Great telephone experience.

We lost electric power to our subpanel on Thanksgiving weekend. The subpanel provides power to part of our kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave, and our office -- huge inconvenience! We didn't expect anyone to come out for a few days and were pleasantly surprised when we heard back from Tommy within 24 hours of calling him. He came out that afternoon, was friendly, thorough, professional, identified and fixed the problem, looked into another minor issue we asked him about and gave us an assessment of it / options. We thought his charges were reasonable, even with a trip charge, especially given that it was a holiday weekend, we expected a higher bill. And the service was fantastic, we really felt that he listened to our description of the problem/how it occurred and investigated all of the potential trouble spots -- so that it wasn't just about switching out a bad circuit breaker, but about making sure that it wasn't just a bad circuit breaker / making sure it doesn't happen again. We will definitely call him again if we need an electrician -- A++ !

It went great. The fellows that worked on it were here when they said they would be here, they got the job done in the amount of time they said they would, they cleaned up after themselves, they were polite and well-mannered, they came back and rechecked everything on their own time to make sure everything was in shape for the city inspector. The experience working with them was great and it did pass inspection.

Tommy came out and gave a bid that was a bit lower than another electrician I had used in the past. Based on Angie's list recommendations I decided to hire Tommy's Electric. Tommy and his employees were always on time, professional and very polite and nice. They did a great job of fishing wire that seemed impossible to run. I would definitely call them back again if I needed more electrical work, I was much happier with them than the prior electrician I had used.

My husband and I bought a foreclosure property and the previous owner's redid the whole basement themselves, including the electrical. The wiring in the house was not done properly and Tommy made sure we had a separate switch for the ceiling fixture in the basement den - whereas before all the lights in the basement were on one switch. He also took out two ceiling fans and replaced them with two new flush light fixtures we bought. The biggest and most time consuming job that Tommy took care of for us was installing a new circuit with a 220 volt outlet in our kitchen for our electric range. Normally this wouldn't be such a time consuming or costly job, but the problem was our circuit box was in the garage and our kitchen was on the far side of the house, so Tommy had to run a lot of wire through our house. Tommy did an excellent job communicating to us how the process of installing this circuit would work and what this particular job would cost us before he began. His job was successfully done and he took great pains and patience to do the job RIGHT! All the wire was concealed and secured through our attic, under our staircase and out to the garage. Tommy is a great guy and seeing how he dealt with all the electric issues in our house, no job is too difficult for him to handle!

Overall, I would recommend Tommy and I plan to use his services in the future.

Tommy is excellent to deal with. He keeps you informed of when and how long the project will run. He listens and completes projects quickly.
