I would recommend Mohawk without reservation. Mohawk did a first rate job on my move from Minneapolis to Ohio. The back office staff were professional and responsive and the movers on both sides were friendly, experienced, punctual and very professional. They moved a valuable piano for me without incident. The estimator was very prompt and easy to work with. The driver arrived on time for pickup and delivery. The driver was very conscientious, thorough, and courteous. I was very anxious about the Piano and Organ but verything arrived in good shape with no known damage. There was some damage to the wood flooring at destination caused by one of the helpers. The claim for repair was received and paid with no delay. A representative called several times to check on the progress and our satisfaction with the move. We were told the credit card number I gave them would not be charged until the move was complete, but it was charged before the move. This led to some confusion as the driver was expecting c.o.d but the card had already been charged. We would definitely use Mohawk Moving and Storage.

They came up and picked up furniture from two different households. They were friendly and did their job correctly.

Rita our sales person was fantastic and responsive and her estimate was right on. Mohawk dropped off more boxes for us before the move, as we kept needing more. Move day a great team arrived and started working straight away. They fell a bit behind schedule, but they were so great and worked so hard we did not mind-- they could not have moved any faster. We did have a few damages (a scratch in the floor a lamp and a side table), small things that less than 24 hours after the move were already in process of being repaired by Mohawk. In the end, we had 4 great guys for over nine hours, all the supplies and service we could wish for, and a great price of 1300. We would hire them again.

The estimate process was all automated for quick, accurate results. They were very flexible with being able to provide services of storage overnight without a huge fee. Everyone was friendly, prompt, professional and careful with my items.

Overall great. Initial evaluator inventoried all belongings, giving us a binding estimate, which was our first criteria for choosing a mover. Mohawk sent 3 individuals to pack our home, taking them 8 hrs to accomplish. Very careful with our belongings, everything packed very well, nothing broken. Next day, driver came with 3 individuals from the Twin Cities to load truck. All 4 of them were extremely careful with our belongings and our home, padding doorways and covering floors, very pleasant to be around. This took them 11 hrs to do, since our Mpls home is old and difficult to maneuver through. They were hot and tired and worked very hard. Driver was able to give an EXACT date and time of arrival in VT and kept in touch via cell before arrival in VT. The driver was expecting 3 indiduals to help unload but only 2 came and they were an hour late. This caused the unloaders to have to work harder and longer, resulting in a 10 hr day. At the end of the day, however, all furniture was assembled and boxes in appropriate rooms of our new home, everything accounted for.

First of all let me say we were overall extremely satisfied. Our move was complicated because we had a pick up in 2 locations with a specific date we needed to be out of 1 of the locations. The driver could not pick up the load the date we needed it, but picked it up the next morning. After a few phone calls to various people (rental agency etc.) we were able to negotiate staying an extra day. The move out of that apartment was difficult as it was on the 2nd story and the driver & helper were fabulous. The load in Minnetonka got picked up & brought to the warehouse and the trucker picked that up on the way to Michigan. This was a fabulous driver and well worth the extra effort on our part to change our dates. He was extremely organized & helpful in organizing the furniture on the other end. This is the 2nd time I've used this company & will use them again for my next move. Even though I was frazzled, they calmly addressed my concerns and it all worked out in the end. We only had an estimate on the cost of the load by us giving them box sizes etc. and the price estimated was slightly lower than what it ended up to be, but that was understandable as we added & subtracted boxes etc. from the initial estimate.

Excellent!! I have used Mohawk Moving several times before with great results so I got back in touch with Rita Nelson (account executive) and made the necessary arrangements for an initial estimate. I also requested that Phil Johnson's crew handle the move since his guys are courteous, accomodating and always very careful packing / handling my belongings. Thanks to Devon and Joe for the Indianapolis superb packing / loading services.... and thanks to Devon, Joe and Keith for the wonderful Minneapolis unloading services!!

It was excellent from start to finish. Ron (salesperson) and Amanda (coordinator) were very nice, easy to work with and always available for questions etc. We have a moving crew of 5 guys who were awesome. They contract for Mohawk and owner has been in moving for 21 years. His crew of 4 were great and watching them all was amazing. They have it down to a science and a fast, efficient, very careful and seem to have so much fun.

There was no stopping them. There were things that I didn't know were physically possible that they were able to get up the staircase. We have a long drive way and rather than doing the easy thing and pull the truck up on it, to avoid causing problems with the drive way they called an extra guy and literally jogged back and forth from the truck bringing things in. They did a good job.

I was really happy with Mowhawk Moving and Storage. There was no stopping these workers. They did a good job. We have a long driveway and rather then driving the truck up on it they called an extra worker to run back and forth from the truck with items. They did not want to damage the pavement with the weight of the truck.

