The team was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They located the problem in less than 15 minutesand advise how to correct it . Because it was such a short visit, they didn't charge anything! Amazing courtesy and service.

They responded very quickly to our emergency. A floor drain was plugged and caused water to overflow in the basement. Eric pulled up the carpet and padding then set up fans to dry out the area. We really appreciated the prompt response which minimized any damage from the water. Another crew came out to replace the pad and put the carpet back in place. They were unable to complete the task but I was not charged for this work and Eric referred me to another flooring company which did a great job making the carpet look as it did before the overflow caused by a plugged drain.

Our living room furniture has been subject to an active toddler, clumsy parents, and two shedding cats for years. It was time for a thorough cleaning. I looked at upholstery cleaners on Angie's LIst and gave Green Clean a call. Scheduling an appointment was a piece of cake and the agent on the other end of the phone was very nice and professional. She gave me a two hour arrival window a few days after I called. I received a reminder call the day before the appointment, and two guys showed up within the promised time. They introduced themselves, provided the pricing in advance, and went to work. I went to a different floor of the house and they let me know when they were finished. They answered all my questions and were very professional and courteous. They were done in less than an hour. Our furniture looks and smells better than before. I'm so glad we called these guys. I highly recommend their services.

They accommodated my schedule, were on time, cleaned an area rug for free above and beyond, and gave great advice. I like the people I have met with Green Clean. Hope I never have flooded basement, but if I do, I know they are excellent at restorations after an emergency.

Work was done quickly and completely satisfactorily. Each person who did a piece of the clean up and restoration was very responsive and professional. They even helped with our insurance claim to make sure we received what was fair.

They came quickly and did a stellar job cleaning up after a pipe broke and got my finished basement wet. They are now about halfway through repairing and replacing the damaged material. This is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They have been prompt, professional, thorough and reasonably priced. My only complaint is with Angie's List for not having a rating higher than A. Thanks

It went great. We had lined up another contractor to do the work but it didn't work out so I contacted Rhett at Green Clean. He was able to squeeze me in his schedule and come out and help us finish repairing the damage. They also helped us finish some remodeling projects we had started but not yet finished.The team did a great job and I am really thankful they were able to help us out in such a short time. I would highly recommend Green Clean to anyone who needs help with clean-up, mitigation and repairs.

It went great. The problem happened after-hours but they returned my call within 30 minutes. They came out the same night and did preliminary clean up to remove the water and trash (items destroyed by water). They came out the next morning to finish cleaning and disinfecting more thoroughly in the affected areas.

This was a horrible problem, made just bearable by the wonderful people at GreenClean. They cleaned up the mess from a backed-up drain, clearing out our basement. They saved and cleaned what they could and removed what could not be saved. They were prompt, fast, and professional. No one wants this problem, but they kept us sane.

Green Clean is still in the process of doing work for me. It takes 2-3 months to get the work done. I'm partially complete with the work. They were top-rated that's why I went with them. They were professional and knew what they're doing. The experience was very good. It was the time of the year where people had a lot of water damage. When I could get them, they showed up right on time and did exactly what they said they would.

During initial contact the person I spoke with patiently listened to me describe the situation, gave me great advice on some immediate term mitigation steps and agreed to contact me as soon as their schedule would allow. I took steps advised and kept the problem from getting worse. A few weeks later I was contacted about scheduling service. I talked to the potential technician and gave him an update on my situation. He asked several questions and suggested that paying them to do any work was probably not needed. He gave me very specific suggestions to "finish the clean up", including product they use and steps they would take. It was pretty simple and I was able to execute myself and save the visit and work charges. In all contacts, the company was very helpful, professional, honest and willing to help me without any payment whatsoever.

After a very heavy rain overnight we lost power. With out our sump pump running, the water eventually backed up and and started seeping up through the floor completely soaking the carpet. Green Clean arrived on time, within a couple of hours after I called. They were in and out quickly (2.5 hours) - they pulled back all the carpet, removed all the wet padding and sprayed to prevent mold. Their employees were friendly, considerate and hard working. They left dryers and a dehumidifier for a few days then returned, took moisture measurements and removed their equipment. They usually do the whole thing from removing carpet to replacing padding and putting everything back. However, with the epic rains this June (2014) they were swamped and it took them quite a while to get back to us to discuss the replacement of padding. They called and asked if we could pursue the padding replacement (apologizing for the delay) and carpet resetting on our own. They were overwhelmed with demand after all the rain and thought it would be faster if we pursued finishing the work with another company. I agreed and they gave us the name of a recommended company. We never contacted their recommendation and instead are having the work performed by a company we've worked with in the past. Overall Green Clean was great to work with.

I called Green Clean after the recent heavy rains flooded my basement. Even though they were swamped with business (excuse the pun) they called me back quickly. Once they were able to come to my house they did a very thorough and professional job of removing the ruined carpet and drywall, and setting up fans and dehumidifiers to dry out the basement. Eric Nelson, the lead technician, did a good job of explaining the process of drying out the basement, and I am confident that they removed the areas that mold might grow. I will use this company to replace the drywall. I highly recommend this company if you have to deal with the unfortunate situation of a wet basement.

I searched Angie's list for provider to dry out very soggy basement following excessive snow and rain. GC looked super and many customers had already rated them highly! I called for appointment, was treated courteously and kindly right away & then immediately got a return call. Rhett spent lots of time listening to all our details... "crawl space is now a lake... carpet wet"! He understood our urgency, and REALLY wanted to help, but had 10-12 Angie's list members ahead of us. He continued brainstorming for ways to help us. He ended up recommending another highly rated local company whom he thought could get to us sooner, assuring me that they're extremely good also. He actually said to me, "I'm willing to lose your job so you'll be able to have the help you need right away." Now, that's one of the finest examples of outstanding customer service I've ever known!! I HIGHLY COMMEND Rhett for his deep desire to help. I give Rhett and Green Clean my highest praise and thanks, and will happily recommend this company to others!! Working with Green Clean was great. From the start, they were extremely communicative and detailed which I appreciate. During construction, they ensured my home was as tidy as possible. After the job was finished, there were a couple of minor follow ups--which the team came back and took care of without questioning and in a timely manner. I would work with Green Clean again!

