Waited for a call to let me know when the service person would arrive as we were told to expect, no call was received. The serviceman did arrive within the time allotted, however. Service was performed as expected. Overall,we were pleased.

The door had been noisy and operating poorly, but now it works great and quietly.

I thought I was paying to see if there were any major issues with my garage door and opener I really did not want to buy more services and yet I was talked into some. But when it was all said and done I believe I paid too much for the "repairs". The quoted cost of further work seemed fairly high compared to other providers that I have used.

Did what was advertised. Additionally replaced sealing bottom strip and tapped loosed metal bottom. Hence additonal 30.00 above groupon cost, but that was expected. So total with groupon was 69.00

One of our garage doors had been re-opening after closing. I used an Angie's DEAL and had them adjust both garage doors; they have been working correctly now for almost three weeks. The best part is they were the only garage door professionals that were responsive and came over the same day I called (about two hours after I called). Great service and great timing!

The service person came and inspected the garage door and recommended things that might need servicing. We did not buy any other services and just needed the tune up. The service person tuned up our garage door and hurriedly left without testing to make sure that it was properly working. It was partly our fault as well to not have the door tested before the service person left. An hour later after he left, we tried to close the garage door but it wouldn't close all the way down and kept opening up. We immediately called the service person and he says that he would come back tomorrow. Upon returning the next day, he says that he would not charge us for this trip back but will charge if he has to come back again. He then did some more adjustments and the door finally closed properly. After a few days, we noticed that the garage door buckled a bit and makes noises. We ended up adjusting the door ourselves and did not bother calling him back.

Everything went great! It was easy to schedule the appointment. The guy called the night before to confirm and when he was on his way. The new opener is great and the garage door opens very smooth after being "tuned up". He made sure we knew how to operate everything before leaving.

I was very happy with the work performed. Thomas removed the existing garage door opener, adjusted the door springs, replaced the worn out door rollers, and installed the new opener, sensors, and keypad. He explained the features of the new opener and how to program the keyless entry pad and remote transmitters. He arrived on time, did a very professional installation, and provided a call beforehand to let me know he was on the way. I would do business with them again in the future.

Tom performed garage door tune-up per Angie's List special buy... I had noticed my garage door performance getting worse and worse over the last several months. During the tuneup Tom found that one of the springs had broken. Obviously, this was the reason for the poor performance. He recommended replacement, but cautioned me that because the spring had been broken for some time the motor and gears may need to be replaced, too. I feared that this would turn into a big deal fast, and was admittedly concerned that Tom would tell me that the motor needed to be replaced and I would not have a clue whether this was true or not. However, after replacing the springs, and subsequent inspection, Tom confirmed that the motor was still in great shape and thus did not need replacing. The garage door function was considerably improved - no longer loud, or sounding like it was going to break in half. I had a smooth running machine. He offered warranty protection for a nominal fee but actually advised against me buying it because he expected that my garage door would perform well throughout the life of the warranty - saving me money. At the end, he showed me tips to keep the garage door functioning well. Overall a vast improvement in my garage door performance from a hardworking, punctual, and honest guy.

The person installing the garage came to assess the door and give us an estimate. He was very courteous, good natured and knowledgeable. We scheduled a time for the new installation. He arrived a little early (about 15 minutes - not a problem), He told us again what he would do and worked diligently until everything was completed in a timely manner. He took the old door way. We are pleased with the new door and pleased with the attitude and professionalism of the person who installed it.

It went extremely well. Dave was prompt, explained his product, answered all our questions. Our new doors look fantastic. The work looks very professional, and was completed in less time than was originally expected. I would highly recommend Garage Doors Plus.
