Jeff Anderson was a pleasure to work with. He returned calls promptly, was professional and kept things on track. Because I live in an historic district, Jeff assisted me with the approval process from the Historic Preservation Commission. Once I received approval, Jeff promptly scheduled the date. All went well and was completed in a day as Jeff indicated.

Well. He was punctual and very nice. Their estimate was very detailed, but the price was just too high compared to others

This was a job covered by home owners insurance due to hail damage. The Les Jones rep worked with the insurance company adjuster to arrive at a mutually agreeable fair market price. There were four different crews (Shingles, copper work, gutters and paint). The scheduling of the various crews was good with me and the crews were punctual and professional.

They offered prompt service. They were reasonably priced. They were very professional workers. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They were very friendly and easy to deal with.

The people who did the estimates showed up on time. They also walked me through each step of the process and laid out a number of possibilities for fixing the roof. Told me that the estimate would arrive within a week and they delivered on that promise. I then called them back and asked them to remove the garage edition from the estimate and they responded within a day. I was very impressed with their professionalism and they promptness.

I received estimates from 4 roofers and Les Jones was in the middle. They used GAF/ELK products. Crew of 7 (6 roofers and 1 clean up) arrived at 7 AM and they completed the job shortly after 6PM. They protected my home, property and landscaping from damage. Overall they did a good job and I pleased with the result. I had 3 areas of concern. First;they did not remove all of the prior roofing materials on the small porch section of the home. They left this section until the end of the day and they cut some corners. Second; post job completion their response time was very slow. I sent an email with a photo of the roof where I had questions and I still haven't received a response. Third;I never received confirmation that a permit was pulled.

This is a very professional outfit. Everyone from the estimator to the crew really knows roofing. Our installation was done as promised and turned out beautifully. The crew as professional, polite, and respectful of the customer. Couldn't be happier.

I would recommend them in the future.

It was a very pleasant experience. They came out three or four times to look at the roof before they worked. They did it all in one day. They cleaned up well after themselves.

They came to look at the roof and gave us an estimate. We chose another roofer that was cheaper.

Although I ended up going with another contractor for the job, Steve offered a competitive bid and offered a lot of useful advice during this stage of the process. He was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider Les Jones for future roofing jobs.

I called several companies who wouldn't do small repair jobs. The roof job had been done by carpenters who worked for the construction co. who put an addition on the back of the house. Les Jones sent someone out pretty quickly and he gave me a written bid that seemed satisfactory. Winter was closing in and the first day they came to do the repair they had to postpone. They came the next day and sealed nail holes and extended the valleys. After the next rain, the roof leaked again. They came and caulked under the flashing. Once more it rained; this time the leak was in a different place. And it was easier to see where it was coming from this time. They went under the siding around a dormer and found deteriorating sheathing. They replaced it and caulked it. We had one rain after that and it didn't seem to leak. No extra charge for this and I felt given that it wasn't their job, that they did a good job.

We bid 4 companies and went with Les because the sales guy, Steve had great knowledge as well as the site coordinator, Jason. We were willing to pay a bit extra for professionalism. It was worth it. Pedro was an incredible worker. He and the crew stayed late to finish the work. They listened to my concerns and gave great information about our roof system while tearing off. Jason and I inspected the roof area. It made me feel at ease that the project was the thing to do and that it will last longer than I will own the home. When I have called the office, their staff makes me feel like a valued customer versus a first time job. The warranty gives me piece of mind, as well as being in business since 1981. Too bad they don't do other types of work, as I would hire them for other projects.

Their salesman was extremely helpful to us, but in the end we chose another contractor whose price was better.

They did a good a job, got everything done within a couple of days and cleaned up very well. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dick came over at the appointed time to give an estimate. From the location of the water stains, he thought it was most likely household humidity issues during the winter. He crawled through the attic and also walked to the roof and confirmed it there weren't any actual roof leaks. He told me to get a humidistat for the winter ($30-$40 at Target) to know when control the humidity in the winter and told me how to remove the stains on the ceiling with bleach/water mixture. He then showed me the areas on the ceiling where there would most likely be water damage if the roof leaked. He did point out the humidity issue is fraying the plywood in the attic but that I should delay replacing at long I could - ideally when roof needs to be replaced. All this advice at no charge! I hope I'll never have to have my roof replaced, but if I do I'll definitely be calling them again.

