Les Jones Roofing personnel were on time, did quality work and were easy to work with. They offered good suggestions / solutions to resolve age-old drainage problems.

The crew arrived promptly and stayed until the job was done. Looks great and we haven't had a leak since. They only issue we had was with their responsiveness. It took them a while to call back with scheduling information, and there was a lot of confusion over installing some heat cables to prevent ice dams. Apparently they'd scheduled it to be done when we hadn't even agreed to it yet. It seems they have some internal communications to work out. Otherwise great job.

Several years ago, Les Jones installed a $35,000 cedar shake roof with zinc strips (for moss protection). The strips came loose and twisted over time (wrong nails). Called Les Jones and they called back to set up an appointment to correct the problem without charge. They did a great job on the original roof, and came back to correct the problem several years after the installation. They standby their work and are responsive. I would recommend them.

They were timely and the work was done correctly. Every member of the company I worked with was great. I would recommend them to anyone needing any kind of roofing work.

My EDPM flat roof over the garage was replaced approximately 13 years ago, and over the past couple of years we were beginning to get small amounts of leakage into the garage from it. It started around the outside edges, and last fall it began dripping between the spancrete slabs onto the cars and everything else. With the rainy spring we had, the situation was intolerable. I had used Les Jones about a year ago to repair some small damage on the main roof from a fallen tree, and that repair was well done. Since they specialize in EDPM, I called them out to look at the problem over the garage. Dick came out and did a survey ... which wasn't too easy because the roof over the garage also doubles as out patio off the living room and is covered in 12" by 24" concrete pavers. So, Dick took a quick look in the garage, then proceeded to the patio where he quickly found a seam in the EDPM that looked suspicious. He had to pull up a few pavers, then the insulation board beneth that in order to get down to the EDPM layer. He found the seam to be incorrectly done by the previous installers (was NOT Les Jones, BTW) and said the leak was more than likely coming from that. I got the quote a few days later, and then scheduled the work. The workers arrived promptly and began to remove three rows of pavers and the insulating boards to get to the seam. Once they were down to the EDPM layer, you could se where the original seam in the roof was improperly done, and had pulled apart in a 7 foot section by about an inch, exposing the lower insulation and allowing water to run into the garage. The area was cleaned and a proper seam was applied. They also came back and recaulked around the perimeter of the deck as well. So far, no more leaks!!!! Now the cars stay dry in a downpour, and withstood the pressure washing I did on the pavers this past weekend which flooded the deck with water!!! No complaints at all ........ job well done!!!

While I did not end up using Les Jones to re-roof my house, they provided the estimate quickly and professionally. I would consider them again for roofing needs.

They were professional and I was happy with the completion of their actual work but I felt a little like I was not real important to them. But then again, my work was a small job and there was several recent rainstorms in the area. It just took a longer than expected for them to return phone calls, the mailing of the formal quote and to get the work scheduled and completed. Also, Since I was having several small things done, they agreed to bill me as Time & Materials. They sent two guys and from the moment they arrived to the time they drove away was just under 90 minutes (3 Man/hours) but I was charged for 5 hours labor. And I was charged an (in my opinion) expensive trip charge, even thought I was supposed to be the 1st appointment of the day and I live less than 1.5 miles away from their office. I would probably consider using them again but I would differently get additional quotes this time.

Great job. We did the project in November; we wanted to get it done before the snow came. And they did it. They were a nice crew; they were clean, quiet, and polite. The crew chief answered all of my questions. The crew subcontracts with Les Jones, who said they have used the same crew for a long time, with high satisfaction levels from all of their customers.

Our roof received hail damage and needed to be replaced. We received bids from 3 contractors and decided to go with Les Jones Roofing. They did an excellent job and my wife and I were very impressed with the quality of work and especially the care the crew took with our property. The guys worked very hard and still cleaned up every inch of the property every evening. I am not an expert on cedar shingle roofs but this looks darn good. There are some pretty steep pitches and unusual dormers that turned out just great. Based on the bid comparisons Les Jones pricing was very competitive and we are very happy with our decision to go with them.

I employed them for a small repair on a small roof section. I hired on a time and materials basis. I t was done promptly. Good job.

Started on time and finished on time. Crew was friendly and hard working. Project manager was attentive and solved problems well.

The salesman worked fairly hard for us picking out colors and the skylight. The roofing crew were hard workers. They worked until dark the first day and finished the next morning (Its a big hipped roof with a lot of sections). They spread out huge tarps next to the house to catch all the waste and protect our plants. They cleaned up the yard very well. I really like our new roof, and a 10 year warranty from a big roofing company is a plus. One minor mistake, they left some unused materials in our yard. We had to call Les Jones to come get it. They promptly did.

We spoke with someone in the office, and she said the estimator would call us to get more details on the project. That never happened. Instead, the estimator came to our house when we weren't home -- without telling us he would be coming -- and looked at the roof. Then he sent us a bid for replacing the roof but not for the skylights. We called him to ask him to add pricing for skylights to the bid, and he said he would do that, but we never received an updated bid. The bid for the roof did seem professional and informative and was provided quickly.

Extremely punctual and professional at initial appt to review the project in order to provide bid. Bid was provided and work scheduled on timely basis. Workers showed up exactly on time, were very thorough, professional, and cleaned up to perfection. I ran and got some mothballs to put in the problem areas to help deter future problems - they were supportive and did everything to my satisfaction and standards. We have an extensive cedar roof, steep, high with multiple hips and valleys. They went over entire roof and addressed every gap or area where animals had done some damage or might be attracted to in the future. Flawless work on replacement of fascia, etc. I have had trouble finding someone to repair my cedar roof - roofers tend to only be interested in full replacements, carpenters/handymen only provided 'bandaid' fixes and did not properly address the construction gaps that were attracting wildlife. I was very happy to find Les Jones Roofing. Price seemed a little high, but you get what you pay for. I probably wasted as much nickle and diming the problem with carpenters. This time I know the work was done right and it was money well spent. There was not a single frustration encountered from start to finish. Very pleased.

Steve was extremely patient in the materials selection process. The price was well below other bids for the exact same service and materials. The team arrived on time, informed us of the progress and schedule each day, and cleaned up nicely every day. Luke was always easily reachable and flexible about meeting with me to discuss any issues. Steve followed up after they finished tying up some loose ends. The people at the business office were also very pleasant.

I called on 8/19/11 and made an appointment for 8/26/11. Dick was on time. He said we didn't need a new roof now. He examined the roof and recommended some minor repairs. He also gave us advice on what type of roof to get when we need to replace the roof. Received the estimate the following week. I called him on 10/04 to clarify info. in the written estimate. He returned my call the same day. We mailed in the signed contract on 10/10. I called re: scheduling on 10/17. On 10/18, Dick told me the work would probably be done the following week and that I would be called by the scheduler in a couple of days. The workmen showed up on 10/22. I only knew they were here because I heard them on the roof. I had to ask them to move their truck which was parked in the neighbor's driveway. I left a message for Dick saying I wasn't notified they were coming; he did not return my call. The work was completed per the estimate but the communication should have been better.
