Justin and Soderlin are great to work with! When Justin had to deliver my ''bad news'', he communicated a couple options w/pros and cons of each in order for me to make an educated decision. The work was done w/precision, Justin cleaned up, was very detailed and complete with his work and a delight as a contractor. The invoice is detailed and he reviewed the warranty for each with me. I am very pleased with the service from Soderlin and Justin. I will use them in the future and request Justin as our service person.

They did a good job, I was quite satisfied.

Technician was timely, efficient, professional and honest.

Soderlin gave us a very high bid to replace our leaking a/c. They priced out a low-level model Freon(Goodman) and it was still more than two other companies' bids that had top-of-the-line models (Bryant and Carrier). They also told us some story about copper being really expensive right now driving up cost--I didn't hear that from anyone else. For the cost of Soderlin's bid, we got a Carrier PURON system AND had an extra duct run to our upstairs. We've been using Soderlin for years just because and never realized how pricey they were. They've always done good work for us, but I'd rather have good work at less exorbitant prices!

The contractor came, was friendly, and completed the work in 2-3 hours. However, after the installation was complete, we realized he had ALSO cut one of the floor/ceiling joists on the first floor/basement (not to be confused with a header), which they did not warn us about in advance or include on the waiver. Although on subsequent consulting with our construction guy, in which he said cutting the floor joist was "probably not going to be an issue for the structural integrity of the house", Soderlin absolutely should have talked to us in advance (we were there for the install) before cutting the joist. Especially considering all their concern about the header. Within a day, some of the ductwork actually fell down, since the elbow joint was not secured, so they returned immediately to fix it. I'm definitely willing to pay more for work done well, but since they were expensive, the work was ordinary, and their communication lacking, I probably would not hire them again.

Service was performed 1 day after I called to schedule the service call. Serviceman arrived at noon for the 12pm-4pm service call. He provided an accurate estimate quickly, performed all the work the same day in 2 1/2 hours. I was frankly amazed!

The plumber who oversaw our project was difficult to work with. Although he returned our calls promptly, he provided us with minimal information about the project and often seemed angry at us. We were always uncertain as to the cause, as he did not reveal his concerns. The decorative plumbing fixtures he installed were crooked or he omitted trim features. When the project was complete, the tub did not drain (a problem we had discussed with him at the beginning of the project) and there was a water flow problem with the sink faucets. We called to complain, and the tub was fixed. We removed short galvanized stubs on our own to fix the faucet flow. We had to negotiate the Angie's list discount because of miscommunication regarding the presentation of the coupon. Although we mentioned Angie's list in the initial calls, and did present the coupon, it was not at the time of the quote. We also did not get credit for the estimate because we used Angie's list discount.

FIRST TIME HAVING TO HIRE A PLUMBER FOR MY OLD HOUSE, HE CAME ON TIME WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EVEN ADDITIONAL WORK WAS FOUND, I DIDN'T FEEL PRESSURED INTO HAVING HIM DO IT. HE WAS PREPARED, CLEAN AND FAIRLY QUICK.

They quoted a price $500 more than what I ended up having the work done for.

They were punctual and provided good service.

Alex was very courteous, punctual and got the work done quickly. He provided a lot of information and suggestions in helping ot keep the line clear and what I should look for in future. I was very pleased with the servce!

He did an excellent job. Everything was cleaned up and no debris of any kind was left. I thought it was a little expensive.

The plumber arrived the same day I called, even though there was no emergency or rush. He called when he was on his way, so that I would know to expect him. He recommended a solution and gave me precise directions on how to fix the problem myself, so as to save considerable money.

They were good. They were friendly and on time. They were professional.

The experience was good. Soderlin gives you a heads up before they head over so you aren't surprised. The work was done pretty quickly. The plumber was courteous. There was a problem, and the plumber (same one) came out again, and fixed it right away. Great service. Nice people.

I really enjoyed working with Mark. He was courteous and responsive and answered each of my questions throughly.

Very professional and courteous, but extremely expensive for job. Less than 8 hours of work.

The plumber was on time and VERY helpful, even though the company was going to charge WAY TOO MUCH! He gave me advice about what to ask for, etc. with other plumbers, and tried his best to help me save money. Overall advice to others - check out companies who will charge hourly and material only, rather than companies who charge by the job and who have to pay a lot for advertising. They will cost and arm and a leg!

We called for emergency service. Bill arrived very promptly. He located the problem quickly and corrected it in a very timely manner. He even fixed another existing issue by installing a new replacement part. He was courteous, very meticulous, and professional.

The plumber arrived on time and was here for 10 minutes. I guess the amount charged was average for plumbers, but if I had had a couple of other small jobs to do, I would have felt like I at least got my money's worth. Anyway, the dryer is hooked up with no problems, and I would hire them again.

The work performed was done well and the area was left clean, but I really had an issue with the cost. In some instances I would agree that you get what you pay for, but after observing the repair and understanding what went into it, $317.50 an hour is a bit steep. Had we not been in the position of being without the use of our kitchen sink and dishwasher for two days, I would have declined the repair, paid the service call fee and shopped around. I gave Soderlin a B rating overall, because they did refund $30 for a step of the repair they did not perform.

I was very impressed with Soderlin. Mark came out to do a bid for a pedestal sink and helped us find a model that worked with our plumbing. He also helped us select the right faucet and we ended up deciding to change our shower fixtures too. The sink had to be ordered and I was told it would be here in 4 weeks. It came in right on time and they scheduled the installation two days later. Mark and Justin did a great job and I was very impressed with how they cleaned everything when they were finished.

The company was very responsive and conscientious to time commitments. The employee did an excellent job trouble shooting the issue. After two other companies looking at the issue, Soderlin was able to find and fix the problem within a reasonable cost! He was very professional.

Overall, this company provides quality work, and works with the customer to get the job done. This was the first time that this particular water-powered backup sump pump was installed, but it works as planned. I would re-hired them for any of plumbing needs.

Plumber was on time and polite. Told me that water heaters typically need to be replaced at 10-11 years. Told me what he would charge to replace my water heater at this time. I thought the price was high and told him. He said that I could check other companies and that the service call would be 40 something dollars. The job took 2 hours. I forgot to print out the coupon. I called the company and was told to mail the coupon in and I would receive a credit. I asked will the company send me a check for the 10% off and I was told yes. I will write back when I recieve the credit. I will send the coupon out today June 26, 2006.
