This report was invaluable and gives me a peace of mind on what is often the largest purchase anyone will make, for their home. Understanding safety concerns and getting ideas of how to address them would ease any parents mind before bringing their family into their new home. Oh, and Reuben's detailed explanations of some of the report topics was highly education, easy to digest and did not take a lot of time. I feel I gained a greater understanding of what it means to be a home owner.

The large amount of 5 star reviews don’t lie! We got an accepted home purchase offer on a Saturday night and requested a home inspection for Monday morning. By the Sunday morning we had gotten confirmation we were scheduled for the next day, received payment request, and any other information we needed. Sunday evening our inspector Jim texted me to see if we had any questions or specific non-routine things we wanted him to take a look at. When we met him Monday morning to walk through the house with him we were blown away at how knowledgeable and confident he was about pretty much every aspect of the house. He was immediately willing to admit anything he didn’t have expertise on and for those things he recommended having a more specialized company come do an analysis for us. I really appreciate people being honest when they aren’t certain about something instead of bluffing. We had our inspection report emailed to us the evening of the same day the inspection was done which was very appreciated due to our short inspection window. I have full confidence Jim would be willing to explain or talk us through understanding anything on the report. The report itself is beautifully designed and laid out, included many images, and also includes a ton of helpful links to education articles about various issues/maintenance items that were found in our inspection. We felt very confident in our home purchase after working with Structure Tech and would recommend Jim to anyone out there needing a home inspection. Thanks so much!

Thank you Structure Tech for doing a short notice, special inspection on my new construction home! Your excellent inspector Eric Larsen was so observant and was able to access areas of our attic space we were not. He was able to identify the source of some serious issue we will be able to make sure are addressed by our builder before it becomes damaged beyond repair. As a Realtor of 20+ years I should have followed my own advice, which is to get a home inspection before closing on a new construction home! Having a company like Structure Tech on your building schedule would be a good idea for anyone. Eric was knowledgeable, local, and experienced with new construction and all the current building codes. Plus he was thoughtful, kind and shared many insights. I wish we could give him MORE than 5 stars!

Nick inspected our future home. He was thorough and explained everything in easy to understand terms. He called before he arrived at the home to let us know we could come anytime during the inspection to explore the home while he worked. He took his time and ensured he checked everything. At the end he walked through the home with us to explain his findings. Great experience and highly recommend!

Joe W. was our inspector on our new construction home. Many people would assume that with a new construction home, that an inspector is not needed because everything is brand new. Joe was very thorough and showed us critical items that needed to be addressed right away as well as the more cosmetic things. We were able to have the construction manager look at the report the next day and he made sure every item was addressed and remedied before our sale date. We saved money and are very comfortable and happy with our new home. It's been 2 months....no issues.

It is not hyperbole when I say Structure Tech is the best. Their team is communicative and punctual. They send two copies of their final report. One that has all the critical information summarized in a understandable and neat format. It includes links to their in-house blog explaining different home issues and repairs in layman's terms. The other report is verbose and is perfect for buyers like me who want to drink from the fire hose. Our inspector Bryan was the perfect balance of enthusiastic and down to earth. Any issues with the property we found, he had well measured and grounded advice to give us on how to proceed. It's quite refreshing to have an inspector who takes issues seriously, but also looks at a house pragmatically. Our house needs some work, and honestly what house doesn't. We've been in contact with a dozen different contracting companies to remedy some of the big problems with our new home. Unilaterally, every company knows who structure tech is and sing the praises of their work. Our local insurance company knows who they are and to quote our agent "if Structure Tech did the inspection, you can take it as the word of God." That last bit may have been hyperbole, but it certainly sums up our feelings about quality of their work and their pristine reputation among other businesses in the field. In short, home buying is an expensive endeavor and fixing a bad house is even more expensive. With all the information that Structure Tech gave us, we were able to make an informed decision about our purchase and can rest easy knowing they left no stone unturned.

Our inspector, Bryce Klym, was the perfect combination of personable and professional. I was a real estate appraiser in Chicago for 30 years and recently, a commercial assessor with Dakota County, MN. Obviously, I'm in a position to judge...and he's good.
