Description of Work: I had an antique theatre trunk and the key had gone missing. They knew the lock, and it's mechanism, and were able to get a key. They also lubricated the lock for ease of use.

Description of Work: Tim was just spectacular and provided useful security information. He installed a deadbolt and a general door knob, re-keyed several locks and stuck with the hardest install until it met his specifications. Description of Work: After lost key issue, Tim came and rekeyed locks for two doors, and made multiple copies of new keys. Provided lots of informations about options. I have used his services in the past as well. Once again, very prompt, courteous, and helpful.

Description of Work: We had several issues on several entry doors. Tim replaced a mortise lock housing; it was a special-order part from a European company, the cost of which made up much of the $600 charge. He also replaced a deadbolt lock on a garage access door and cleaned two other deadbolts that had become difficult to operate with the keys. He was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: My church was in need of help with several problems: a door lock functioning erratically, panic hardware refusing to close properly, a lock box not answering its combination; also a change of lock was needed for an office. Tim arrived promptly to appointment, inspected the problems, made several very practical suggestions, and fixed or installed everything needed, all with patience and geniality. Very clearly experienced and knowledgeable. He definitely will be called again at need.

Description of Work: took the lock apart, it had periodically hung up and barely could get door open. It is a very old lock but he got it working like a new lock. he was awesome. I had sprayed some graphite in the lock and he offered not to take it apart and said it should work ok, but I wanted him to remove lock and make sure all was ok. I could have saved money not doing anything but felt more secure knowing he had checked everything out. He was great and would recommend to anyone in need of a locksmith. He showed up about 2 hrs after I had called him. Mpls Lock and Key could not come until the next day. It was my good forturne

Description of Work: Someone broke into our house through back door but was scared off by security alarm. As soon as we got home I went to Angie's List and found Holt Lock an Key. The serviceman came out in a very short time and installed a new deadbolt lock. Quick, professional service. We were very satisfied. Don't remember the exact date nor the cost. I do know the cost was reasonable.
