 + -1 moreWe are very pleased. For a nice and reasonable price we have our old computer back working properly and like new again. At each step along the way, the technician Brett either called or stopped by. He did great work because the Toshiba's response time is back to normal.
Description of Work: Our aging Toshiba laptop was very sick. Sometimes the response time ("gerbil wheel") would crank for hours, even days, never responding. Other times, right in the middle of use, the screen would go black. Basically we had stopped using it; this was a problem and we can't afford to buy a new computer right now.

 + -1 moreBrett was super helpful, explained everything (sometimes twice, since I know zero about the secret innards of computers), and kept me really well-informed throughout the whole process.
Description of Work: I used TRI a couple of years ago and Tom got not only my desktop, but also my iPad and iPhone back in tip-top shape. My desktop was starting to run really slowly, so I figured it was time to have a check up again. This time Brett came. He diagnosed right away that my internal hard drive was getting tired and underperforming. He gave me several options to accommodate various expenses I might consider. He took my desktop with him on Tuesday, did a bunch of wonderful stuff to it over the next few days, (brand new internal hard drive, a much better external hard drive, and more RAM) and and returned it on Friday. It runs like a top now!

Will have them come back to add memory to our older computer. They were reliable and able to teach a non-techie a thing or two. Great Deal and very happy with the job done.

 + -1 moreI had a PC and then I bought a Mac and I couldn't get the Mac to print out to the printer. They came out the day after I called. It printed a couple of pages and I haven't been able to get it to print since. The price was good. I was warned that he was not a Mac expert. He just didn't fix it. It took him about an hour to do it.

I had explained the problem and they immediately ordered the necessary part, then came to pick up my laptop as soon as they received the part. The repair was done very quickly, and my laptop returned promptly. The price charged was far less than I anticipated, and more than reasonable. This experience was the best I have had with a service provider of any kind.
Description of Work: The power port on my laptop needed to be replaced.

 + 0 moreThey were here and they were wonderful. My husband was more than pleased with them. He would have them back again if he needed them. He really was pleased. The fellow that came made sure he understood what my husband wanted done. Sometimes they just grab your phone or something and start digging in around with it. This guy was very job oriented. My husband had specifics for what he wanted done and this fellow made sure he understood what the customer wanted. My husband was with him the whole time and they just took care of business. It worked out well. You can go A down the list because I know my husband was really pleased.
Description of Work: That was a Big Deal. My husband had specific things that he wanted on his computer and iPad and this and that.
