Green Clean Restoration & Carpet Care

After our power was restored, we found Green Clean from Angie's List and called in the evening. They called back later in the same evening (on Saturday) and discussed our situation. Since the problems were widespread in the area, they had already gotten many calls and said that it might be a week before they could come out. They gave me the name of an alternate company to call if I wanted to possibly get the work done sooner. All of the companies were swamped with requests so we decided to wait for Green Clean to call. We were pleasantly surprised to have Green Clean call on Monday to say they could come out then because they were already working in our area. Rhett, the project manager, and others came out and started work immediately to remove damaged materials and to begin the drying out process. Rhett thoroughly explained their work process and said he would work with our insurance company (Travelers) to agree on the covered scope of the project. They set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry out the room. During this process, they came out and checked on the progress and throughout, maintained superior communication with us telling us what was going to happen and when it would occur. Rhett was very good working with our insurance adjuster to come to a reasonable agreement on the scope of work and associated costs. Each person that came to our house was pleasant, competent and courteous. Once to room was completely dry, Rhett told us it would be a number of weeks before they could do the restoration work due to their heavy workload. During this interval, Rhett maintained communication with us and they actually came out sooner than expected to do the restoration work. We went to the carpet installer's showroom to select the new carpet and pad and to the paint store to select the paint color. The restoration work proceeded smoothly and after a couple of weeks it was all done. We were impressed with the care that everyone from Green Clean showed to make sure we were happy with their work. They always called to tell us when people were coming and what they would be doing. Following completion of the project, Rhett called to make sure we were satisfied with the work and to offer to come out and correct anything, no matter how minor it was. We needed no additional work as they did an outstanding job and the room looks fantastic. We can't say enough how impressed we were with all of the Green Clean people. They were careful, very competent, pleasant and just really nice people who cared about doing a great job.

When our basement flooded during the storm and power outage on 6/22, I called Green Clean after reading reviews on Angie's List. They took my name and Rhett called back within an hour. He said they would do what they could to come out asap. They came out the next morning (Sunday) which was several days earlier than any other company I called. They explained the process to me and went to work. They were very professional, knew what they were doing and worked quickly. They extracted the water from the carpet, told me the carpet was ruined and needed to be replaced. They hauled all the carpet away, leaving a portion for the insurance adjuster to verify. They brought in several blowers and dehumidifers to dry out the basement and came back every day to check on the progress and left them there several days to ensure the basement was dry. I highly recommend them.

This team worked oh so very hard to get the mess in my basement cleaned up from the storm on 6/20. They were professional, friendly and caring. The work they completed looked as if I had did it myself; meticulously and expertly completed. I would hire this team again in a heart beat (However, I hope I never have to use their services again). I would gladly refer them to others. GREAT team, great JOB.

The Green Clean man was professional and completely honest with me. He gave me the proper advise. His analysis was free. If I ever need water mitigation services, I will call Green Clean for their services. I was very impressed with Green Clean.

Not only did Green Clean show up on time they were very efficient and tidy. They went the extra mile in making sure that we were pleased with the final outcome! We will use them again!

Rhett was extraordinarily responsive to my request for service. He arrived at my home at 8 am the evening after we spoke on the phone. The back-up in water to my house was limited to a venting system, and no damage or moisture was found anywhere else in the basement. As a result, there was no help that Rhett or his team could provide. He directed my to a plumber to fix the sump pump, and offered other solutions that I proceeded with to get the water out of the venting system. Despite being at my home for an hour or so, and accepting my calls after he left, Rhett refused to charge a "house call" fee. I felt foolish having him leaving without paying him a dime, but he insisted that he only wanted to be paid if they were going to provide service. This is unusually kind and exceptional service that was greatly appreciated.

We were thankful to have Green Clean come in and clean up the mess. Because of a large storm many water remediation companies where booked out or at maximum capacity. Despite their full load of clients Green Clean was friendly, professional, and completed the work in a very timely matter and the price was fair. Like other members have previously noted it was helpful to be an Angie's List member because it got my name on the waiting list after a large storm and they accepted a 10% off coupon offered to Angie?s List members. I would recommend Rhett and his team at Green Clean to anyone!

It went really well. They did what they said they would do and they did it when they said they would.

I spoke with several other companies during the day that were willing to put me on a list, but did not know when they would call back or get to the work. Jason is the only one the suggested calling others to get the work done as quick as possible. As it turns out, I found a company that could fit me in tomorrow. They are not has highly rated as Green Clean, but I don't want to wait and risk mold damage. If I could afford to wait, Green Clean would have been my choice.

Green Clean was wonderful considering this was an awful mess. They came the very next morning after I called (they would have come immediately if the water had not already been doing its damage for three days- the damage had been done). They answer their phones and have someone call you right back with an appointment. They are very patient and understanding in a stressful situation. I had drain tile installed during this time by another company who does that only. Green clean then (with a sub contractor) relaid the carpet with a new section of pad. Green clean then cleaned the whole carpeted area. Everyone was very pleasant, prompt and polite from the office to Rhett to Jason to Eric to Ben and Josh. They always kept everyone up to date over the extended time period from start to finish (the drain tile installation and drying time for the concrete extended the whole project). They would call even if they would only be a few minutes late.The office called when all of the work was complete to make sure everything was totally satisfactory. They were great!

Green Clean responded almost immediately to our call, and has continued to uphold a great standard of response times with all employees and contractors. They are very easy to schedule and work with in terms of timing. They are extremely clear in their explanation and recommendations of service actions, and accommodated our changing requests for service as we made different decisions down the line.

