Description of Work: Initially, there was discussion of replacing the lower panel or the complete door because of a dent in the lower panel. I asked for time to think it over and he was fine with that. When he called me back with the follow up call, I said that I would go with what I had paid for and we agreed on Thurs the following week. But on Thursday he didn't come. However, I did get a call from him a couple days later to do it the following Thursday. I told him I had expected him the last Thurs. and asked what happened. He apologized and stated that he had been very busy and would next Thursday work? I said yes and he promised to be there. He did come as promised, apologized again. I said ok and that I decided to have the metal piece (that holds the rubber bottom on) replaced as well. He said he happened to have that on hand and he did the job, tuned up the door and was done in no time. He did an excellent job, my door is so much better and I no longer have light coming in around it and it rides up & down so much better. He was very knowledgeable, professional and honest. I would use him again and ask that he enter his appointments into his calendar on his phone.

Description of Work: Garage Doors Plus "tuned up" my double garage door. The representative arrived on time and was very efficient and friendly. He showed how I can lubricate the hinges to keep the door in good working and explained what lubricant to use. The door now operates much more quietly.

Description of Work: This was an angie's list 'deal' - $39 for a garage door inspection and service which is definitely an inexpensive service call. The guy arrived on time, was very pleasant but basically looked at it, sprayed the moving parts and was gone in 5 mins. I've had some issues with the door mechanism - not staying closed at times - but he told me I'd need to invest in a new mechanism if problems continue. Maybe so - but he never actually looked at it. So, maybe you get what you pay for...

Description of Work: Very professional and responsive. Dave showed me exactly what was going on with my garage door and adjusted it and installed a new punch code opener. He lined up the electric eyes, which had been out of whack for years. He showed me how we could tell that our very old opener might be getting close to wearing out. NO PRESSURE to replace it on the spot. However, we will be getting him to install a new one premptively in the very near future because this experiance was so good.