Fabulous! Ron Dvoracek was very punctual in submitting the bid to me & the follow up from the office was quick. He explained the insurance options, possible extra costs if I chose to have the items not delivered immediately etc. He did tell me that, because of the economy, he wasn't sure when the next shipment would be to California & because my shipment was small, it would need to go with another shipment. He said the worst case scenario would be 2 weeks, The shipment was delivered in 9 days, which was impressive because the Thanksgiving holiday was in there. They picked up the shipment with a huge crew, who were very respectful of the carpeting/walls etc and very careful. Though I insisted they could leave their shoes on (I am having my carpets replaced), they still took them off. In CA they had 2 men deliver the crew and they still worked efficiently and had the load up to the apt. in an hour. It was all there, and nothing was damaged. Fabulous job.

Excellent, every step of the process. I was very anxious about things that might go wrong but it turned out the only thing I had to concern myself with was being 8 1/2 months pregnant, which of course was not the fault of anyone at Mohawk. All the guys were professional, efficient, and unbelievably strong! The salesperson returned every phone call and answered questions within the business day. The movers checked and double checked everything before leaving old house, checked with me to make sure all large items were where I wanted in new house, I got 3 phone calls from the office to make sure everything was going well, and then the bill was substantially LESS than the estimate! The whole experience was above and beyond what we expected and we would use them again in a heartbeat. I only hope I tipped them adequately because I've never met harder workers in my life.

THE CREW FOR THIS MOVE WAS FANTASTIC. IT WENT MUCH FASTER THAN EXPECTED, AND ACTUALLY CAME IN UNDER ESTIMATE. THEY HAD TO LIFT SOME HEAVY THINGS, INCLUDING A 600 LB. CABINET, AND DID ALL OF THIS WHILE SEEMING HAPPY TO HELP. THEIR ATTITUDE WAS GREAT AND I'D USE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. A FEW THINGS WERE BROKEN, BUT NOTHING TERRIBLY IMPORTANT, AND I DID ALL THE PACKING.

OUR OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. MOHAWK NEGOTIATED ON PRICE BY MATCHING A LOCAL COMPETITOR'S ESTIMATE FOR STORAGE COSTS AND FREE MOVING BOXES. MOHAWK PROVIDED A ''GUARANTEED PRICE QUOTE'' RATHER THAN THEIR STANDARD HOURLY QUOTE. ALL FURNISHINGS ARRIVED IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE MOVERS WERE VERY POLITE AND WORKED DILIGENTLY TO PACK THE TRUCK. THE MOVERS WERE, UNFORTUNATELY, 1-HOUR LATE ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE MOVE (THEY ''GOT LOST''), HOWEVER, THEY DID ARRIVE ON-TIME TO DELIVER AND UNLOAD THE TRUCK. ONE OF THE MOVERS APPARENTLY TOOK A CLOSET HANGING-ROD FROM OUR OLD RESIDENCE TO USE IN A WARDROBE BOX. WE NOTICED THE ROD MISSING AFTER THEY LEFT AND LATER FOUND IT WHEN UNPACKING. WE WERE TOLD ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE THAT OUR 2-YEAR OLD'S HANGING CLOTHES SHOULD BE PACKED RATHER THAN PLACED IN A WARDROBE. DESPITE THOSE FEW GLITCHES, MOHAWK OFFERED A FAIR PRICE, WAS EFFICIENT, CAREFUL WITH OUR BELONGS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GOOD, I WOULD RECOMMEND MOHAWK TO OTHERS.

WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH MOHAWK MOVING AND STORAGE FROM THE TIME MR. BOB KANE GAVE US THE COST ESTIMATE. THE LOADING CREW ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME. ONE AND A HALF HOURS LATER, THE TRUCK WAS LOADED. THE DRIVER, GARY, KEPT IN TOUCH BY CELL PHONE ALL THE WAY TO MESQUITE AND RELAYED HIS LOCATION AND PROGRESS. IT TOOK SEVERAL HOURS TO UNLOAD THE TRUCK AND THERE WERE ONLY TWO PEOPLE TO HANDLE ALL THAT WE SHIPPED. WE LOST ONLY ONE ITEM, WHICH WAS NOT ALL THAT IMPORTANT, AND THE DRIVER MADE SURE I WAS HAPPY WITH THE SOLUTION. THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED ON OUR MOVE WERE PROFESSIONAL ALL THE WAY.

GAVE US A GREAT PRICE ON THIS SMALL SHIPMENT. VERY PLEASED!

THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, WERE INCREDIBLY FLEXIBLE AND HELPFUL. THE MOVERS WHO CAME TO PICK UP MY STUFF AND DROP OFF MY STUFF WERE ALL VERY KIND AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE EVERYTHING GO AS SMOOTHLY AS POSSIBLE. THEY ALSO CALLED ME RIGHT AFTER PICKUP AND DELIVERY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WENT OK AND GAVE ME UPDATES AS MY GOODS MADE THEIR WAY ACROSS THE COUNTRY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
