Response from Technical Reinforcements Inc
This review caused more than a little concern around the office, as the work had been done something like 6 months prior to this review, and the tone and details rather conflict with our work order notes. (detailed below) ***** Tech Notes ***** Resolved Seagate backup issue. Installed Avast for Mac. Drop box was not matching between his two computers. Answered general questions on Mac. ****************** Our followup call after the appointment was never returned, and nothing was ever posted to Angie's List to indicate any troubles, however this review would indicate something to the contrary! Suzi (Our office manager) reached out and spoke with Robert, and apparently he claims he never posted this review in the first place... but rather was contacted by Angie's List and asked various questions, to which he answered to the best of his ability (granting that it was 6 months ago that this happened) and this review was the result. In regards to his wanting a followup from someone else, he presently doesn't actually need any help but we have honored the un-used hour of his coupon and have put a note in his file for when he does need assistance. The long and short of it is, I feel it is somewhat disingenuous to be reaching out to customers for a review nearly 6 months after the service call, expecting to get any semblance of an accurate reflection of the service... and to post the review as if it were coming from the customer themselves is not in the least bit objective. I would kindly ask that this sort of thing be discontinued as I've noticed a pattern over the last year... almost all of our negative reviews tend to be coming from this method, whereas most of the accurate reflections of our service come from those members who value Angie's List enough to post a review, detailing their experiences. As a business owner of 15 years, winner of 10 years worth of Angie's List Super Service awards in a row, that's just my 2 cents.
