Unfortunately that was not the only issue and I will end up needing a new opener. He offered a really low price and I will be hiring him to install it. He did not pressure me nor did I feel like he was trying to persuade me into buying a new one. I was not willing to put up with the hassle the current one provides and decided on my own. The price below is the price of the tune up, not the new garage door opener.

The service call was on Monday, and by Tuesday afternoon the entire garage door replacement was finished. The new door looks and works great and we are very happy.

Thomas and Brian both came out promptly and reviewed the situation and gave us a bid. Brian also made a temporary repair to the current garage door until the new doors arrived. They communicated well and the bid was complete and competitive. They recommended a good contractor (RNR Construction) to replace the trim and they also did very nice work. Overall very pleased and would not hesitate recommending to others.

I purchased a deal through Angie's list. Response was prompt, and the job was scheduled during one of my preferred times. The technician was on schedule and professional and pleasant. He got to the task right away and explained what he was doing as well as the result.

In addition to the service, I received detailed explanation of how to do my own maintenance and what products to use.

Person was late due to a delay in repairs. Thomas called and said he would be late but gave me a time and arrived when he said. Things happen and that being said, he did a good job on the garage door. Runs more smoothly and quietly. Also, friendly to talk to and gave free advice, tips on maintenance of the door. All in all, a good deal.

While fixing the rollers, Dave found that the cables were fraying and he installed new ones for 129 dollars. As an Angie's List service provider myself, I know that the Big Deal is an attempt to earn further business. But, Dave showed me the old cables that he took off and they were indeed rusting and down to their last strands so I feel good that he caught the wear. Now my garage door operates smoothly and doesn't creak, groan, and snap any longer. I liked Dave a lot too. He was a really nice guy and he worked quickly. We did have a snafu though with scheduling but I am giving benefit of the doubt because my phone number was out of date on my Angie's List account. I'd hire again in a heartbeat.

Great!!!! It turned out I didn't need any fix. What the technician explained that these types of door is usually loud. He was very honest. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

First appointment was not kept. Late 45 minutes from the time which the scheduler promised on the second appointment. Answered multiple interrupting phone calls during the service, extending the appointment much longer than necessary. Even though I was standing there observing the entire time, very little was done to the door besides spraying the spring, installing the new rollers, and inspecting the door condition.

It went very well from the initial contact with both Thomas and Ellen, through completion with Thomas. They were very accommodating to my schedule. What a difference new rollers make! They are very smooth and quiet. I thought I needed new tracks for the rollers, which had some rust on each side, but I was told the tracks were just fine. It's refreshing to have someone be so honest! Thomas nailed down my loose weather seal, checked out my garage door opener and told me what spray to use and where to spray for maintenance. He was done in less than an hour. Will definitely use them again. Thanks Ellen and Thomas!

Free estimate from Dave was hassle free and inline with other estimates. Brian the install tech did a great job and you could tell he takes pride in his work. He hauled away the old doors and all the junk that went with them. He left a clean work site when completed. He also took the time to explain some minor operational details about the doors that will save me time in the future.

They had it repaired the same day I called.
