RW Ceilings & Walls

After the spray texture tried we noticed two colors on the ceiling. After calling Roger he sent a crew back the next business day to paint it. Now it looks awesome. We didn't have much hope for the repairs but his crew did a great job. They were ontime, neat, and cleaned up the job site when done. Not to mention the price was great.

The end product was wonderful. It turned out better than I expected.

I was very pleased with this company's performance from start to finish. Roger came to give us a bid and we discussed options within 2 days of our initial contact. They were able to start within 2 weeks. The project took approximately 2 days. The crew was very punctual, professional, and courteous. They even called to let us know they would be 20 minutes late on one day. I was impressed with this company's knowledge of their product. I plan to use this company again when we do some updating of our upper level.

Great. Greg, Phil and Dan arrived on time, prepared the work area. Both jobs were done in 80 minutes. The men took care to leave their shoes in the garage each time they entered the house to work. They vacuumed and cleaned up well. I could have done the repairs myself but at their price I felt comfortable calling them.

On time, charges exactly what was estimated, work seems high quality. Trusted them enough to leave them alone in our house. Only complaints: we thought we'd get a call when they were finished and didn't until we called them, probably a miscommunication, and we didn't realize that due to the drying time, we'd have to re-hang our own light fixtures.

They were punctual, professional and easy to work with.

Excellent. Roger said the patch would be 90% invisible compared with complete re-do of the ceiling (about $500 more). This room is not seen much by others, so we were content to do the patch. Roger was correct. It is visible - at least if you know to look and what to look for. But I'm not telling!

Roger took my phone call on Thursday, June 25th, and agreed to me with me later in the morning for an estimate. He was prompt and polite. I asked him to provide quotes for some additional work in the future. He quoted fair prices, and gave thorough explanations of each project. I had several questions about finishing (painting) the drywall, and he gave very detailed answers that positively influenced the outcome of my paint job. The crew arrived on time the next day, and quickly and cleanly completed the job. They were personable, and answered all of my questions.

Received estimates from 3 provider. Roger was not the lowest cost estimate but I was impressed by his punctuality and professionalism. He also was able to best explain the work that would be done. His crew arrived on time and performed the work quickly with high quality and cleaned up very well afterwards. They did a good job matching the texture of repaired areas to that of the original wall. Overall an excellent experience.

I received bids from three plaster repair companies that I found on Angie's List. RW Ceilings & Walls had the lowest bid. Roger Wilson, the owner, provided the estimate. A handout was provided to me with references and information about what to expect with the job. The job was done by Greg and two other employees who have worked for RW Ceilings for several years. Roger is very personable and responsive; all employees were easy to work with. While the ceiling work was being done, the rooms were carefully enclosed in plastic sheeting which is suspended from the tops of the walls. This keeps things fairly protected from the white dust produced, but on a job this size one might expect that there will still be some dust when the job is done. Expect some strong odor if oil sealer is used. The team worked quickly; this job was done in about two days. On the basement wall repairs, care was taken to match the existing sand finish of the surrounding walls. Paint colors were also well matched with existing colors where necessary. Roger came once to see how things were progressing. Payment was due upon completion.

Roger (the owner) came out to provide an estimate on the job almost immediately. His estimate was very reasonable and he was very attentive to the details. Within a week of awarding him the work, his people were at my house and starting the job. His people were on time and professional. The job turned out great and I did not have any surprises (higher prices, damage, or anything else). I would highly recommend R W Ceilings & Walls!

It went very well and very smoothly. Roger sent a crew of 4 people, who showed up promptly when scheduled and were in and out within about 3.5 hours. They made sure all the furniture and flooring was covered and cleaned up well after themselves (there was still settling of dust and paint after they left, but that minor and unavoidable).

