Green Clean Restoration & Carpet Care

They thought they could lift most the spots, but weren't able to. We ended up replacing the carpet. Maybe they were a little too optimistic, but it did come with a caution.

I called Green Clean on a Saturday and left a message with their answering service. They called me back by 10am on Monday morning and scheduled the cleaning for Tuesday. They said they would be able to start the job sometime between 1 and 3 pm on Tuesday and would call first. They also told me the lead technician would be Cody. I agree to a "quote and go" rather than just a free estimate. I was pretty sure I would use this company based on the Angie's List Reviews. They called me again late Monday afternoon to confirm the appointment and also asked me to remove the small items from the rooms. They had two technicians coming and would move the large furniture items. Cody called me a little after noon on Tuesday and said they were 45 minutes away and expected to arrive at 1pm. They arrived right on time. I showed them the areas to be cleaned and they measured to give me an estimate. They had already factored in the 25% Angie's List discount in their pricing per square foot. We discussed the coffee stain and they said they would do their best and also suggested I consider an additional $10 process to extract coffee from the pad to prevent the stain from coming back. Cody then explained their cleaning process to me. He also said they scrub the steps by hand since they use a machine to scrub the flat surfaces. I agreed to the estimate and they started the cleaning. Cody told me they were going slow since there residue from previous cleaning (not Green Clean) and he wanted to make sure they did not leave any residue. He was able to get the coffee stain out of the carpet and did the extra step with the pad for no additional cost. Cody said he could still see the stain but I couldn't see it so I was very pleased. Once they were finished he pointed out two worn areas of the carpet. I appreciated this but there is not much that can be done about this. They moved the large furniture and also put it back on styrofoam blocks or plastic squares. Cody told me the carpet would take 24 hour to dry and it did take that long. I wore booties they game me on my shoes, or a new pair of shoes I had that I had not yet worn outside the house while the carpet was drying The carpet looks brand new. I had friends visit over the weekend and told them who had cleaned my carpet. They thought it looked terrific. I would definitely use Green Clean again, they were polite, professional, informative and wanted to make sure i was satisfied.

They did a fantastic job cleaning our carpet which is very light colored and we have pets and kids. Cody was an extremely professional job leader and clearly cared about providing good customer service.

After a summer storm that dropped 7 inches of rain in the area, we woke up at 5 AM to find the holding/drainage pond next to our home was blocked by debris and not draining. The pond emptied into our backyard and flooded the entire property. The water came into the lower level of our home and left four feed of standing water. Our lower level consists of a fully furnished bedroom, office, family room, and laundry/storage area. Green Clean came over immediately to access the damage. Rhett, the foreman, mentioned they were getting many calls from all around the area. Rhett determined that our home was in immediate need due to the amount of water and the fact that the drywall was wicking the water up the walls. Our home was a swarm of activity after that. A large crew began removing furniture and boxes from the basement and removed the carpeting. They removed four feet of drywall from all sides of the basement to prevent the water from working its way up the walls any more than it already had. Insulation was removed. It was a dirty, wet, heavy job. But through it all, the crew kept the upstairs clean and dry while hauling things out. Rhett and his crew were efficient and all the time polite and concerned with our welfare. They were wonderful to work with. After everything was cleaned out, Green Clean left a large industrial blower/dryer in each room to make sure the lower level would be dry. The team came back several days in a row to check the wood frame and left the dryers running until they were sure the wood was thoroughly dried out. We are so grateful for the quick response and professional work that was done by the amazing crew that showed up at our home that day. We cannot say enough good things about Green Clean and would highly recommend them to anyone that has water damage to their home and property.

The quote depended on the fabric type and ours happened to be the least expensive, they could have told us anything. The cleaning agents they use are eco-friendly. Roger and Cody were right on time, very friendly and professional. They were good with our dog and asked where he lays so they could pay more attention to those areas. They were very informative about what they were doing as they worked, were careful around our new fireplace and freshly painted walls, and left a bottle of spot cleaner. They moved the furniture and left it on foam blocks for protection until the carpet dries. We have used this company before and have always been very satisfied with their services. We also had a discount coupon.

It worked out excellent for me. They knew what they were talking about and they did what they said they were going to do. There were some tuff areas and some stains that were pretty rough but they got them pretty good. I was impressed. They knew exactly what they doing. They were on time. They came in and did what they were supposed to do and cleaned up nicely and took off. I was very happy with them.

Green Clean was an excellent company to work with. They answered my initial phone call promptly, quickly and easily arranged a cleaning date that worked well for me, and showed up right on time. The 2 man crew was very professional, respectful of my home, thorough, and efficient. They answered all my questions and talked me through everything they did. And they left me with very helpful instructions/ information about "after cleaning." I was dubious about the effectiveness of "eco-friendly" carpet/ upholstery cleaning. But I'm a firm believer now. All the areas they cleaned look wonderful. And I was especially impressed with the cleaning Green Clean did on the two runners and the upholstered chair they worked on. They were stained and dirty, and they look great now. I will definitely call them again!

Everything went well. They are always prompt, friendly, and courteous when working. In fact, they do such excellent work that my rug looks spectacular after they have left.

