Structure Tech Home Inspections

Wayne was a fantastic inspector. He was professional, got there a few minutes early and went right to work. He was polite, listening to and answering all my questions, even when they were stupid or extraneous to the required inspection (things like tree health, sprinkler system, framing/load bearing walls, wasp nesting habits). He was fun, making several history jokes, most of which went over my unlearned head, but it kept the lengthy and would-be stressful inspection enjoyable. He was thorough, sticking it out even as my questions caused us to go past the usual 3-4 hour inspection time frame to ensure we went over every piece of the house with great detail. He was respectful, bailing all the water out of a tub by hand after we found a leak below the drain that would cause water to get on the ceiling below if he had let it drain. He was knowledgeable, able to give detailed explanations of what he was inspecting, why he was inspecting it, and what he found. He was dedicated, providing a full written report shortly after the inspection despite what was likely already a long, long day. I'm probably missing several things for which I could give further plaudits, but the point here is Wayne was exactly what people look for in an inspector and as a person, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the job he did from start to finish. When I called to make the appointment they got me in the next day! Antonio right on time and was so thorough with his inspection and helpful! He answered all of my questions and gave me ideas on things I need to ask when someone comes out to repair my stucco. He also helped me understand things I could do myself to prevent water from getting in my house. The report was clear and easy to follow. It was such a relief to find that my house is dry!

Structure Tech is excellent. We actually hired them twice in a short amount of time to do inspections on two homes we were looking to purchase. The sewer inspection on the first gave us reason to not purchase that one, but when we found another one, we scheduled with Wayne again. It seems he did not miss a thing, giving us an incredibly complete report on the house. We were able to tag along for the entire inspection, and Wayne never hesitated to answer any questions we had thoroughly. Although more pricey, I would definitely still hire Wayne from Structure Tech again.

Good. They have a great servcie and the folks are knowledgable. They found the roof to be substandard and their report helped us to negotiate money to replace it.

There were some issue that will need to be deal with. I appreciate the inspector finding the problem areas.

Bill Oelrich was able to locate the problem when the contractor could not. He also inspected other areas and made excellent recommendations to us as to what needed to be corrected. Structure Tech is a great company, that has highly skilled inspectors. We are very happy with the inspection and will definitely use them again.

I was anxious for the inspection process because I didn't know what to expect as a first time home buyer. Structure Tech came heavily recommended by my realtor so I felt comfortable scheduling them. George from Structure Tech showed up a few minutes early for my 8am appointment. I introduced myself as the home buyer and introduced my mom. I really appreciated that he talked to me (as a woman in her 20s) about what he planned on doing and his flow and didn't just talk to my mom. He invited me to tag along with him or just hang out separately and have him report back. I chose a mixture of both-- I didn't need to see him turn on the lights or flush toilets but wanted to be included with the inspection of the mechanicals. He stopped and asked if I had any questions at numerous points during the inspection. Never did he talk down to me or glaze over the details. George was just thorough enough without losing me on the technicalities. After each part of the inspection he asked me if I understood everything. He took lots of pictures with a high quality camera and included those pictures in the inspection doc. Pulling up the pictures to show me the attic was a big plus as I could not follow him up there. Except for the attic, everything he took a picture of he showed me in person. One thing that earned him extra bonus points was that he went out of the way to call the seller and tell them himself that the furnace was hazardous and that it should not be turned on. He didn't pawn that off on me or my realtor. Another thing was that he was considerate enough to bring an extra tape measure for me to take measurements if I needed to. The inspection document was emailed over to me (in PDF format) promptly the next day. I had a question about something on the inspection and he got back to me right away. George was personable and added a bit of humor during our time together. My realtor warned me ahead of time that Structure Tech was a little bit more expensive than other inspectors, but everyone who had used them had loved them. I felt like he was worth the money I paid. My mom was equally impressed with him. I will definitely use them again if I buy a home in the future.

It was a top notch experience. Milind was my inspector. He was prompt, friendly, explained everything, and answered dozens of my questions as I followed him around for over 4 hours while he completed the inspection. He provided a very detailed report the next day with many photos and recommendations. I was very impressed with the service and professionalism plus scheduling was very easy. I asked for a radon test very late into the process and they still accommodated me. I wouldn't go to anyone other that StructureTech and Milind in the future.

I contacted Structure Tech and requested a buyer's home inspection to be scheduled during our inspection period. They assigned an inspector (Matthew Behrens) and scheduled the inspection in MLS. Mr. Behrens was phenomenal! We accompanied him during the entire three hour inspection, and he explained all of his findings to us as we went along. He was very thorough in examining every part of the house, and took numerous photographs to document his findings. He provided us with a 55-page report later that same day detailing his findings and the relatively important/severity of each. Overall, I was very pleased with the inspection, and would definitely hire Structure Tech again. Yes, they were more expensive than other inspectors I quoted, but the thoroughness of the inspection was well worth it.

They were very friendly and prompt and went through the inspection. We used a Stucco inspection and a normal inspection. Both reports were very extensive and had a lot of information about our house.

From start to finish, Nick was amazing. Great communicator and very professional. Would highly recommend!

Barry Eliason from Structure Tech was wonderful! He was thorough, patient, and trustworthy, all extremely important qualities in trying to decide whether to buy a house. The sewer and chimney inspectors who Structure Tech sent were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely call on Structure Tech again!

We have used other home inspection services before - NONE can compare to the quality and service you will get from Structure Tech. They may cost $100 more than the other guys - but we are totally convinced that they have saved us thousands of dollars more than their competitors - and - they have saved us from purchasing properties with serious &/or hidden issues. The information (with pictorial and detailed written proof) they give you will also help you negotiate a better price on your home purchase. We have used Structure Tech's services 5 times - having bought 3 of those properties. Family members and friends have also used them with great satisfaction. We would no longer EVER consider using any other inspectors. They are ALL great (we have used 3) inspectors. They book very quickly so call them the second you know you need an inspection. There is good reason that you can book other inspection companies in the next day or two! We just can't say enough good about Structure Tech. Don't use the inspector your real estate agent suggests - they just want a quick sale - use Structure Tech and be certain you will not be walking blindly into any home issues you will regret! (use them for professional radon detection also)

Very well. The inspection team arrived before I did. They explained what they were doing and why. I followed them as they performed the inspection and asked questions. They answered all of them and I took notes. They were very thorough and found things to comment on that I would not have guessed needed addressing. They also tested for Radon, which was at acceptable levels.

Very well. Our inspector was Milind Angolkar, and he is the BEST ! He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and very friendly. He answered all our questions and explained everything we wanted to know. We are repeat customers as this is the second house he inspected for us. We would not want to buy a house without having him look at it.

Detail oriented, thorough inspection. Matt welcomed questions and addressed all our concerns. Many photos were obtained and well organized in report to provide documentation of concerns. Report was well organized and clearly delineated most concerning items from cosmetic issues.

We worked with Wayne on the home we're purchasing and he was absolutely top-notch. Not only did he do great work on the inspection, but he let me tail him the entire time, asking all kinds of nosy questions about issues he found and gathering tips on home maintenance, DIY projects, how to address smaller issues that I didn't feel the need to ask the sellers about, etc. He never grew impatient with my (probably excessive) questions and was a total pro in every way. Structure Tech's inspection reports are very easy to follow, include great descriptions and documentations of problems, and include a great summary on the "big ticket" inspection issues right on the first page. Highly recommended.
