Did a good job. Installed gutters and covers. Completed on time as promised.

I was impressed with Bruce's knowledge and willingness to work with me to get the best quality system I could afford. He was able to eliminate one inconveniently placed downspout in the process and install the exact covering I had researched and requested. This guy knows gutters! I liked that.

The only thing I noticed the day after that was a little disappointing is that he left the shards/pieced of metal that he needed to cut off on my driveway. I think these would be sharp and could pop car tires and worse - cut up my kids feet who go barefoot often. I cleaned them up before it was a problem so nothing bad happened - but still, it should have been cleaned up. I think he just missed it.

Bruce was efficient, prompt, fair, and easy to work with. I would use him again.

Bruce was very nice and way cheaper than any other quotes I got. There were a couple reasons I gave a B rating for Quality and a C rating for Professionalism. He showed up two hours early to the estimate appointment. It wasn't a big deal because I happened to be home anyways. Also, he had to come back and fix the downspout extensions. I asked him to call and let me know before he came. He just showed up one day unannounced and started working on it and then left without a word. I wished he would've communicated better and made sure I was happy with the work. Overall, the quality is decent. The gutters seem to be working well. I would use him again because he was so cheap. Just make sure he is on the same page with you so you get exactly what you want.

I found Gutter Systems on Angie's List. The company, which is owned and operated by Bruce Donatell, has an outstanding record of satisfying customers. I called Bruce and he came over in a couple of days to give me advice and an estimate. It was obvious to me that Bruce is highly trustworthy both in terms of integrity and professional knowledge. Bruce's card indicates that he has 30 years of experience and has over 15,000 satisfied customers. He laid out options for me and costs along with his recommendations. I actually chose a more expensive option regarding leaf guards than he identified for me. I got the impression all along that he was trying to save me money. That is a welcome change, since I think of gutter replacement salesmen as typically about as forthright as used car or aluminum siding salesmen. I gave him the job on the spot. Bruce gave me an estimate of about 2-3 weeks before he could do the job, but he came in one week and finished the work perfectly. I have to add that it is something to watch Bruce work, as he worked alone on my job. I told him I thought he must be part mountain goat for how fearlessly he worked on my roof, which is up three stories. I checked in with him as the project moved along, and I was happy to know that each step was done the right way to assure that I got total quality. Frankly, I don't think you can do better than Bruce for gutter work in the Twin Cities!

Prompt response to request for bid and prompt performance of work in a highly professional manner

Bruce came out right away after I contacted him to provide an estimate for the work. We arranged a time for him to start the work and he was very prompt and professional. He installed the gutters and downspouts as we discussed. He was efficient and the work area was neat when he finished. I would recommend him to anyone needing gutter installation.

My original review of Gutter Systems: Bruce and his crew arrived on time. The power was out due to a storm, so Bruce called around and quickly got a generator on site. The entire job was completed in less than one day, from removal of the old gutters to installation of the new gutters. (I found a few old gutter brackets on the lawn afterward.) Overall, I am very happy with the service and quality. Updated review: My original gutters on the garage had down spots on all 4 corners. When they replaced them, they only put two down spouts in the back of the garage. I was concerned, but he said that if everything is angled properly, the water will all drain into the back. After the next heavy rain, I noticed there were leaks on some corners. I also noticed there was standing water in the gutters on the front of the garage. It was not draining properly. I called to have the corners fixed. Bruce caulked the corners. It still leaked. I called back. He said he would send another guy to fix it and the angle of the gutters in the front of the garage. He never showed up. Or if he did and didn't leave a note when I wasn't home, he certainly didn't fix the standing water issue or the leaks. Most of the corners on my house and garage leak. I'm tired of calling him back. Bruce, feel free to call me and fix this situation.

.I called & made appointment for Bruce to come out & give me an estimate. He came out and told'me what I needed done. He suggested my gutters were all right, but I should put larger down sprouts & covers on the gutters. Bruce came out & was very professional. He did a good job, & I'm very pleased with his work. I would refer him to every one. People have driven past my house & noticed the new gutters.

Had Bruce come out and quote seamless gutters for my entire home. Previous to Bruce, I had 2 other companies come out and quote. It was immediately apparent that Bruce new a lot more about what to look for when performing the quote, noticing several "gotchas" related to how the valley's on my house run down that the other 2 companies (and myself) missed. When his price came in at the lowest of the 3 bids, it was a no brainer for me to go with Bruce. We set up a time and date. Turned out Bruce ended up finishing another job up early, and called to ask if it was okay to come out a few days early and get working on my gutters. I was delighted to get them on a bit early, as I've had some issues with water in my basement in the past, and believed that gutters would help with this problem. Bruce arrived a few minutes prior to our agreed upon time, and immediately got to work. I was VERY impressed with his professionalism and work ethic. I had to run to work, and Bruce said no problem, he'd finish up that same day. I came home to very nice looking gutters, all installed, a clean yard with no evidence of any metal debris at all. Bruce did his job, and did it very well and cleaned up everything. He even took the time to hide my downspouts behind the bushes instead of taking the easy route and putting them in front of the bushes. I would definitely recommend Bruce to anyone who needs gutters. He's clearly a high integrity person who takes much pride in his work. As an added bonus, the rainstorm we received last night typically would have had my sump pump running about once per minute during the storm, and every 10-30 minutes for the next 24 hours once the rain stopped. With the gutters in place, my sump pump did not even kick on once. I couldn't be happier.

Gutter Systems had done covered gutters on our house about a year ago. We called Bruce on 6/28 to take a look and give us an estimate on our new porch. At the time, he said that he would not be able to come out until after the holiday on the 4th. He took a look over the weekend, gave us an estimate and and said he would be out at 6:30am on the 5th! We agreed. He showed up promptly and took care of the job quickly, cleaning up everything so only the new gutters remained. The gutters look and work great. We are very pleased with gutter systems and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Bruce showed up right on time and worked incredibly fast. I couldn't even believe how fast he finished. The new gutters look great and the work was even cheaper than he had quoted me. I am moving into a new home in a month and will be giving Bruce a call to install gutters on that house as well. If you need gutter work, don't hesitate to have Gutter Systems do the work.

We needed an old leaking steel gutter replaced to prevent water from coming into the basement. We received an accurate quote over the phone. GS arrived 2 days later and did the work - about a half day effort. The results look great. The service was prompt and professional. The price was very resonable. Excellent cleanup afterwards.

The process was pretty painless. Once a time opened up, he scheduled me then and showed up just when he said he'd be there.

Bruce Donatell was one the job right on time and he did a very nice job repairing a fairly tricky problem with my built-in gutter downspout. A bit of cutting and pasting was involved but he seemed to have no problem getting all the necessary pieces to fit together and stop the leaking.