We decided to have our basement carpets cleaned, as we have two cats (who shed a lot!) and two young kids. We have lived in the house for five years, so the carpets definitely needed some attention. We called Green Clean for an in-home estimate prior to actually booking the service, and the response was impressive--they provided a free, in-home estimate that was accurate. When we decided to schedule, they were booked about a week and a half out, but we were able to book the date/time of our preference. On the day of the service, two employees called before arriving. When they arrived, they were courteous, friendly, professional, and communicated very well. They came in, covered their shoes, laid sheeting so as not to scuff or damage our hardwood floors, and explained (in detail) how our carpets would be cleaned. They moved furniture, cleaned the carpets thoroughly, and cleaned up before leaving. Finally, they went over the appropriate dry times, referral opportunities for future discounts, and told us to call if we had any questions or concerns after they left. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and the quality of work (especially for the price!)!

A toilet overflowed on the upper level of the home and the water flowed into the vent system, which traveled into the ceilings of multiple rooms on the lower level and broke through one ceiling and drained through several light fixtures, soaking the ceilings, walls and floors. I didn't realize the extent of the damage until the following day. At that time, I found Green Clean on Angie's List and called. Rhett called within a couple hours and immediately came out and surveyed the damage. He helped me get started on what to do with insurance and was able to start the mitigation process right away. Once the mitigation was finished, Rhett met with the insurance person and submitted the estimate of damage and got everything taken care of for me. He let me know what I needed to do and pick out and kept me updated as to when members of his team would be out and what work they'd be doing. He was very patient with my endless questions and delays in my selection of materials and occasionally changing my mind on what I wanted. And I can't say enough good things about the members of his team as well. Everyone was extremely kind and hard working. They were also very patient with my son's endless questions about what they were working on, as he was fascinated by the whole process. The end result of everything was nothing short of miraculous. When Rhett promised that he'd have everything fixed and it would be even better than before, I had my doubts, but I was so very wrong. It is so, so much better than before. The stellar workmanship is evident in everything they did.

Arrived on time, finished work in about an hour. Explained when able to return furniture to room.

After weeks of getting the run around from other companies I contacted Rhett Trotter and the Green Clean team. I explained to them that a renter I had let multiple cats urinate throughout the entire house and has left a horrible smell in the home. The smell was so bad that my new renters were threating to move out if I could not get the issue resolved. Since I had already invested $8000 in the repair and renters threatening to leave I was desperate. Rhett and his team answered all of my questions and set up a consolation time on the spot to come bid out the job. Within 48 hours Rhett was at my doorstep and thoroughly went through every aspect of the repairs. Which included removing the lament floors, carpet, stair skirt boards, installing a closet door, removing and installing new drywall, mudding, tapping sanding and eliminating the odor that had wicked into the floor and walls. Rhett broke down each aspect of the job and even allowed me to do the work that I could do on my own. The most important thing that Rhett and his team did was communicate not only with myself but also with my renters so that every step along the way everyone knew when and what was happening. I own multiple rentals and have had many companies in to do work on my properties and I can honestly say that I have never had such an amazing team work on them. I have another job that I am doing on my personal home and there is no other company I would trust with the job. Thank You Green Clean!

Very pleased with the service and the professionalism of the Green Clean team.

The process went as well as it could have. It took a bit longer than we would have liked but that was during the time when Duluth flooded and there were alot of people needing help. Otherwise it went well, I appreciated the approach Rhett used. He took one step at a time, knew the process to work with the insurance company to make sure all was covered and went above and beyond in some cases. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Rhett cares and values his reputation.

From the moment the first call was placed to the end, it was all A plus! They were just amazing. They were never even a minute late on any days! I would never use anybody else! I have used lots of contractors in my time, and they are by far the best I have ever used. I could not relate to the insurance man and Rhett, the owner, did a great job of dealing with them for me. For me, the key here is that they were absolutely honest. I am an elderly lady and I have been lied to time and time again. To be able to trust Green Clean was so important to me.

All of the Green Clean employees that I had contact with were very professional, helpful, and personable. After making my appointment I had some minor qualms about the process so I called the office and spoke with the owner of the company, Jason. He explained in great detail the entire cleaning process and thoroughly answered the questions that I had. The cleaning team (Cody and Ben) arrived punctually, examined the sofa, and explained again exactly what they were going to do. To be honest, I really didn't think that there would be much improvement, but Cody thought that there was a good chance it would be better if not spotlessly clean. I was totally impressed by these guys. They worked for over two hours, scrubbing, rinsing and drying the sofa - I've never seen anyone work harder. They were very respectful of my home, and left the premises cleaner than when they came. There were no noxious fumes or odors. And, most importantly, they worked a miracle, and the sofa turned out beautifully - all of the grime and grease was removed, the fabric looked fabulously clean! I would recommend Green Clean without hesitation, - they had the knowledge, the work ethic and the professional conduct that we always hope for when we hire in a contractor.

They did a great job. The people were very friendly and understanding of the situation.

Green Clean gave me an appointment. Called to confirm and then called when they were on their way to my house. The team was professional and polite. The met my high expectations based on previous experience with the company. SInce they had a minimum price to charge for the service they also cleaned my stairway to assure I got value for the price.

There were a few delays on my part and the whole thing took about two months in total. They got everything cleaned up but they didn’t really have anything to do with the carpeting piece.

I get my carpet cleaned at least once per year and have used many different companies over the years. This company is amazing. Great service, great price, great results!! and they stand behind the product if your not satisfied. Crew was professional and knowledgable. I won't use anyone else from now on...Keep up the great work Green Clean and don't sacrifice on your quality and service!
