I CALLED AND EMAILED THIS BUSINESS NUMEROUS TIMES TO SCHEDULE THE MYDEAL APPOINTMENT. THE BUSINESS NEVER CALLED OR RESPONDED TO MY EMAIL. Fortunately, I did not spend a lot of money on this deal. I'm working with Angie's list to help prevent this from happening to others.

 + 1 moreCarpet cleaning as done March 1. They arrived on time and set right to work. The carpet was cleaned beyond my expectations. It was very dirty in certain areas, and Mike worked h****** it , taking several extra steps to get it cleaner than I could have hoped. The carpet dried quickly, with no sticky residue. Mandy arrived March 9, again on time and got right to work. All cleaning was done to my standards or better. She worked hard the entire 3 hours, and even washed some walls that I mentioned were needing attention. I really appreciated Mike and Mandy. They were both hard workers and eager to please. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. In fact, Mike is coming back later this week to do several carpets for me. I have also recommended them to several friends.
Description of Work: Mike cleaned my very dirty light beige carpet. Mandy cleaned to inside windows and performed general housecleaning in my kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms, foyer, stairs and hallway, and one bedroom.

I explained what I wanted, gave them my name and number and the code for the housecleaning deal. I never heard from them. They never called back either to leave a message or even to say they existed. It was in irritating experience. I still don't even know what the company does, since it doesn't communicate with customers, evidently.

 + -1 moreIt took me and my wife several attempts to contact this service to schedule our housecleaning. The woman who does the cleaning finally called back after about 1 week and scheduled a date to come to our house and clean. She was pleasant and apologized for the delay. About 1 week before the appointment we needed to reschedule. After several attempts by phone and e-mail we were unable to contact the service and we finally gave up and requested a refund from Angie's List. I have no actual experience with the cleaning service. Our impression is that a small company was overwhelmed after posting a "Big Deal" and were unable to respond to the calls. No hard feelings but it just didn't work out.

 + 0 moreI purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $89 for 3 Hours of Housecleaning, PLUS 10 Windows Cleaned and More from Prestige Carpet Cleaning & Upholstery. I spent a month trying to contact them to set up this service. I sent email, called and left messages and even submitted a request through their website. No one ever gotten back to me. Finally, at the end of June I contacted Angie's List who was VERY responsive. They offered to contact the company for me, which they did on June 27th. When two more weeks had gone by and Prestige failed to respond to Angie's List requests, I asked for a refund which Angie's List quickly provided. I am very happy with how Angies List handled this situation but very disappointed at the unprofessionalism displayed by Prestige. I understand they may have been flooded with requests, but even a quick note or phone call saying as much and acknowledging me in some way, would have made a big difference.
Description of Work: None, was supposed to be a housecleaning.

We tried to call them 5 times (from two different phone numbers), tried to email them half a dozen times, and never got a response or a call back--with one exception. After the first email we got a reply asking if we had a voucher, we said yes, and then never heard from them again. Their listing here says that they reply to emails within two business hours. We were simply trying to schedule a time for the service we had already purchased. I even emailed them begging for a response, saying that I understood that they might be very busy, but we just wanted some confirmation that they were getting our messages, since they most assuredly had our money. No reply came. I'll go with someone else who is more responsive and comes more highly recommended from Angie's List.
Description of Work: No service was performed--we pre-payed, and they never got back to us to schedule our cleaning appointment.

 + -1 moreWas so excited to purchase 3 hours of housecleaning for $79, and was planning to schedule it right before my son's grad party, as this would be one less for thing for me to have to worry about. After over 3 weeks of trying almost daily to contact service provider (via email and voicemail) with no response whatsoever, I finally had to contact Angie's List for a refund. :( So, no service was provided, no response/explanation from provider. Really, really a shame, as my home is very close to service provider, and I would have happily given them repeat business, if only they had handled this professionally.

Description of Work: I got a email from Daily Deals through Entertainment.com for a deal on carpet cleaning 5 rooms cleaned normally $350 for $149. I signed up for the deal and paid for it. I contacted Prestige and we set up the appt. for early in May. However, on the day before the appt. I got a call from Prestige saying their truck was broke down and in the shop. They said they had to set up a appt for latter in the month and I set it up for May 29th. I expected a call before Memorial Day weekend but got none. I expected a call on the morning of the 29th but I recieved no call. I called them myself to see if they were coming since I had the house ready for the carpets to be cleaned. I got the voice mail and left a message. I waited all morning for a call and no call recieved. I had set up the appt. for 1 PM and no one showed up for the appt so I called at 1:15PM and got voicemail again. I told them I was not happy and to please call me and let me know what is going on but waited all week for a call and nothing. I even went to their website and left a complaint and they still did not contact me. As of this date I have yet to here from them. I have called them to but just get their voicemail. Terrible customer service would never go with them again. I did get my money back through Daily Deals so I am happy about that.
