 + -1 moreThe men did a great job despite miserable conditions in which they worked. It was pouring rain. The effectiveness of the work was seen immediately during the downpour as the water was freely shunted off via the french drain. They were on time, knowledgable and efficient. I received better information on the scope of the project from Kevin than any others that bid on the job. He is knowledgable, practical and I am very pleased with the work. Thanks!
Description of Work: Re-grade the south west side of the yard to the house for better drainage. Remove excess dirt from re-grading. Install 50 feet of french drain along the southwest and south sides to run water away from the house. Includes tubing with sock and gravel.

 + -1 moreKevin was spectacular. He came out and gave a bid the same day. His bid was lower than the other excavator I contacted. Kevin answered the phone every time I called and was a good listener/communicator. He worked around my schedule to get the job done. He did his work quickly but of great quality. Kevin seems to care going the extra mile. He removed alot of underground obstructions as he went. He is one of the few heavy machinery operators who spends a decent amount of time off the machine and doing hand work to ensure all the details are hit and done right. I thought his price was great and well worth the amount of back-breaking work he prevented... plus he helped me avoid having to get a costly dumpster to get rid of my concrete. Lastly, Kevin seems like a great guy that cares about his customers which is especially refreshing these days. There is no doubt in my mind who I will be calling next time. Thanks Kevin!
Description of Work: Kevin performed the following services: (1) hauled away 10+ yards of concrete from a walkway I knocked out, (2) dug out 15 feet of concrete (which was 6 inches wide and 1.5+ feet deep) from my backyard , (3) removed existing turf and regraded back yard, and (4) delivered 2 yards of black dirt.

 + 0 moreKevin was the best. He was very responsive and clear about his cost. The best price ever! He did the whole job in one day. Left everything pretty clean. He is amazing handling his bobcat. I did recommend him to other friends! I will definitely hire him again if needed.
Description of Work: Kevin was great. I was doing a patio (20 x 18) on my backyard and had a lot sod and dirt. Kevin came with his bobcat, removed and hauled everything. He also excavated, leveled and brought all the materials (sand, aggregate and rocks more than 6 tons) from my driveway to my backyard). After that, he compacted the materials and placed the sand on the top. To finish the job, he used an auger to drill 8 holes for my future deck.

 + 0 moreKEVIN WAS AMAZING WITH THE BACK-HOE. HE WORKED IN A VERY SMALL BACK YARD WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME FOR THE NEXT CONTRACTORS TO BEGIN.
Description of Work: KEVIN COMPLETED THE FOLLOWING WORK ON OUR LOT: REMOVED GARAGE BLOCK AND FOOTINGS, HAULED IT AWAY. EXCAVATED NEW ADDITION AND GARAGE FOOTINGS, TOOK OUT APPROXIMATELY 80 CUBIC YARDS OF SAND AND BACKFILLED THE SITE WITH SAND AND BLACK DIRT.
