Initially I was able to provide service for this customer immediately (within 24 hours) because of an opening in my schedule created by a cancellation. The part that the customer needed was under warranty and so I advised her to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement for no cost. After the part came in, I was not able to fit her in my schedule as quickly as I could for the initial visit. Typically, I book 2 to 4 days out. Occasionally a little further. I take pride in the service I am able to provide because I am servicing every customer. That said, I am one person and like most service technicians in any field, you will likely have to book and appointment a few days out.

Description of Work: Unjammed lock, but explained what had caused it and that it was likely to happen again. Recommended replacing the broken lock mechanism/ handle. When the lock jammed again later, we hired him to replace it. He was very polite and helpful, and gave us all the information we needed.

I was called out in February not April it was the second time to their house, the first was to rekey it. They have a three point lock on the door, it's a newer one. My thought for them was it could still be under a factory warranty. So I said to call the manufacturer to have it repaired under the warranty. I charged them a service call for coming over, and said if they were not able to get it repaired I would come back out and not charge for the service call on the return trip. I always try to do the best and most cost effective repair. The parts for a three point lock can be very costly, by going back to the manufacturer we can get parts at no or little cost.

They are great.
Description of Work: I have used Holt Lock & Key. I was having trouble with a deadbolt. They sprayed some stuff in the lock to help it move more easily. I also called them to come out and help my neighbor that was locked out of their house.

It went very well!
Description of Work: I broke the key off in the lock. We set up an appointment for T. Holt to come out the next morning. He arrived late, but it didn't end up being too bad as I had a little extra time to get to work. I think he just mixed up the time. He came out and replaced part of the lock. He also fixed the lock so that I could use the same key for the handle and for the dead bolt. He worked fast and was very friendly and professtional.
