It went as well as could be expected. It was a difficult job requiring lots of hard labor and it was done right.

Received Kevin's name from a co-worker. Contacted Kevin - he scheduled a time to meet, and was very punctual. He took time to walk through what I had in mind, took notes and made suggestions when appropriate. Gave estimate before he left. Also made it clear that it would be 4 weeks before he could do the job. He called at about 4 weeks out and let me know that because of the weather, he was running 2 weeks behind. Offered me the name of another contractor that could do the work sooner. Stayed with his company. He showed up on the date he committed to do the work. Prior to work began, he walked through the notes to confirm what was to be done, and how it was to be done. Work was completed on time and flawlessly. Cost was equal to the initial quote.

Kevin came out on Tuesday to give me an estimate and came back on Friday to do the work. He thought of a way to save me several hundred dollars by burying the landscape rock in a large hole at the far back of my lot (which always has drainage issues anyway) and then using the dirt from the hole to level out the area where the crushed rock had been. This saved me the cost of hauling all of that rock. He did a simply beautiful job, especially with the final re-grading of the yard. As others have remarked, he is like a surgeon with the Bobcat -- fun to watch. He came first thing in the morning, worked steadily all day, and finished in one day for an extremely reasonable price. He's prompt, professional, and courteous with a good sense of humor. I appreciate the fact that he actively looks for ways to save me money. He has done work for me before and I would hire him again in an instant.

They did a good job. We were satisfied with them. They did the right job. He was very punctual. He came on time. There was no damage at all. I think they could have been a little more affordable. They were not the best, but they were okay.

Kev responded immediately to my call, and came soon after. After our roof had been shoveled clear of 3-4 feet of snow (with ice dams), we had huge piles of snow too close to the foundation for comfort. With his heavy equipment, he removed all of it and had it trucked away; it cost a little more than originally bid, but that's because he had to find (and pay for) a dump for the snow. Although we'll have some lawn repair to do in the Spring, we have no doubt that he saved us from serious basement water damage. He did more than we wanted, and even widened the street in front of our home!

He called me while he was on vacaction. He is a great and very friendly. He understands his business and understood what needed to be done and explained it to me. His cost was very reasonable.

Working with Kevin went very well. I called three different companies - and each gave a variety of approaches and a variety of costs. During this proposal and estimation process, Kevin was very open with us about what his company could do and even suggested other companies that we should seek out for further opinions and estimates. We liked Kevin's approach the best for its simplicity and cost. He said he would remove and set aside the landscaping rock, then excavate. He explained in detail how many people would be working on-site and with what equipment. He described how he would use a bobcat and get it to the work area without damaging the lawn. He explained that he would inspect and repair the foundation wall, then seal it with tar with two coats, then return the dirt and grade it away from the house, and finally return the landscaping rock. Everything went almost exactly according to plan. Once he had the foundation and wall exposed, he recommended flashing from the foundation to the start of the siding to provide additional protection. He picked out some flashing for us and installed it. He was careful to explain exactly what he would do and what our options were and what the additional costs were (the additional costs were minimal). Also - Kevin is like a surgeon with the bobcat. The work area was immediately next to a large picture window. I watched as he operated the bobcat to dig out next to the foundation and was impressed with his efficiency and accuracy. When Kevin finished - he returned the landscaping rock to its original position. It all looked better than before. There was not a even a scratch on the lawn from the bobcat. It took only two days - and I believe that was mainly to give the repairs to the foundation time to set and then for the tar seal to dry.

Kev was responsive and knowledgeable. I felt his prices were reasonable and I love that he took extra steps to clean up my yard and leave things looking nice.

Excellent. Words can not describe the structure that was added to the house without a permit Kevin carefully removed from the house. The backyard had old wooden fencing and sheds pieced together with junk. Kevin's team and equipment got rid of all of it in 4 days including excavating, removing concrete slabs and preparing an area for a patio.

He is very very professional. He is very responsive and honest. He knows what he's doing and it's obvious he has been doing this for years. He is very quick and efficient. He doesn't waste time. Well worth the money! A nice, honest guy. Excellent at returning calls and taking calls. I would recommend him to anyone and would for sure hire him again!

Kevin gave me an estimate on Monday and came out to do the work the next Tuesday. I thought he would dismantle the deck into small pieces (decking, joist, posts, etc...), but he cut up the deck into large sections (about 4) and then used the bobcat to haul them to his truck. It worked great, and probably saved a lot of time. The rest of the work went as expected. I added the fence removal after the original quote and he did it for a reasonable added price the same day.

