Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie

Initial work was hampered by weather. Some of the repairs failed or were incorrectly installed.. These issues were all resolved this spring to our satisfaction and the company lived up to its guarantee. "A" rating based on company fulfilling its guarantee despite initial problems with work.

I give a high recommendation to Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie for a job well-done. When I first called I actually spoke to a person in the office, and after describing what I needed was given an appointment time for someone to come and give me an estimate. An actual appointment, not just a 3-hour window. Josh came and measured and took pictures of my walk-on closet that needed a new dropped ceiling to cover a new air handler unit. He gave me a notebook of all the company’s credentials, recommendations and photos of other projects. I had an estimate after about 15 minutes. Josh came again to do the work, and was very friendly, professional, and timely. The project was a little complicated, but Josh never wavered, he got it done. Needed some work done to update my kitchen - backsplash, paint, new light fixtures, etc. They were very responsive when I asked for a quote and were able to schedule the work quickly. Keith did a great job and made sure that things were done to my satisfaction.

Finally, a company that takes seriously the homeowner with smaller repair needs. After multiple attempts with single-operator guys who never followed up, Handyman Connection completed my project exactly as promised.

I called for an appointment, they dutifully took down all the details. But never called back.

I can not rate this company on their performance in doing the tasks at my house as I called, but they never got back to me.

They changed the time, I couldn’t reach anyone. Phones and website were down - suspicious. Called to make sure they cancelled the Spurs I couldn’t make the time they changed it to and they said they never had me scheduled.

I had a louvered bathroom vent that was torn apart by a squirrel intent on nesting in for the duration of the Winter. I was so thankful Handyman Connection could come out and replace the louvered vent, and install a protective grid over it, in the middle of this awful weather. Tom was the greatest! Nate and Kyle are very conscientious. Each job has turned out VERY well. I've got a 100 year-old house, so remodeling jobs are often going to have little surprises. They address any job scope changes quickly and professionally, laying out all of the options. I like that I don't have to try to find the different tradesmen for the different types of jobs. Whoever they send will be excellent. Appointment times, construction schedules stay on track. Isn't that a pleasure! We will occasionally play a little phone tag when we're working on an estimate and a schedule, but I'll take at least half of the blame for that. I'm not easy to get a hold of. Job prices have ranged from $500 to $7500. I space out the home projects for budget planning purposes.

The contractor showed up on time, was very knowledgeable carpenter, and was able to fix the issue on spot! Nate (Owner), is extremely pleasurable to work with and runs a professional business with always putting the customer's first.

The job was done very well, in a timely fashion and the carpenter kept our kitchen cleaned up along the way.
