Description of Work: Grahn's basically created new cushions for me. They used my fabric and, using my very old cushions, made new cushion forms and upholstered the new cushions. They even added a cute trim that really brightened up the whole look of the cushions. The communication was excellent and they were quite willing to work with a tight deadline that I had. Definitely want to work with them again.

She recommended a place to go for discounted fabrics to help keep the price down. The workmanship was meticulous, and they completed the chairs a week ahead of schedule. I will definitely use Grahn's for future upholstering work.

+ -1 moreMAN I SPOKE WITH WAS NOT ENTIRELY UNPLEASANT, BUT ALMOST SOUNDED LIKE THEY DID NOT WANT THE BUSINESS. HE WAS PUT OFF WHEN I SAID I HAD MY OWN FABRIC, ASKING ME WHERE I FOUND IT, THEN DOUBTED THAT IT WAS UPHOLSTERY FABRIC AS THE PRICE WAS TOO LOW, IMPLYING THAT ANYTHING UNDER $25 PER YARD WAS POOR QUALITY. HE ASKED IF I COULD BRING THE SOFA TO THEM FOR AN ESTIMATE, BUT SAID I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE IT WITH THEM AT THAT TIME AND WOULD HAVE TO BRING IT TO THEM AGAIN IF THEY PERFORMED THE WORK, OR THEY COULD ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION FOR $90 EACH WAY.

+ -1 moreTHE FABRIC I CHOSE WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE THAT I FOUND ANYWHERE, INFLATING THE PRICE. HOWEVER THE LABOR WAS ON A PAR WITH EVERYONE ELSE. THE WORK WAS EXCEPTIONAL!

SHE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING IN SENDING ME FABRIC SAMPLES BECAUSE IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GET TO HER SHOP DURING THE DAY. SHE EVEN CAME TO MY HOUSE TWICE TO GIVE ME A QUOTE BECAUSE I LOCKED MYSELF OUT THE FIRST TIME! (SHE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT IT.) THE WORK WAS ALSO DONE A WEEK AHEAD OF TIME.