Kev arrived at 8am and was finished in early afternoon. The job went perfectly. I highly recommend this company. Kev was professional and courteous and price was right, too. We had two other companies come out and bid, and his was most reasonable. He worked hard and cleaned up after completion. He even removed an old gas grill from my back yard and hauled it away free of charge. Just a really nice guy who does good quality work.

From start to finish, Kev has been a pleasure to work with. He has gone above and beyond in every step. He took the time to make sure that even the smallest details were taken care of. Kept things clean and orderly throughout the project and took pride in his work. I could not have asked for more! The boulder wall came out beautiful as well. I have more work to be done and will be hiring him again without question.

First, Kevin was remarkably responsive in getting the work I needed done. I was in a jam, he had a window in his schedule and wound up squeezing me right in. From phone call to completed work, I think it was 2 days. I'm sure that's more the exception, but he was definitely willing to work with me and my crazy schedule. Second, Kevin brought in his equipment and a couple of really nice guys who busted their butts to get rid of an unreal amount of concrete on a very small property. It was back-breaking work and I never heard a complaint. They accomplished a lot with the Bobcat, but also needed to dig out part of a walkway by hand. They also used a jackhammer to get at some old concrete steps at the rear of my house. The whole experience was great. They were efficient, worked really hard and were done in just a few hours (5 or 6). In addition, Kevin and his crew were really nice guys to work with. They were fun, but kept to task and I would use them again in a heart-beat. I highly recommend these guys if you need excavation.

Kevin was professional and completed the work quickly and as promised. He also followed up personally to ensure that we were happy with the work done.

We realized we needed excavating in a hurry. Kevin was very accommodating about coming to give us a bid and fitting the job in on our tight schedule. They were punctual, friendly, very respectful of the other work going on at the time and even helped with some heavy lifting we were doing while they were here. When they finished, they cleaned up after the job very nicely. I wouldn't hesitate to call again!

Even though I didn't end up going forward with the project, his professionalism was worth a positive report. In a field where it often feels like it's impossible to even get a callback from a contractor, he returned my calls within a day, provided a verbal estimate (hard copy to be mailed) within 3 days (over a holiday weekend, too), and was very helpful in talking about options that might make the larger project easier. I really appreciated his time and responsiveness - I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs excavating done!

He was 1/2 the cost of other bidders. He did an excellent job. He was meticulous. His crew was very good, they were in and out of here in about 4-6 hours. My brother and I had started pulling up the sod ourselves, but realized it was more difficult than we had anticipated. I called Kev at the last minute to ask if he could remove the remaining sod and haul it away. He lined up a trucker for the next day and they were able to haul it away. It cost a little extra, but that wasn't his fault. Taking care of this last minute didn't delay anything, he was very flexible.

He did a great, good to work with. Professional. He was very helpful. We didn't know everything that was involved with doing this type of work, and his knowledge was very good.

He came, did the job on time, reasonably priced. This was a year after he did our basement, and he's excellent.

He new exactly what to do and more. The final cost was exactly as quoted. He came back later that evening to pick up the payment and discuss the job. I was very impressed with the work he did and the cleanup job. I would definitely call him again if I needed additional earth work or concrete removal.

Kevin was great. I had a hard time explaining exactly the shape I wanted but he knew how to grade the driveway perfectly. He scooped out and hauled away the mucky soil and firmly packed gravel in its place, exactly to my specifications. His final bill was less than his bid and I've been very happy to have a driveway.

He did a good job. It was really fast and he charged me exactly what he had quoted me ahead of time.

Kevin arrived to evaluate the site and make a proposal within 24 hours of my first contact. He bid $1200 to pull the stumps, remove 16 yards of topsoil/black sand;establish and compact the new grade and top it with reckon-rock. He scheduled the job for the week following my acceptance of the proposal;told me the night before the scheduled start he had run into unexpected limestone at the job he was on and it would be late morning when he got to my place. He arrived when he said he would;made sure we were on the same page as to what he was going to do and introduced me to Pat, a pleasant fellow who he had hired to drive an additional dump truck so Kevin could keep grading while the dirt was hauled off and the rock brought in. He went right to work and did not consider the job done until my wife and I were both satisfied with the outcome.

Kevin came out and gave us a bid on August 19th. Six days later he came out and dug the hole. After the foundation was built, Kevin came out right away and back filled around the blocks. Kevin and his crew were very friendly and they did a great job! They got a lot done in a short period of time. One of Kevin's employees did bump into some foundation blocks with his tamping machine, but Kevin was honest and pointed out that several of the blocks would need to be re-set. Our concrete crew was coming back for some minor changes so they fixed the blocks. The overall experience was very positive and I would definitely hire Kevin again.