It was wonderful. They were quick to respond, which is important when you have water all over the carpeting. They came in and immediately started sucking up the water and lifted up the carpeting and padding and left it to dry out. They followed up and came back every day to check on the carpets until everything was dried out. They were very good.

From the very first phone call Rhett was friendly, helpful and professional. You could tell he knew what he was doing. They cleaned up the mess, tore out contaminated drywall, specially cleaned things that could be saved, tossed things that couldn't be saved and packed up our stuff and moved it for the restoration. They use a water meter that shows where the water has gotten. During the restoration, Rhett kept us informed about all the work and let us know about any changes. He knew someone that was able to make a custom oak vanity for our odd shaped bath with only a few days wait. We ran into problems with the insurance company not wanting to pay for some of the restoration. Rhett talked to them for us and got everything covered. They have a detailed computer program that shows value and replacement costs. Rhett let us change up a few things during the remodel with no problem and was always easy to talk with. He was great to work with from start to finish. Our family room, game room and bath are beautiful. I highly recommend Green Clean.

I called the company twice to set up a time for carpet cleaning. I was aware that they advertised that they did disaster clean ups (this was before the current flooding problems in the North Metro) but their ads indicated that they did regular carpet cleaning also. My calls were never returned, and I scheduled another company through Angie's List. I know they have a very good reputation for disaster clean up and they should drop the other from their advertisments if they don't have time to respond to calls.

I could not be more pleased and impressed with Green Clean. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Jason came out to give an estimate--he was terrific, very honest, low pressure and knowledgeable. It was important to us to go with a green company, and he was able to explain how his services were different from other companies and the advantages of going green for carpet cleaning. He explained the options and he broke the estimate down by rooms, so we could decide how much we wanted them to do. I called the next day to schedule the cleaning, and they were able to offer a date that worked well for me. The cleaners, Cody and Roger, were terrific. They arrived on time and were so friendly and careful. They explained everything and answered my questions. Our dining room rug had some really bad stains, which I doubted anyone could clean, but they got them up. The carpet looks like new. They worked around all the big furniture. My only minor complaint is that we didn't get a reminder/confirmation call the day before the cleaning, and we didn't get the promised checking-in call the day after that we were promised. Overall a wonderful experience. I would definitely hire them again and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Our dishwasher overflowed and created a flood in the kitchen as well as in the basement bedroom immediately beneath the kitchen. Substantial water was trapped in the floor and ceiling. Through their efforts, Green Clean was able to save the wood floor that alleviated the need for substantial repairs in the kitchen. The basement bedroom was destroyed and required significant work. Green Clean was able restore the bedroom to its original condition. Green Clean and all of their subs were very responsive, did good work and were respectful of our time and property. I would highly recommend the services of Green Clean.

I had ice dam issues this winter (for the first time in 5 years!) creating water damage on my ceiling and walls. After a lot of research of different companies - I chose GREEN CLEAN, a company that was highly recommended to me. One of the owners of this company is Rhett Trotter, the Project Manager. He came out to give me a FREE estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions, during the estimate appointment. This company works closely with insurance companies and/or with homeowners. The price he quoted me was below what money my insurance gave me and it even included my wet bathroom ceiling (something that was not even in the insurance bid!). Rhett communicated with me about each step of this project which I really appreciated! He was extremely professional, responsive to emails/questions, and a really great person to work with. This company is a one stop company... they gave a free estimate, they came out to dry the walls, they patched the walls, and they repainted the walls. They also sealed my attic frame to limit dampness/wetness. I was not home when they came, and they made sure they sealed in the areas they were working on, moved furniture, and took care of everything while I was at work. Rhett was quite knowledgable of various people/contacts in the field who could help me with other misc. projects. Rhett and his team let me know what was happening every step of the way including when I could expect people at my house completing the work. Throughout the entire project, I had million of questions and sent emails and called Rhett a lot - he was always happy to hear from me and able to answer every single question. Even at the final stages of the project I kept asking them to do different things, and they did without complaint. Talk about EXCELLENT customer service! I was pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed. I would go with this company again in a heart beat!!

Green Clean was great working with my insurance company. I forwarded the estimates to insurance and they worked directly w/ Green Clean. I'm assuming the prices were reasonable or insurance would have refused to pay! They started promptly and came early the first day because I had to leave for work. They did a reasonable job keeping me informed of who would be coming to do what when (only one time they were somewhat vague on when painting would start, but only by a day or so. Everyone I met was polite and professional. They discovered an additional problem I was having with the roof and arranged for another person to handle it at a reasonable price. The only complaint I can think of is at the end of the project when they were rehanging things in my bathroom (medicine cabinet, etc) - they didn't apepar to even make an effort to clean the sink off. But out of a multi-week project, one minor complaint isn't bad. :)

