Kris Lindahl

We contacted Kris on a recommendation from a friend. He had helped her and her husband purchase their house. We were new to the area, so we were looking for a realtor. The house we were interested in buying was likely a realtor's nightmare. It was a short sale, with multiple mortgages and liens. Kris was a short sale specialist (unbeknownst to us at the time), and took the time to walk us through the whole process from start to finish. I felt he was honest with us, told us the pros and cons, didn't sugar coat anything, and kept us constantly in the loop (even when there might not be news to report). My wife and I greatly appreciated that level of communication, dedication and expertise. I still can hardly believe we ended up with this house, and I feel 100% confident saying we wouldn't have if it weren't for Kris. Professional, knowledgable and most of all, a tireless hard-worker.

My wife and I hired Kris to help us find a home near her sister. Kris was great to work with from the very start of the near 8 month process. He didn't just find houses for us to look at (which anybody with an internet connection can do just fine) he did in depth searches to find houses that fit our budget, had the features we wanted and were in our price range. When we constantly changed what it was we wanted he patiently helped us work through our often conflicting ideas to land on homes that we could truly love. His true expertise didn't come out until we went to make an offer though. As anyone trying to buy a foreclosure knows it is often a complete mess and all reason is left at the door. Kris displayed a truly in depth understanding of how the entire process works and was able to help us make sense of it all. He came to the rescue again when we started having trouble getting financing. I would highly recommend Kris (and have already) to anyone looking to buy or sell their home, especially if they are in a tough situation. He clearly understands real estate as it is now, instead of how it was prebust.

I know I wasn't the easiest of clients for Kris. We started looking at houses in 2009, but after some time i realized I wasn't ready to purchase yet. He never pressured me or gave up on me as a client. Instead he let me know that when the time was right, we could once again start looking. He set up emails for me in the areas I was interested in and in my price range. So even while we weren't actively searching I could keep an eye on the market. In late 2010 I found a house on one of his emails that seemed too good to be true. I called him and we were looking at it that night. I loved the house and we wrote an offer 3 days later. After my offer was accepted we found out my entire basement needed to be ripped out and redone. Rather than throwing in the towel, Kris found me a loan that allowed me to wrap the cost of the remodel into my mortgage. I bought the house and I couldn't be happier. Kris answered all my calls right away, he talked me off the ledge when I started to get cold feet and what I appreciated the most, he was honest with me through the whole process. I can't wait to buy another house with Kris down the road. I would absolutely (and have) recommend him to anyone I know looking to buy or sell a home. Even to this day, 7 months after I've closed on my house, Kris stays in touch to make sure everything is in working order. He is the picture of professionalism and I consider myself fortunate to call him my real estate agent and friend.
