Structure Tech Home Inspections

We're so happy we hired Structure Tech on the advice of our realtor. Tessa was so thorough and professional. As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous. Tessa was patient and approachable and put us at ease. She explained the process very well. Then not only did she effectively inspect all aspects of the home but she educated us on what she was looking for and why. We also got a very complete lesson in home ownership. The report we received was detailed, complete with pictures and our sewer inspection. Structure Tech is a great value. I highly recommend them and will hire them again.

The inspection was extremely thorough and professional. My inspector, Tessa Murry, was able to answer all of my questions. I was extremely impressed with the forensic tools and methods Tessa used to uncover items that were not visible.

Matt Behrens inspected our home. We had found out there were errors made by a roofer contractor so decided to have a whole house inspection done so we could plan repairs and find out if there were hidden problems . Matt was VERY thorough. He discovered that roofers had shingled over TWO ( not one as we have thought ) of our bathroom vents. He found issues contributing to our ice dam problem and moisture issues. The report was 51 pages including photos. It was helpful that the items were prioritized including notes about which were safety issues. Matt is also very accessible after the inspection for further questions and clarification. Highly recommend

He was eager to inform and educate us and was a pleasure to work with. He found issues with the home we were buying that needed attention, which I'm sure many inspectors would have overlooked. He saved us many thousands of dollars of repairs.

Joe Westerlund did a fantastic job on my condo inspection. The appointment setup process was quick and painless, Joe showed up even earlier than I did, and he was very professional throughout the process. He was able to walk me through any and all issues that he noticed, and made sure I understood what was important to take care of right away and what didn't need immediate attention. I had told him I was on a bit of a time crunch and he accommodated while still managing to be completely thorough. Great customer service, excellent knowledge and attention to detail. I wanted an inspection of a condo that was built in the 1980s. Milind Angolkar performed the inspection. He tested the plumbing, electric load, etc. and looked for structural issues in the unit itself. I was very satisfied with the inspection. He identified a few minor issues which will be addressed by the seller and also improvements that could be made by me after the purchase. I received a detailed report with photos. Note: the standard price is reduced for condos.

Buying a home is stressful especially without owning a home in the past. Nick and his team were amazing and walked me through the home and explained what issues they were seeing. Not only did he have a huge amount of knowledge he also showed me how to replace filters and tips on general up keep on some of the home. As a single woman, it is extremely important to me to be in safe and comfortable environment and Nick provided just that. I left the inspection confident in the home I was purchasing.

We ended up having inspections on two homes because the first was a condo and we cancelled the purchase based on HOA docs (not inspection results). For both inspections, I was really impressed with Structure Tech - they are the most thorough home inspectors that I've ever used. They are also patient and take time to explain findings and answer questions. Matthew Behrens and Joe Westerlund were the inspectors we had and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Our inspection was really great! Matt did a great job of explaining what he was looking at in a thorough, and methodological way. He was willing to answer any questions we had and did not use highly technical jargon. He was able to tell us what and why it was important and gave us a really good perspective on the must dos versus items to be fixed down the line. He communicates really well and we alters very satisfied with the level of service and professionalism he provided. Structure Tech is highly recommended!

The evaluator was very professional and helpful to me in navigating the issues raised by a previous TISH report. He guided me to proper approaches to clear issues from that report and conducted a new TISH evaluation. Work was done in a timely manner and the cost was reasonable.