Immediate and friendly service. They were knowledgeable.

These guys are great. We did have a problem when they were hauling away the debris from a tear-off, which damaged our deck. To their credit, they called us immediately, admitted what had happened, then worked hard to make it right. This involved several trips back to repair the damage. It was better customer service than I've seen in years. It's not how you screw up, it's how you fix it that matters to us.

I was happy to get the roof fixed properly. They repaired my roof while we were out of town.

JONES HIMSELF CALLED US BACK PROMPTLY AND ASSIGNED THE ESTIMATE TO DICK, WHO CAME OUT TO LOOK AT OUR ROOF. DICK WAS FRIENDLY, SEEMED VERY COMPETENT, SOUNDED CONCERNED ABOUT DOING GOOD WORK. SPOKE WITH PRIDE OF COMPANY'S LONG-TERM EMPLOYEES. PRESENTED REASONABLE IDEAS FOR DEALING WITH THE PROBLEM. BECAUSE WE WERE IN A RATHER URGENT SITUATION, HE SAID HE WOULD TRY TO FAX A BID TO US THE NEXT DAY. AT THE END OF THAT DAY WE CALLED HIM AND WERE TOLD HE THOUGHT THE BID HAD GONE OUT IN THE MAIL. CALLED THE OFFICE THE NEXT DAY TO ASK WHETHER IT COULD BE FAXED AFTER ALL, BUT THEY SAID IT HADN'T BEEN TYPED UP YET AND THEY COULDN'T FIND A ROUGH DRAFT OF IT. THEY HAD DICK CALL US BACK. HE SAID IT WOULD BE DELAYED ANOTHER DAY BECAUSE ANOTHER EMPLOYEE HAD MADE ERRORS ON IT. BY THAT POINT WE HAD COMMITTED TO ANOTHER COMPANY. WOULD CONSIDER HIRING JONES IN THE FUTURE BUT WOULD PROBABLY ASK FOR AN ESTIMATOR WHO WOULD GIVE US MORE ACCURATE INFO ABOUT THE PROGRESS OF OUR BID OR JOB.

ROOF VENT BROKEN DURING A TREE TRIMMING ACCIDENT. CALLED LES JONES IN RESPONSE TO STELLAR PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE. HE QUOTED ME $200-250 AND WAS BILLED THE LOW SIDE, $200. EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, PERSONABLE, AND GREAT TO WORK WITH.

DICK ESTIMATED WITHIN A DAY AND AGREED TO COME OUT WITHIN THE WEEK (WEATHER PERMITTING). EXTREMELY COURTEOUS, PROMPT, AND REASONABLE. I RECEIVED QUOTES FROM SEVERAL OTHERS WHO WOULD NOT EVEN TAKE THE JOB UNLESS I AGREED TO ADDITIONAL WORK - TOO SMALL OF JOB FOR MOST ROOFERS.

PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THEM RECOMMENDED A REROOF, AND SAID THEY WOULD GET ESTIMATES TO US PROMPTLY. WE RECEIVED THREE OF THOSE ESTIMATES WITHIN THREE DAYS AND PROCEEDED TO CHECK REFERENCES AND HIRE SOMEONE. A WEEK LATER THE ESTIMATE FROM LES JONES SHOWED UP. THEIR PRICE WAS ALSO THE HIGHEST. ASIDE FROM THE LATENESS IN RECEIVING THE ESTIMATE, THE EXPERIENCE WAS OK, BUT WE PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE HIRE THEM ANYWAY DUE TO THE HIGH PRICE.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS DONE A WONDERFUL JOB FOR US. NICE GUYS TO WORK WITH. THEY SOLVED THE ROOFING PROBLEM! WE HAD THEM OUT LAST YEAR TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT OUR ORIGINAL ROOFER TOTALLY IGNORED.

VERY SOLID JOB, EXCELLENT CLEAN-UP. CANT FIND A NAIL IN THE YARD OR DRIVEWAY. DUMPSTER ARRIVED AND REMOVED PRECISELY WHEN SCHEDULED. ALL-IN-ALL, A TOP NOTCH EXPERIENCE. NOTE: I FOUND IT INTERESTING THAT MY REAL ESTATE AGENT SUGGESTED LES JONES INSTEAD OF ANOTHER WELL KNOWN COMPANY, WHO I WAS GOING TO CONTRACT WITH.
