Very happy with service, I called late Thursday afternoon and he came out Friday morning. Service was friendly, professional and quick.

The chain locks were put on wrong so that a person could open them from the outside of the house. When contacted about this, Tim seemed irritated. I was not home when he returned but my partner was. He fixed the chain lock on one door leaving holes in the door and told her that we would need more of a hotel room style lock for security. He added this to the front door and removed the chaon lock again, leaving holes in the door. He also added a hotel style lock that does not come close to matching the door hardware. It is unsightly.

I set up an appointment in advance and Tim arrived at the date an time specified to perform the work. He had great suggestions on how to key the locks so that we could have master keys for the house and garage and garage only keys. Tim also replaced a push button lock with a more secure deadbolt lock.

Tim was outgoing and explained what he was doing. He recommended adding a deadbolt to the rear garage door, which I hadn't planned on, but seemed like a good idea. He didn't seem high pressure.

Tim came out the same day we called. He came when we scheduled and checked in to let us know the schedule. The work was performed quickly and well. We would definitely use him again.

He was fast, efficient, and very friendly. I enjoyed speaking with him, and he gave us a lot of very clearly explained options for how we could go about achieving our objectives for the house. We love the new equipment he put in, and we will definitely call them in the future if we need a locksmith.

Within a couple of minutes of arriving, Tim had assessed the problem and the most speedy and effective way to fix the problem that both addressed 1) the need for a significant level of security and 2) the need for all the security doors on the house to use the same key. He was able to explain his recommendation and compare it to other options, and gave me a clear sense of when the work would be done. The only reason I gave a "B" for punctuality was that I originally contacted Holt on Christmas Eve (hoping the work could be done the 26th), but it took one more work day. They could have been speedier, but I was willing to wait for the quality of service.

He was great! Very thorough and efficient and timely. I would use him in the future.

He responded to my request for service quite promptly. We settled on a time and he was there at the appointed time. He did his work quickly paying attention to keeping a clean work site. He talked while he worked and overall was very pleasant and engaging.

I called Tim to fix a door that was installed by another contractor. I had problems opening and closing my door. After 15 minutes Tim had fixed 5 problems with my door and it functions great now. I would recommend Tim to anyone.

Tim did exactly what I wanted done at a reasonable cost.

Went very well. Showed the locks to re-key, got some good tips on securing doors and ideas on where to limit people being able to see in.

He arrived on time and went about his work. He also gave me good advice about a garage door lock, and was honest about how crappy my existing locks were.

Tim was great. He finished quickly and was flexible about the fact that there were movers in his way. I'd definitely use him again.

Great. Tim keeps in touch and lets you know how his calendar and time is progressing. He set appts. and then provided updates in case he was running on-time, early, or he might be delayed.

He did it all very quickly and efficiently. He was great on the phone. He was professional. He was punctual. It was a reasonable price. We were very happy with the results.

We called and spoke with Tim on a Saturday. He was courteous and polite. He said he could not come that day, but offered to make an appointment. He also suggested that if we wanted the work done immediately, we could call a different locksmith that he knows and trusts to do good work. He gave us this person's name and number. I am submitting this report to say that I was impressed by Tim because he seemed to understand we wanted to take care of our locks ASAP and he offered the name one of his "competitors," giving up the chance for our business by putting our needs as the customer first. To me, this is excellent customer service and a selfless act that you don't see too often!

Tim was great--he came on time, was quick and efficient, and didn't pressure me to do more work than I needed. I've had no trouble with any of my locks since his visit.

He answered the phone personally, was accommodating of my schedule, did an excellent job, and was a great resource for security issues.

Tim is a great guy, very personable. He also re-nailed some trim on my front door and tightened the hinges, not only do the locks work great, but I feel like I have a new front door. Also quite reasonably priced, I did comparison shop the top three locksmiths on your list.

Called at the last minute and needed to have someone come out in the next 24 hours so other work could be completed on my home. He was able to fit me into his packed schedule and created the key for my door.

Jim was very responsive and did a great job of diagnosing and repairing the problem with the lock. He was also very pleasant to talk with as I supervised our new puppy who was getting in his way!

Tim turned up on time and changed the locks on 4 doors. I also asked him to add a window lock. He investigated the one I had bought and recommended a more secure version. He came back 2 days later and installed a better lock without charging for an extra visit. He was super professional, efficient, smart and very personable. Not only that, my dog loved him from the beginning. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to my neighbors.
