We purchased a Groupon for this company to provide gutter cleaning service. We placed several calls and emails and received no response. We contacted Groupon to try and receive a refund. They tried to contact Prestige on our behalf to see if an appointment for service could still be made. It has now been several weeks and the service we paid for has not been performed, not even scheduled, or worse of all we have not even received a response. Customer Service 101 should be to at least return calls/emails as a courtesy to explain you are very busy. Heck, even if they cannot schedule an appointment in the next couple week,s at least let us know that. It sure seems like they bit off more than they can chew by offering a Groupon promotion. How about hiring someone part-time just to return voicemails as a courtesy? How hard is that? F all the way.

Mike worked us into his busy schedule after we had to change our appointment day - very accomodating. Carpet looked great. There were a few spots which didn't come out and they offered to come back to work even harder at them. My daughter decidedshe would leave as is. Would recommend - great pricing.

They had a "Big Deal" in May for 3 hours of housecleaning for $79, and it said they were an "award winning company" ( who decides that??) Since I'd just had a new knee put in and wasn't feeling much like cleaning, I thought it was a good idea. I called and had to leave a message. She called back a couple days later and we ( she actually did) picked a date 3 weeks out, because of the large response to the Big Deal. That date was to be Tues June 5th and she'd start work at 8AM. Well, 8AM came and went and no one showed up or called. I called and left a message about 9AM and no one has ever called me back. That's when I emailed Angies List about getting a refund - and I got it immediately!! I thought I'd have to chase Prestige around for months to get it! Thank you to Angies List for making this problem ALOT less painful than it could have been! Just a foot note: I was complaining to my son about this company and he said HE'D had them come out to clean his house a while back (guess they actually did show up that time!), but they did an awful job, so he has no intention of hiring them again. This wasn't thru Angies List tho.

I could not get in touch with them for a while to redeem a Big Deal coupon. After I finally did get them on the phone and scheduled an appointment, they did not show or respond to my communications afterwards.

My husband and I purchased a carpet-cleaning coupon with Prestige Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery on March 29 through Angie's List. While I didn't call immediately to schedule a cleaning, I found it interesting that our payment went through, but no one from Prestige Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery called our home within in a two-month period to arrange a cleaning appointment. I finally emailed this company 3 days ago to set up a cleaning appointment. When I received no reply to my email, I called two days ago and left a detailed message. No one from Prestige has yet to respond to my phone message. Before I emailed this company, I noticed that a number of other customers had complained about lack of responsiveness and very poor customer service by this company, but I decided to keep an open mind and rely on my own experience before judging the company's performance. Well, this company has received our payment, but they have not responded to my requests for service. We purchased the carpet-cleaning coupon through Angie's List because we understood that Prestige Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery was one of Angie's List's "Award-winning Companies." Given the complaints I've since read, and my own experience this past week trying to contact this company for service that I've already paid for, I don't know how Prestige attained "award-winning" status. I hope Angie's List will help my husband and me to recover our $79.00 fee, and we hope Angie's List will stop advertising "deals" offered by Prestige Carpet-Cleaning and Upholstery.

This was an Angies Big Deal coupon. They were thorough, respectful of our home. The couch looked like new when they were finished.

Great! After three or four weeks, no surprise "seepage" of stains rose to the top. The carpet was just clean, even after gatorade and pet accidents. Dried quickly.

They never got back to me, they were completely unresponsive to my call. The last time I called them their voicemail was full.

I've had the Deal refunded. I started calling on Friday - I emailed them too. I called back Saturday, Monday, & Tuesday. I still have received no response to voice-mails or email. If they’re busy I understand - and made this understanding clear on my voice-mails - but they need to catch up after being out all day & at least return a call.

After the workers arrived, and they continued to argue with the client regarding what work was supposed to be completed with the price that was quoted, the client was told that since they were upset, that they were NOT going to be doing the work, and left. Work not performed, monies paid. Attempted to contact the owners. After multiple attempts, the owner answered the phone. Mrs Owner passed the phone over to Mr owner and continued to argue with client. MR. ?OWNER" OF PRESTIGE CARPET CLEANING & UPHOLSTERY proceeded to threaten MRS Client by screaming into the phone 3 times screaming ?YOU ARE GOING DOWN B****?, "YOU ARE GOING DOWN B****?, ?YOU ARE GOING DOWN B****? We were absolutely stunned that ANYBODY would say such a thing, let alone the OWNER of PRESTIGE CARPET CLEANING & UPHOLSTERY directly to a client. This sort of behavior goes so beyond the normal ?rudeness? of a Company and/or Client. The fact that he would say such a thing directly to a client says a lot about Him and His Company. When I tell this story to people, they cannot believe it themselves and don?t understand how they could still be in business. Initially, when we ordered the service, Mrs. Owner had asked us if we would ?spread the word? throughout the neighborhood of their ?special? going on. We agreed and were more than happy to. Believe me, after this all happened, We have not only shared our outrageous experience with Prestige Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery in New Hope MN with our neighbors, but to everybody who asks what all this is about.

It was good. They came in and they were very nice. In terms of price, I used them for a discount. It was hard to know exactly what their core retail value was. I bought a coupon for $130. In terms of responsiveness, it was hard to get hold of them initially; I think they were over whelmed by their promotion. I would use them again in the future, if I have to.

This is a great company to work with from start to finish. They were easy to get in touch with and very friendly and helpful with explaining why their cleaning method was good. All I can say is that our carpets look great and so does our couch. They also cleaned my mothers carpets in her condo and they are almost white and show stains easily. With other carpet cleaners, the stains at my mom's condo have come back after a couple of weeks. It has been over a month since my mom's carpets were cleaned and none of the stains have come back. I will use this company again!

They were really friendly and they didn’t try to up sell me when they came over. They gave me an estimate over the phone and they charged me over the phone. They are really good and they get all the stains up no matter how deep they are. There was food stains in the den and they were all gone. Patch stains, wine stains and everything was gone.

Prestige Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery came into my home to clean my carpets, wash my windows and clean out my gutters. The staff was extremely friendly and offered me a deal on cleaning my couch and recliner upholstery since they were already in my home. They worked efficiently and extremely thorough. I was very impressed with how clean my carpets were when they were finished, having 2 large dogs in the house my carpets were filthy!! They also washed my windows and cleaned out my gutters for a very reasonable price. I recommend Prestige Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery to anyone who wants thorough, efficient & friendly service at a low cost!!