Roger responded quickly to our response for an estimate. Once we scheduled a date he said that his crew would probably arrive a little early which they did. All the work took about 3 hours, they cleaned up after themselves and they were gone by lunchtime. We were very happy with all the repairs. You cannot see where the repairs were done on the bedroom wall and ceiling (although it did take a day for the ceiling to dry which worried my husband at first but the next day he saw his concerns were unfounded). The plaster in the dining room has a rather unusual texture which was very hard to match but they did a good job on that and with the new paint, you would not see it unless you were looking for it.

Everything was good. They kept appointments well and did everything to our liking.

They did a excellent job and cleaned up after the work was completed. After the work was completed the ceiling looks like it was never damaged.

In general it did not go as well as I had hoped. His crew was timely and polite and the installation of the drywall went quickly. But once they finished the mudding, sanding and painting, I could see a lack of detail in their work. Seams were visible, the sanding had not been done properly, one of the corners was not square. We called Roger to tell him we were not happy with the work. He rushed over the next morning and called us while we were at work to say he was embarrassed. They redid everything. (Apparently they did not have enough lighting to see the mistakes, but they never asked for additional lighting, nor did they bring their own.) Even after they redid a few seams and the sanding and painting I can still see screws popping through and inconsistency in the surface (i.e. the place where the drywall meets plaster). The corner that was not square is better, but I still feel it is inadequate. However, the ceilings look amazing!

The job went very well. The crew was neat, punctual, and was careful of my house and belongings. They finished the job within three hours, and it looks very good.

It went well. It is a great improvement from the horrible tiles and cracked plaster that were there previously! As other reports indicated, Roger's crew is very fast. From start to finish, the job took about 1 1/2 hours to complete which is nice for convenience, but it also did not allow enough drying time which caused a goldish color to show through parts of the ceiling. I called Roger that day to get his input, and he was very quick to offer his apologies and to have his crew come out the next day to correct the problem. Both times they came out, the crew was very punctual which is nice. Overall, I felt as if the price was very good and the company was very pleasant to work with.

Roger was friendly and informative. He explained what would be done and gave me a written explanation with references.These guys were *fast.* They scheduled 3-5 hours for the project but finished in two! They were so fast that the Kilz didn't have time to dry completely before they painted over it. Because of that, some water stains bled through the paint. When I called Roger to let him know, he explained that this happens in about 10% of cases. I recall him mentioning that the product had changed, which causes this to happen sometimes. Anyway, he didn't hesitate to schedule his crew to come back and re-paint the ceiling at no extra charge. Again the crew was lightning fast. They set up, painted the ceiling, cleaned up and left in less than half an hour! No more water stains, and the ceiling looks beautiful. There were a few spots where paint was chipped on the walls from pulling the tape off. For the money they saved me and the quality of the plastering work they did, I didn't care.

I had a lot of ceiling damage from leakage into a bathroom and also through a roof. They were in and out in about four hours and were able to take care of the job very efficiently. I was surprised not only how quickly the job was done, but also by the quality (very good). They did such a good job that you can't tell where the repair ends and where the original ceilings.

Roger immediately returned my call and set up a time to come over and give me an estimmate on the work I needed done. He was very professional and walked right through the 3 rooms pointing out problem areas that I had not even noticed. He explained in detail why I had the damage I did, what they would need to do to correct the current problems and eliminate future problems. He explained how long it would take and what to expect during the work. His crew showed up exactly on time. They came in and immediately got to work drapping the areas to contain the dust and scraping residue. They completed the work and were out in a minimal amount of time. I was very impressed with his crew and their proficiency. They were very neat and totally cleaned up before they left. They did a great job.

Great. Roger was very down to earth, his team worked quickly and cleaned up the space well, and he provided a long list of references of previous work done.

Roger Wilson is easy to work with. He knows everything about wall and ceiling repair and is excellent at his profession. Most important, he is honest (which is hard to find these days). We had a problem with the work his crew did in their first attempt, and they came back promptly and left us with a 100% perfect job. Overall a minor inconvenience yielding a great result. Really nice people, responsible, cleaned up and all that stuff. We were really impressed.
