Bruce arrived at on-time and was all business. He finished the job within 2 hrs and did quality work.

We contacted Gutter Systems in mid-June based on the reviews on Angie's List. Bruce stopped by our house and dropped off a business card with an estimate written on it for replacing our gutters and downspouts. After we asked, he also met with us in person to go through the project in more detail and review colors. He provided a verbal price to include the garage. The estimate was ~ $700 less expensive and the work could be started sooner than the other quote we got. Work was done on July 12. This was delayed from our expected start due to not hearing back from Bruce and from our own schedule. I found some issues with the work and contacted Bruce about having them resolved. Due to Bruce being on vacation and my desire to work with him instead of his associate, adjustments weren't completed until August 1. They did lengthen the downspout extensions at no additional cost at this time (not part of the original job). Here's a list of the things that they corrected: Garage gutter didn't drain (had 1" of standing water in it). Garage downspout was 2x3 instead of 3x4 like house. Garage downspout elbow was hanging crooked, wasn't secure against garage wall, and sections weren't aligned. A downspout strap got missed (wasn't screwed on). One downspout was 2 sections even though 1 would have been long enough. There were also things that didn't meet my expectations but decided not to pursue having changed: Downspout inserts are small even though we got large downspouts specifically because of blockage concerns. Downspout brackets seem quickly made and don't look similar to one another. Mixture of white and almond screws were used on almond downspouts. After adjustment to garage gutter, slope appears exaggerated and there is caulking smeared where it is no longer under the gutter apron. Most of my ratings for Gutter Systems are fair because I think that for the price that they charge, Gutter Systems provides an economical service. Unfortunately, I was more concerned with the quality of the work and I didn't feel that Gutter Systems met my expectations and I was disappointed in the amount of issues I found in their work.

Bruce did an excellent job. The day after he installed our new gutters, we had a huge thunderstorm (about 3" of rain!), and everything worked great. I highly recommend Bruce - he does an outstanding job for a very reasonable price.

Very efficient, very fast. Great price 15 min early. A couple of problems: I have been finding nails (at least a dozen) and pieces of metal in my yard since the installation, suggest maybe using a magnet or something like roofers do. Also the assistant walked all over my rhubarb plants to the point where they are unusable and have to grow out again.

I was pleased with the price, quality of work and the professionalism that Bruce exhibited. When I had a concern about a mess that was left around the house and with one missing gutter, he took care of it right away.

He was very punctual and professional and did a great job.

Bruce was responsive from my first phone call to him through project completion. He had the lowest bid, by far, and was able to schedule me in the week after I called. He was able to do the job in a little over an hour and cleaned up after himself. No complaints at all, I would recommend him to anyone.

We had other bids, but Bruce offered the best solution and best price for addressing our water issues. We were amazed at how well the water was diverted and flowed after the first heavy rains came after the gutter installation. Bruce's years of experience was very evident in both his workmanship and his analysis of our needs. We would highly recommend him.

Everything turned out great! Their price was excellent and I cannot complain. They even came out on a Sunday, which I found to be very impressive.

When my two story house was re-shingled 7 yrs ago I neglected to have the previous gutter installer include covers. So for the past several years every spring its the dreaded; find a ladder, disassemble the downspouts to find plug routine. This probably wouldn't be too bad if I had one less floor but I do not enjoy being up that high on a ladder and my down spout in the back returns to the ground right by my power line feed to the house. I was real happy to find Gutter Systems and also what I think was a reasonable price based on how much effort I have expend every year to keep the water flowing in the spring. I believe Bruce is the owner and sole operator of the business. He arrived on time and completed the job in three hours. Cleaned up the mess and hauled away the old downspouts. I didn't have to deal with anything except write the check. Bruce takes pride in his work and has lots of experience for what works what doesn't work. Bruce did make me a bit nervous when I saw him kneeling right at the edge of my roof installing the covers from above without any visible safety equipment two stories up, but that's his business. I'm happy with my new system. But my real satisfaction won't be known until next spring when the water runs free after the snow and ice thaws. I had the option to save more money by installing a screen or grid type cover but I'm glad I went with the solid cover. It seems more quiet. I'll call Gutter Systems again when I have the garage gutters redone.

Bruce came out and did an estimate and was right on time. He arrived first thing in the morning the day of the install right on time and completed the entire install by 3pm. The gutters look great and appear to be high quality. Great value. Would highly recommend.

Bruce did a great job. Showed up on time, got to work right away and completed the job in a timely manner. Was very friendly, professional and knowledgable on his products. Quoted the job at $1500+ below some of the other companies. I'd highly recommend him to anyone else looking for gutters.

Bruce's bid was significantly cheaper than my next closest bid. He put up the gutters earlier than he promised, which was a good thing. He did what he said he would do and was both professional and knowledgable. I would use him again.