We became victims of the "polar vortex" when a pipe froze and burst in our downstairs bedroom around dinner time on a Saturday night. Our insurance company did not have any water damage firms to recommend in this area and I found Green Clean through Angie's List. Rhett was on the scene an hour after I called and promptly went to work removing soggy insulation and wallboard. He took up the carpet pad and got fans running to dry out the room. Over the next few days, he worked seamlessly with our homeowners insurance and provided everything they needed to quickly process and pay our damage claim. Green Clean is also a general contractor and we have retained them to do the repair work on the damaged bedroom. Due to our calendar, the work is just getting underway, but I expect it to go every bit as well as the damage clean up.

We have used Green Clean twice over the past couple of years. Once was for major water damage from ice dams, the other was for water cleanup and mold mitigation after a flooded basement. Green Clean was out to our house almost immediately after both instances and they talked us through various options for handling the problems. When we chose the option that was best for us, they got to work right away. Although both circumstances were a struggle to deal with, Green Clean was by far the highlight of any service provider we hired. They simply do what they say they'll do - and they do it on time. It's easy to see why they're an Angie's List Super Service award winner and they're rated well with the BBB. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them to anyone. It's easy to work with them.

We cut out the carpet ourselves and my husband replaced the water heater. I called them because we had a lot of wet sheetrock. They came out and did a great job. They were very professional in the service they performed, however, they were unprofessional with the pricing. I would not use them again because they could provide pricing verbally but could not provide an established price list.

This is a very good firm. We reviewed Angie's list and found their prior recommendations to be impressive. We were not disappointed. The sewer back-up happened early Tuesday morning. Within a couple of hours of our initial contact, Eric from Green Clean was at our home. He was very knowlegable and began working on logistics (manpower,dumpster, etc.) right away. Thursday morning, the dumpster was delivered as scheduled and Green Clean went to work. As many as 10 people moved everything out, making clear decisions on what to save and what to toss. They set up an area in our house to store the items they sanitized and loaded the dumpster with the bad stuff. Pretty black and white, and we asked enough questions to be comfortable that the save/toss decisions were right. They literally did everything that day, finishing with a sanitizing wash down of the entire basement. The last truck didn't leave until about 8pm. Green clean set up a drying system with industrial dehumidifiers and air blowers. They came back to finish a couple of details, including literally scraping up our vinyl flooring in the laundry room. They also provided us of an item by item list of what was disposed of, which will help with our insurance claim. We were very pleased with the service. It made a bad situation tolerable.

They were very professional and very efficient in checking the square footage. I thought they were a little high. The fact that they come out to give you an estimate before they do anything I think is pretty good because a lot of places won’t do that. They came when they said they were going to come, and they were very professional. They explained the products that they use which are environmentally friendly.

Even though the contractor said they would take care of everything, my insurance agent suggested getting a professional?s assessment to ensure that the contractor was doing the right things. Eric came out and started taking moisture readings in the affected areas. This included going down into a crawl space where he found a pocket with a moisture reading of over 60%. He set me up with a dehumidifier for that area. He also went outside and tore open the plastic the contractor had now put over the exposed area to get additional readings and a visual on moisture he was detecting on a portion of the drywall and ceiling in the home that had not been cut open by the contractor. He answered all of my questions, explained everything in a clear and understandable manner, assured me that what the contractor had done so far was the right thing as well as point out what else they needed to do. He came back in 2 days to pick up the dehumidifier, re-check the moisture readings, and spent some extra time taking another look at the spot that was really wet in the crawl space. I know this was a little different scenario for Eric as he is used to also doing the work to take care of the water damage, but his assessment was excactly what I was looking for and he did an excellent job with it. He was thorough and addressed all of my concerns; helping me to understand what I needed to get my contractor to do and why. If all service companies had employees more like Eric, then there wouldn?t be a need for Angie?s List.

I give this company high marks for customer service. I wanted the sofa cleaning done before an event I was hosting and they got it scheduled quickly. They arrived promptly, guys were very pleasant, I left them with a key and they communicated with me when they were done. (They threw cleaning of a 5 ft. runner for no charge.) However, the sofa had lots of discolored areas and track lines left from the cleaning equipment - it looked worse than before. I assumed it was just the nap needing to dry further but the next day I tried rubbing/buffing but could not get them out. Green Clean took ownership of the condition and scheduled a do-over. The soft looked great after the second trip. I appreciated that they did not hesitate to correct the work, that the guys again communicated how it went and that I got a follow-up call from Annie after I'd seen it again. With that kind of responsiveness, I would use them again.

Rhett and team are very professional and responsive to my needs during their work in cleaning up mold from a water leak at my house. Overall an A experience. I don't know if their prices are competitive because we didn't shop around.

The employee arrived on time. He reviewed the pricing, measured the room then confirmed we fell into the minimum-price category which was suitable. He helped us put the draperies on hangers to hoist them above the carpet to avoid any water damage before he proceeded. We had removed all the furniture that was moveable before he arrived, so operation went smoothly and quickly. When finished he gave us information sheets detailing what not to do, etc. until the floor was dry and gave us the plastic "booties" to wear whenever we needed to walk on the carpet. The only correction was in the spelling of our name on the contract which the office employee had mispelled. Our recommendation would befor her/him to repeat the spelling while on the phone.
