Tom recommended a door based upon my needs, and he informed me of what needed to be done to repair the jambs that had wood rot. During installation, he notified me of a problem with the location of my garage door opener from the previous installer (off center), and he moved it for me at no extra charge. When the job was complete, he gave me maintenance advice and even recommended a product to use for door lubrication. The new door looks great! I couldn't be happier.

Thomas was very good at explaining over the phone what he thought the repair would entail; gave me some heads up that it might be more if this or that was not in place. In the end, I needed a new opener, too, so the cost was significantly more than I expected, but there was nothing I could do about that.

Follow-up to a previous review. Everything worked normally the day before, but today the garage door would not close. Dave gave me troubleshooting steps over the phone & the problem was gone 3 minutes later. Btw - the problem came down to user error, not an equipment fault. One of the safety sensors was lit up properly & the other one looked dead; it was actually the 'good' one (which I'd ignored) had been knocked out of alignment.

I called on a Saturday, late afternoon, when my garage door broke. He was able to come to our home on Sunday morning and replaced the garage door opener within an hour. He also repaired the weather stripping on the smaller overhead door and did an excellent job.

Couldn't have been happier with the entire expierience. I asked about other spring options and they said it would be perfectly fine with the existing equiptment and quoted me a great price to just repair. Even explained the likely cause of the issue, when we asked how it might have gone so bad. Can't recommend them enough.

On a Sunday morning my wife and I returned home in her car and discovered the garage door had failed. The main spring was broken and both cables had snapped leaving the door in the closed position. The door was too heavy to raise manually. My car was trapped inside. I called Garage Doors Plus on Sunday afternoon and arranged for them to come out first thing Monday morning. On Monday morning Jessie from Garage Doors Plus, LLC arrived ahead of time and quoted a price for the repair that was so low I found I could afford to have some upgrades installed. He replaced the cables and drums and converted the one main-spring assembly to a stronger two main-spring configuration rated for more than twice the service life of the old spring. He also installed nylon rollers, which greatly reduced the noise and eliminated the need for lubrication. All this in two hours and he was done. Jessie was courteous and knowledgeable. He turned my old garage door into a smooth and quietly opening door that is consistent with the attractive appearance of my house from the street. The cost was half what I would have estimated it to cost and the door is a safer door today as well !

Checked out the entire system and gave an honest assessment - most parts were in good shape. Corrected some odd wiring likely from when it was installed 10+ years ago. Provided a budgetary estimate should I want to replace the opener - no pressure, just honest conversation. Will definitely be calling them if anything breaks or when I am ready to replace the opener.

Jake arrived exactly when expected and was very thorough and professional. He was able to bend the tracks back into place instead of replacing them. He noticed the cables were rusted while servicing the tracks and replaced those as well. He oiled all of the wheels and hinges and now the door is quieter than ever. I highly recommend Garage Doors Plus.

Dave came out on a Saturday and got our badly damaged garage door working again. I would definitely call him again for any future repairs.

I had to reschedule since he showed up late for the first appointment. The second appointment he showed up at the very end of the two hour window, than needed to leave as he did not have the needed stripping and was gone for twice as long as he projected. I was happy with the actual work and education about taking care of a garage door.
