Description of Work: Remove sub floor wood and tile small bathroom floor-I had already removed vanity and stool and old vinyl- communication was poor resulting in delays-tile installer didn't show up the day we expected him- found it wasn't full service- we were sent to the store to try to find tile pieces and grout- I bought 3 bags to see if the color would work- also had to try to find parts to add to base when I was told they would use tile I had to replace 3 cracked tiles on wall- I said I preferred white grout to match white grout on the wall pieces- installer said he liked to use same color as floor- looked bad and they came back and painted the grout- I am still trying to get the grout off my door frames and have been trying to get the edges caulked which I realize was part of the service with previous bathroom tile jobs at my home

Description of Work: Owner came out the day after we bought the coupon on Angie's List to estimate the job. He was very prompt and explained exactly what was going to be done. The work was scheduled for the following week. They re-caulked bathtub and sealed the tile grout. Excellent craftsmanship!

Description of Work: I had a small amount of wallboard water damage near the floor outside my walk in shower. Zenon P. came out promptly and identified the problem as poorly a installed shower liner under the shower floor tile. He recommended completely tearing out the floor tile, curb and lowest level of shower tile all around the enclosure and installing a new liner with appropriate seals and all new tile. Total cost between #1,100 - $3,000. The shower was only 8 years old. I was reluctant to do such an invasive repair and decided to accept a bid to regrout the affected areas from another vendor for $425. who felt his repair would solve the problem. I may regret doing this, but felt I would start with a limited repair and proceed to the more costly one if the present doesn't repair doesn't hold up. If I decide to do the more invasive repair, I would strongly consider Zenon's firm.

Description of Work: Zenon had many good ideas, and suggestions for my bathroom remodel. His tile setter does impeccable work, everything was perfect at the end of the job.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for two hours of kitchen calking and grout restoration. The technician, Zenon, came over and he was very nice. However, he provided me with a quote for about $600 to re-do all of the grout. I explained to him that I had only wanted to have the work done provided through the deal. He said that I would have to remove the grout in the areas we needed then he could complete the cleaning and put in new grout. He said that he would follow up with me, but I never heard back him.

Description of Work: They re-grouted the shower, replaced a few tiles, and 'fixed' the cracking grout on the floor. The shower re-grout was okay, except they should have replaced more tiles than they did. The floor job was fine until three weeks later when the new grout on the floor started cracking again. They were responsive at first, came out to the house and offered to re-grout the cracking tile again. Obviously, wasn't going to fix the problem, so we asked how much it would cost to replace all of it. We got a verbal bid that seemed really high. We asked for a paper estimate detailing the costs, but never received one or any other contact since. I think it was a mistake to him to re-grout the floor tile in the first place. I also think any professional shop should provide customers with detailed estimates before doing any work. It's too bad this didn't work out because the guy seemed very nice,and we wanted to work with them. Perhaps this was just one bad experience and others have been happy. They did have good reviews when we hired them.