Mr. Donatell was great. He was very responsive to my phone calls, and came out for the estimate very quickly. Our home-improvement budget was exhausted last year, but when I called again this spring, his response was prompt and he clearly remembered our house and the job. His estimate was very competitive, price-wise. And I also really appreciated that he gave me an honest assessment of gutter guard products and our need for those products based on our location, the tree cover, our budget and priorities, etc. Ultimately, we chose NOT to install gutter guards, so he gets added points for candor. It was a MISERABLE spring weather-wise, and Mr. Donatell gave me updates on when he would be able to come out for the project, which was dependent on decent weather. The moment the radar looked forgiving enough to do it, he was ready to go. My wife and I both work; he was able to meet us at our home before leaving for work. Upon arrival, he set straight to work. When I returned home, the work had been done. Beautifully. The new gutters blend well with the old. The old were removed and reinstalled correctly. We have fancy new fat-boy downspouts (the 4" ones), and he removed the oddly-placed downspouts from the old installation. I have two other quick comments. First, there was some debris from the installation left behind. Not a lot by any stretch of the imagination. But there were some aluminum bits, a few nails, and some other miscellaneous parts left behind. It would have been nothing at all, but we've got a little youngster, and my wife wasn't overjoyed to find a random nail sitting out next to the driveway. Second, Mr. Donatell's personality isn't a glowing, outgoing one. I didn't mind his get-down-to-business style at all, but he sometimes comes across as a bit brusque. I only mention it because if you choose NOT to use him because of his personal style, you will lose out on excellent workmanship, superb pricing, and trustworthy advice. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone who's contemplating doing some gutter updating.

Great! Very responsive, prompt, reasonable price and got the job done when he said he would.

Bruce and his guys did much of the work over the winter months, working around ice dams and bad weather. This helped a lot with water management over the winter. Once things warmed up a bit, they came out and installed the gutter covers and finished up the fascia. He cleaned up the existing gutter to remove dirt and staining on the outside, so it looks like fairly new gutter and matched the new gutter really well. After inspecting the work we had a couple things that needed to be tweaked, and Bruce came right over to take care of that. For quality work at lower prices than the competition, we'd recommend Gutter Systems and will use them again if needed.

Left a message on voicemail telling him that I was looking for bids on gutters. He called back and left a voicemail at approximately 12:17 p.m. When I called him back the phone was answered with a brusque "hello". It took me by surprise as I thought I was calling a business. After determining that it was actually the company I was calling he started complaining that I had spoken too fast on my voicemail message. He said something to the effect that he couldn't catch my name or number at all. I told him that he must have been able to understand me since he in fact called me back and left a voicemail. He continued to argue with me until I just changed the subject. I started asking him questions about the products he uses, etc. He demanded to know my address. I continued with my questions since it didn't seem to make much sense to give out my address if the company wasn't going to be a good fit or didn't have the products or services I was looking for. He complained again about my message, complained that I wasn't giving him my address right away and came across as almost hostile. Strangest call I have ever had with a contractor. Decided right away that this is NOT the company I want to do business with so I ended the call.

Bruce was very professional, and punctual. He completed the job when he said he would, answered any questions we had, and billed me the quoted cost. The gutters seem to be working as well as expected. We haven't had a strong rain to fully test them yet, but with the snow melt, and light rain we have had in the last couple weeks, they seem to be draining fine . We would hire Bruce again.

Bruce is great. Independent operator who is very knowledgable and friendly. Had to add new gutters and fix some downspouts due to drainage issues in our yard. Bruce came in a did the work in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely use him again if the need arises.

Bruce is great! He is not from a big company that tries to sell you on more than you need. He came out for the estimate and wasted no time and walked around the house and got the measurements before he came to the door. He was low pressure and left us with his card. His prices were reasonable and better than the larger companies, especially on the covers. He does all the work himself which is so reassuring. He didn't mind us asking questions. He was prompt everyday and worked a long day both days out in the cold. Our gutters look great! I would highly recommend him and his work to anyone!

I had a small repair job (approx 40 feet, no corners) and was worried that i would not get a response to my request. Bruce called within 15 minutes of submitting the add and was extremely responsive and professional. He installed the gutter in the specified time and his price was very reasonable. I'd use him again and will recommend him to friends.

Was having the exterior of my house painted and the old gutters needed replacement, so decided to do both at the same time. I called three contractors, but Bruce from Gutter Systems got back to me first. He came out while I was away and called me with an estimate to take the existing, old gutters off before the painters started and put new leaf-proof gutters on after they were done (I have lots of trees around the house). He asked for half of the estimate up front & the rest when done. The work was done professionally with no issues. Mine is an old house with a complex roof so was happy that all was done and within the estimate. It hasn't rained much since they put the gutters on, but the little that it has everything looks like it's working properly. I had forgotten to ask for extenders on the downspouts, but he added those without batting an eye & without extra charge. They cleaned up after themselves & didn't leave any pieces or bits of metal. I'm very satisfied with their work.