We had ice dams that leaked into 2 bedrooms, causing ceiling and wall water damage. Green Clean came out to give an estimate on the water mitigation portion, and also to complete the entire rebuild. They worked with our insurance company to get everything covered, including resurfacing all the hardwood floors. The hardwood floors were not in the original insurance appraisal, but Green Clean informed our insurance that it would all have to be resurfaced. This was a huge bonus for us. Green Clean estimated that the project would be done within 4 weeks, which was vital to us as we were expecting our first child in about a month. They started the project promptly and were vey respectful of my pregnant wife. They sealed off the construction area and used air scrubbers and air filters to keep the dust levels down. They constantly updated us on their progress and timeline. They worked with the insurance and handled every aspect of the project, including drywall, painting, electrical, city inspections and the hardwood floors. They added water ramps to the interior roof and blew in a large amount of insulation to the attic, both above what insurance quoted. The bedrooms turned out very well and the hardwood floors with new baseboards look great! If I ever had any questions or concerns, they were always readily available. Rhett (our project manager) took it personal that we were 100% satisfied, and did all the little things to ensure we were happy. Throughout the project everyone was respectful, friendly, easy to work with, and did a quality job. The fact that the project was done "green" and finished in the 4 week estimated (just beating the birth of our son) made it even better. I would highly recommend Rhett and Green Clean to anyone who needs water mitigation or general rebuilding work!

Very well. Rhett was professional, courteous, and upfront about Green Cleans focus / areas of expertise. Came out to the house twice - once for an initial inspection; a second time with a general contractor who had more experience with external patios / walls (source of leak into the exercise room). Rhett and the contractor worked to recreate the leak (using a hose until they could induce water flows into the exercise room) to pinpoint the source of the problem. Rhett then excused himself (at NO charge to us) in favor of the general contractor since the resolution is something the contractor is better positioned to do. I very much appreciate Rhett focusing on solving the problem vs. selling work.

It was good. They were able to come the same day and they were able to clean a few things that I forgot in the estimate. The quality and price seemed fine.

I spoke with Jason from Green Clean on Friday and explained the water damage caused by ice dams. He explained this is an urgent matter and would like to get someone out that evening to assess the damage. He was unable to get someone out that evening but agreed to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning. I was impressed with the quick response. I met with Rhett on Saturday morning and he was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. He utilized a device for measuring moisture in the walls and ceilings to determine the extent of the damage. He also created a layout of the house on his computer and utlilized the same software program the insurance companies use to determine the cost of the project. He stated the project would take approx. 4-5days to complete which turned out to be right on. I did notice the plastic used to seal the rooms had come undone in a few spots and the company sub-contracted to remove the radiator seemed to have damaged my wood floor, spilled water in my basement making the rugs wet and turned down the temperature on my water heater and did not turn it back up. I discovered this when I filled the tub for a bath only to find it ice cold! I do not fault Green Clean for this, however, I did let Rhett know how unsatisfied I was with that company as it falls under their contract. Clean-up was good for the most part, but one room did not appear to have been cleaned at all and the tub was smudged. My tub needs refinishing anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. I also wish they would have covered the furniture in the living room as I made the request even though the work was done in the next room over. As a result, the furniture was slightly dusty. I am unable to grade the price as I have nothing to compare it to.

They did a great job. They did a free estimate and they didn?t charge me for anything extra. Their price was competitive and I felt like they went out of their way and everything with the machines.

Green Clean came out to clean my carpet because I sold my house. It was very important that the showed up on time because we had the whole house was empty and the new buyers were scheduled to move in later that same day. They did a excellent job at a excellent price. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

We had a fire in our home. Our insurance company originally referred us to a company who we hired, but their work after 2 week was unsatisfactory so we then looked into other options. We originally hired Green Clean for carpet cleaning. They do a fantastic job with carpet cleaning, but they are also a restoration company. We realized that and interviewed them. I have chemical sensitivity so we had to choose a company carefully. They had products with fragrance and they had products that didn't. The first day they came, one of the two men who own the company came over and came with a crew of 4 people. They came in professional trucks with their name on the outside. He knew about my chemical sensitivity and he knew we had been out of our house for over 2 weeks. He spent an hour or two just explaining what they would do and answering my questions. It was an 8 step program and he gave me samples of what they would do. I needed to smell the products and one of them was very strong to me. He said he would make some phone calls to find substitute products, he was willing to work with me even though I had some special issues. Then, he said he had a product that they used with another client who is also sensitive to smell and he asked if I would like to talk to them. He called them up and I spoke with them. Then he had another product that was also strong so I asked if we could paint it on a board and see if they smell would go away the next day. He said sure and painted it on the board. Nothing was a big deal to him, he was willing to do anything to help me. After the experience was through I was just stunned by how much he was willing to help me with this issue I had. I also noticed on his business card that they had won the 2009 BBB Integrity award. The first day they were in our house they got more done than the first company had done in 2 weeks. It was nothing short of amazing. They removed everything from the basement. The other company wanted me to write down all the toys and where we bought them so the insurance company could reimburse us. Green Clean offered to take pictures of all of our things individually for us then inventory everything on his laptop for us to review. The difference between these companies was night and day. They cleaned our carpet again at the end to make double sure the job was done right. They work so hard, there were several people over here working for several days before they went on to another job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs restoration work.

I chose to not use them since I found someone less expensive.

I am unsure if I would ever use them again.
