Soderlin Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning

Tim was very thorough and admitted his puzzlement of the problem. He offered the possible solution of replacing the cap, but cautioned that he could not guarantee this would solve the problem. I acknowledged that and gave him the go ahead. This did turn out to be the solution, and I am very happy. Other vendors looked at the problem and shrugged. Tim from Soderlin was willing to work with me to try to find a solution. I will definitely be using this company again.

Mark and his coworker were polite and worked quickly for about four hours in our cold house and basement. Soderlin has a big emergency service charge of $189.00, but they came out for a new customer when others wouldn't or couldn't. Mark did not charge us for the thermostat or permit fee. He tried to keep costs to a minimum. We were happy with the service. I don't really have cost information to compare.

They were fast with response, polite, and helpful. They were expensive, but not any more expensive than other plumbers. They were one of the few places that actually had a real 24-hour service for boiler problems. I would definitely call them for future plumbing or heating work.

We have used Soderlin before for plumbing and heating work and have always been very happy with them. It is easy to get on their schedule within days of calling (for a non-emergency call) and they are reasonable with their prices. Our installer, Mark, has been excellent. He is always prompt, does good work and leaves the work area cleaner than it was before he came. We will definitely use Soderlin again.

Mark was very professional and courteous. He went out of his way to assist in getting a part for the tub faucet, which was missing, by calling the manufacturer himself even though we purchased the faucet from Restoration Hardware. He also had to come back because the faucets were not in yet and did not charge an additional service fee. Unlike most plumbers, he was very informative and kept me updated on how the work was being completed. He was able to come out very quickly and was very neat and tidy. A little expensive, but they guarantee their work for 1 year, and since our home is older,(1930) I wanted to use a company who does a lot of work in older homes. We are very happy with the work they performed.

They were very prompt and professional. He clearly stated what he was going to do and for how much and did exactly that. The price may be on the high end (I didn't do any comparison shopping), but the level of service was excellent.

Told me that the flue liner on chimney was broken and needed to be replaced at a cost of $3000, but said that I should expect to put in a new furnace. 3 other companies disagreed with this and there was nothing wrong with chimney liner. Soderlin always takes a conservative approach but this was significantly off from the ultimate solution. I have used Soderlin many times and found them to be ethical and considerate, but I was not happy with this service call.

I had a good experience with Soderlin. They were prompt, efficient, and did quality work. They also gave me an onsite estimate on some other plumbing work I might have done. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent service, very courteous, and very professional. Soderline provides top quality work - and when you are talking about plumbing, that is the only way to go. I've done a lot of my own plumbing (two bathroom remodels, a utility sink and basic leaky pipe repairs), but was not interested in touching the main water pipe into our house or the water meter. The Soderlin plumber was knowledgeable and did excellent work in a short time. Soderlin is not the low cost provider and that's okay with me. I would rather have Soderlin quality than another low bid plumbing job that I end up fixing with my father-in-law!

Mark came, inspected the leak, and determined it was a loose packing nut. He fixed the leak without replacing any parts. While here he also explained several points about my boiler, radiators, and baseboard heat. Gave me an estimate for a future repair job at no extra charge. He was on time, very courteous, very informative, and extremely pleasant to work with. Great job!

Excellent. Service was prompt from the phone call (receptionist) to the service guy. He gave us options of how to fix it on our own but we opted to have him take care of it right there for our convenience. Fully explained everything.

They were responsive, prompt, and efficient. The work done was excellent. They cleaned the area and removed our old tank. (They helped us retrieve our dog when he escaped while they were carrying the new tank in the door).

EXCELLENT. JEFF WAS HERE AT A TIME OF CRISIS AND GOT OUR SITUATION UPGRADED TO EMERGENCY STATUS. THEY DID A COMPLETE THOROUGH JOB AND CLEANED UP COMPLETELY. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME NOT WITH STANDING THAT IT WAS $11,000 THAT I HAD NOT PLANNED TO SPEND.

I NEEDED AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL, AND ARRANGED FOR ME TO BE THE FIRST CALL OF THE MORNING. I LEFT FOR WORK, LEAVING MY 18-YEAR-OLD SON TO HANDLE THINGS, WHICH WORKED FINE. THE PLUMBER CALLED ME TO QUOTE THE PRICE, AND AGAIN WHEN HE SAW THE EXTENT OF THE PROBLEM. HE WOULD HAVE ARRANGED FOR A DRAIN GUY, BUT I HAVE SOMEONE I LIKE TO USE. WHEN THE DRAIN GUY WAS DONE, I CALLED SODERLIN BACK, AND THEY SENT THE PLUMBER BACK OUT RIGHT AWAY TO RESET THE TOILET.

VERY PROMPT WITH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION. WORK WAS DONE THOROUGHLY AND CORRECTLY.

THEY CONNECTED THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL AND DISHWASHER.

GENERALLY GOOD. PUNCTUAL, ABLE TO COME PROMPTLY, AND RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY TO A CALL-BACK.

SPENDING SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS IS NEVER MY IDEA OF A GOOD TIME, BUT THIS EXPERIENCE WAS AS PLEASANT AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN. HE TOOK HIS TIME TO EXPLAIN ALL OF MY OPTIONS AND WHAT TO EXPECT. NICE JOB!

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT SODERLIN IS THAT I HAD A CONTACTPERSON AND HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER. MY CONTACT ALWAYS GOT BACK TO ME IMMEDIATELY AND WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I DON'T THINK ANY OF THESE BIGGER PROJECTS EVER TURN OUT EXACTLY AS YOU FIRST IMAGINE THEM SO IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE A CONSISTANT CONTACT PERSON THAT COULD EXPLAIN WHAT WAS GOING ON.

ANOTHER EXCELLENT JOB. QUICK, EFFICIENT, CLEAN AND HONEST. JIM TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO ADD THE BACKFLOW PREVENT MYSELF THAN TO HAVE HIM DO IT. I APPRECIATE THAT KIND OF HONESTY. EVERYONE WAS PLEASANT AND EASY TO WORK WITH - EVEN AFTER I RESCHEDULED 4 TIMES.
