Description of Work: Greg's Lawn Service cleared snow from two properties while I was out of town. |I was not here to observe their work. My neighbors did and I heard of no issues about their work. I offered after hours and night time work to make it easier for them to complete the work as their schedule allowed. My only request was to conform to the city code of 24 hour snow removal, which they did.

Greg and his crew are fantastic. I have hired them for several years for on going shoveling and mowing. Additionally, I have hired them to remove large, old shrubs with deep roots (they ground the roots), grind out tree stumps, plant shrubs, etc. They are very responsive, and I trust their work. I have recommended them to others.

GREG'S LAWN SERVICE WAS VERY PROMPT AND COURTEOUS IN RESPONDING TO MY REQUEST FOR A SNOW REMOVAL ESTIMATE. THE ESTIMATE WAS REASONABLE, AND I SIGNED A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES. THERE HAS BEEN NO NEED FOR SNOW REMOVAL AS OF YET, SO I CANNOT COMMENT ON ANY ACTUAL WORK PERFORMED.

I HAVE USED GREG'S LAWN SERVICE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS BOTH WINTER AND SUMMER AND BEEN REASONABLY HAPPY WITH THE WORK DONE. HOWEVER, THIS SUMMER THEY APPEAR TO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT BECAUSE THEY COME AND MOW AND THERE IS VERY LITTLE SIGN THAT THEY HAVE BEEN THERE. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD COME BACK AND MOWED AGAIN. I ASKED THEM TO COME BACK AGAIN AND THEY DID IT AN HOUR AFTER A TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR, WHICH MADE NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL. THEY WERE JUST AT MY HOUSE THIS MORNING AND WHEN THE FIRST MOWING DID NOTHING I ASKED THEM TO MOW AGAIN IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION AND IT STILL LOOKED AWFUL. I HAVE LEFT A MESSAGE TO COMPLAIN AND AM EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. I AM LOOKING FOR ANOTHER LAWN SERVICE.

I AM NOT THRILLED WITH THIS COMPANY. THE LAWN GETS MOWED, SLOPPILY. THE GRASS CLIPPINGS REMAIN STREWN ACROSS THE LAWN. UNKNOWN TO THEM, I WAS HOME DURING ONE OF THEIR VISITS. ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES SPENT A GOOD DEAL OF TIME SWEARING AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS. I AM SURE MY NEIGHBORS DIDN'T APPRECIATE IT. THE SPRING CLEAN UP WAS REASONABLY WELL DONE, AND I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR THAT PURPOSE ONLY. THIS RAN A COUPLE OF HUNDRED DOLLARS.
