IT WAS POSITIVE BUT IN THE FUTURE I WOULD ASK MORE QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PRICE. BECAUSE THE COMPANY WAS CLOSE, I DECIDED NOT TO CALL OTHER COMPANIES FOR AN ESTIMATE. NOT A WISE DECISION BECAUSE I HAD NO COMPARISON.

It was a wonderful experience. Darin arrived during the time period Larry said he would. They called to let me know when they would be at the house, and the pricing was very reasonable. They also did a nice job of cleaning up. I have used a few other plumbing company's, and they have poor service. The service was great. I highly recommend them.

Prompt return call. Showed up on time within a 2 hour window. Fair pricing.

We have had Soderlin out to the house for plumbing issues in the past & they have done a great job. We called & they got us on the schedule. After the tech, Tim, looked at the unit, it was determined that it needed about $1000 worth of repair (the unit is over 20 years old). We have a home warranty & the warranty company needed to okay the repair. Tim & the office at Soderlin spent over an hour on the phone with the warranty company to finally come to an agreement about the repair cost. Soderlin was great & very patient with this process. We agreed to replace the unit. Everything looks great! I can't speak to the price of the unit because we did not have time to compare. Very good experience! We will use them again.

excellent service. requested a early appointment - scheduled for 7 AM. I got a phone call at 6:50 stating Mark would be there in 10 minutes. Mark completed a assessment of the problem. Provided a quote. Went to his truck to get the replacement. Unfortunately he did not have a replacement, so he went back to the shop. Returned within 15 minutes. The box had been opened so Mark offered a discount of the faucet. Excellent! When he installed the piece, cleaned the sink, shined the faucet beyond belief, turned the water on and tested it, it leaked. Mark took it part, noticed a crack, called the shop and requested that someone bring another faucet. Mark sat in his truck, and sipped on his coffee which is fine with me because I had stuff to do. The part was delivered, Mark still gave me the discount. Now I have a fabulous faucet and a excellent source for future plumbing and heating needs. Good info on a replacement boiler, fireplace insert and dishwasher.

Very professional installation. Left supplies (vents) to be placed once the dry wall is up so they didn't need to come out again (saved money from another trip charge).

I was going to perform all the concrete demolition and repour when complete. There estimate came in considerably higher than I anticipated. Double checked that it did not include concrete work and they said the estimate did not include any concrete work. Got another estimate from Zell Plumbing for $1600 for the same work. Soderlin was good to work with and I had them perform the duct work, but I feel the estimate for the drain work was out of line. So I went with Zell. Thanks Angie's List!

The plumber, Darin, was excellent. He was bright, personable, informative, found the problem right away, worked quickly & energetically, & had an upbeat & helpful attitude. My experience with the telephone person who did the scheduling was also excellent. They were very helpful & pleasant on the phone.

Soderlin was very professional & polite. Jeff did a good job & was on time. Of the production three (quality, service, price), the customer gets to have two. Soderlin chooses to give the customer quality and service. They did very well with these. Soderlin chose to keep pricing. I thought their pricing was quite high, but they were there and were able to do the job immediately. I now have hot water.

The kind gentleman (I think his name was Dustin) did some troubleshooting & in spite of the fact that his initial diagnosis was a faulty part under warranty by another company, he did some additional poking around & finally found the solution. He spent at least 2 hours on the issue & he was very polite, kind, & honest. I was very happy that he went beyond his initial thoughts & that he got it to work. I would not hesitate to work with this company again.

Frustrating, far more expensive than anticipated or than seemed justified by the time workers spent on the job. Poor communications with the firm.

Mark was prompt, friendly, helpful, and very efficient. From comments on Angie's List, I knew that Soderlin was probably a bit more expensive than others, but also that they did high-quality work. I don't know how the price would have compared to other plumbers, but the work was great.

Regarding the pipe replacement, I found them most professional. They came out to do the estimate and were able to do the work right away. I was impressed with the job they did and the time it took them to get it done. A few weeks later, my water heater began leaking. It was after hours, so they sent someone out at after hours rates. He arrived quickly and shut the gas heater off. We agreed I would call the next day as soon as I was home so he could install the new heater. I called and within half an hour he was there. Their employees are pleasant and professional. I would hire them again.

Jeff was great! He not only investigated and spent considerable time in tracking the source of the leak, but above all, he gave me the solution that did not require any involved effort/cost. He fixed the drain in a minute. He thoroughly checked the faucet issue and again there was honest professional advice. For all the time he spent, I was only charged the service fee of $59. I think I have found my one plumbing service company. I am very pleased. He also called me earlier than schedule time to see if I he can come. This worked out great. I will highly recommend him and the company! He was just there to give me an estimate, wow! Thoroughly pleased.

I had chosen the higher of the two bids to do the job to fix the hole in my floor. I don't believe that the other bid was realistic about the scope of the job. Mark gave me estimates on several projects. He explained things thoroughly, and I felt very secure about the work he was going to do. We had some scheduling problems to finish the job (the city inspector needed to do his thing before the floor and wall patch could be completed), but that seemed beyond the control of Soderlin, and I believe they did everything they could to expedite the job (including meeting me off premise to collect the key again one day). He also left the basement cleaner than it had been when started.

The work was done promptly and well.

Very professional, very quick. The valve to my furnace went out on a Sunday night. Water was pouring into the furnace and out on the floor, so I had to shut the water off. They came very quickly on Monday morning around the time they told me.

Professional and prompt, came right when they said they would. The plumber had a trainee with him, but that didn't impede the process at all.

Plumber was friendly, polite, prompt and conscientious. He was writing up the bill when he thought of another way to test the problem (same conclusion: it appears to be a problem with my main line). He replaced an old plug, explained everything, and gave recommendations for companies that can do the work on my main line. I am very satisfied. To me, getting a diagnosis that I can trust was worth the $59.

We awoke on a Saturday morning to a leak from our upstairs bathroom that left water stains on our brand new hardwood floor on the first floor and badly damaged the ceiling of a study on the lower level. We looked for a plumber on Angie's List but needed to act quickly as the damage was apparently continuing. Soderlin looked good, so we called them, and they came fairly quickly. Because, it was a weekend, there was a charge of $189 just for them to show up! We thought that was pretty hefty, but on top of that, the $392 charge (that includes a 10% discount from Angie) seems way out of line for the work was done. He spent an hour, maybe up to 1.5 hours max, changing a couple of pipes and hoses, and our final bill was $581. That is atrocious. Though it did take care of the problem - I have no complaints about the work - I can't imagine why it was so costly or that we couldn't have had it done for less with another plumber. We will go elsewhere next time.

Darin was punctual and very professional, although we're still waiting to receive a quote from him on radiant floor heating. I am happy to use the 10% off Angie's List coupon. Their pricing was a little lower than their competitor's price.

They were great! They responded quickly on a Sunday. The price was high, but it was Sunday. They were very good.

The plumber was on time and fixed the problem. I got an estimate ahead of time, but when he was finished in 4 minutes I feel that paying $169 was outrageous. I will not likely call this place again.
