It was a pleasure working with Greg & his team. Greg was responsive in coming out to provide an estimate, his crew arrived on the agreed upon day. We had to be flexible as the weather dictated the exact date. They cleaned up their work area.

Last year prior to the brick paver project, I had collected two estimates for the work. At that time, I opted to install the brick paver sidewalk by myself, but remembered the ideas and creativity expressed by Greg's bid. So this fall we decided to complete the project and add a brick paver stairway based on Greg's expertise. We could not be happier with his performance and attention to detail.

Excellent. Greg showed up the first morning to go over the job again and get his people started. The entire crew was very professional and friendly. They contacted me a day before they were able to slip me into their schedule and I had another service provider coming the same day (tree trimmer). They were very accommodating so I didn't have to reschedule the tree trimming. When I wanted too make a change to the shape of the walkway, Greg was able to understand from a phone conversation what I wanted. He came back to make sure the job was done well and to show me where they had accidentally hit an underground sprinkler line. They discovered some water damage on the house once the steps were removed and were able to repair it themselves at a small additional charge. Greg was always easy to reach by phone and e-mail.

I rate this company A+!! Greg and his crew do a great job. They REALLY know the concrete business and how to do it right. I appreciate that because there are a LOT of average companies out there who skimp on materials and/or hire only summer seasonal crews. Not this one. They are punctual, professional and know how to get it right the first time. I would hire them again for other work and not even get a second bid. They are that good.

They did a great job! The work was done promptly, they communicated quickly and completely about the costs and timing of the project. The workers were friendly and answered questions readily. They minimized damage to surrounding plants. They left the work site clean. Greg was helpful to me as I made decisions about the specifics of the design.

Greg and his crew were excellent from the timely response for a quote to the follow up phone call when they finished. The patio looks great!!

I am left confused but there are other contractors. I called about a retaining wall that was damaged asking for him to come out and give me an estimate on my property leaving my address. Greg called me back in the morning the following day and laid out the work that he performs. Our brief phone conversation left an impression he was not interested in coming to my property and providing an estimate repair because there is concrete work with the stone work. I offered to take pictures and he said that would help instead of trying to schedule an appointment but he followed up immediately that he only handles jobs that are at least $3,000. I felt at that point from the tone of the conversation, it is best to move on to the next person. It was an odd exchange but I figure letting people know there is a $3,000 minimum for services will aid people who are looking for repairs.

Workmanship was excellent. Very professional crew. They came back about 30 days later to coat the concrete. Most of all, they were able to eliminate the puddle problem. This is 14 years later and it has no cracks and still looks new.

Beautiful work. The crew was quick and timely and did really nice work. Very happy with the whole process and especially the end result. Would definitely hire again.

Greg and his crew did a great job in explaining the process and designing the project. They followed through on every detail, completed in a timely manner, cleaned up the site at the end of each work day and at the completion of the project. I would highly recommend this company and love the finished result.

Greg is a professional all around. He visited my property himself, talked through the process, offered suggestions, listened to my ideas and constructed a retaining wall that was exactly what I wanted and what the property needed. All work was completed earlier than expected. The worksite was left neat and tidy. Both the cost and the work were exceptional.

Wonderfully! We had originally planned to do a combination of asphalt and stamped concrete, for which Greg did provide a bid. He also drew up a bid for a full paver project - which was more expensive than we had planned to do - but after touring the neighborhoods around our house looking at asphalt, stamped concrete, and paver drives and walks of various ages we decided to go for the pavers. We did get another bid just to make sure Greg was competitive - and he was. We met twice to first sketch out the project then again to finalize once we had chosen the paver colors. The project went very quickly and smoothly. Greg and his crew were professional and courteous in every regard. The finished project is beautiful.

We can't say enough good things about this company! The owner, Greg Pietig, was great to deal with and was very helpful in providing us with color samples and explaining the process. He allowed us to dig out the area for the sidewalk ourselves to save us some cost. He was very responsive in returning our calls with questions. His bid was provided promptly and was very reasonable compared to others we had received. We were very impressed with his crew. They came out one afternoon and removed the front step and asphalt, installed the forms and put down the class 5. They were very careful to not damage anything while jackhammering out the concrete and worked with us to create the exact shape we wanted. They hauled away all the debris and cleaned the area before leaving. The next day they returned around noon and they poured the concrete and did the stamping. The crew worked so well together, each knowing exactly what they had to do next. They were efficient, well trained and incredibly talented at what they did. It was a 4 hour process to do it all and they all had to work very hard and swiftly the entire time. We found the entire process so interesting to watch and amazing how they knew exactly when it was safe to remove the form from the step, exactly when to cut in the expansion joints, and exactly when to begin the stamping. Our previous walk had an awkward slope by the step and they completely changed it all for the better. Once again, they cleaned up everything when they were done, removing all the forms and put up yellow tape to stop anyone from walking on it. We were told how to wet it down 3 times a day for 3 days, and that they would return in about a week to apply the sealer. Unfortunately, between rain and cottonwood trees dumping their cotton, we had to wait a couple weeks before it was safe to apply the sealer. One of the crew came out one afternoon this week and applied the sealer with a roller for a beautiful "wet look" finish. The finished result is everything and more than we could have hoped for! If we ever need more concrete work done, we will definitely use this company again!

Greg spent a lo of time with us assessing our needs, helping up with the design work and color selection, and explaining all the factors that go into building a long lasting driveway. He was genuinely interested in doing the best possible job for us and we were completely satisfied with his work. Highly recommend.

Went very well. They did the job earlier than expected and did a good job on clean up. *Price-I don't really know. It seemed price was high, but I have nothing to compare it with.

Workers did a great job. Very respectful group. Also very respectful of our yard & neighbors yards.

Greg suggested many attractive changes which were aesthetically pleasing (these were part of the reason we selected his proposal). Such as changing the front steps to a a serpentine shape and adding a curved terrace. He has an artistic sense which helped select the best anchor type block and precast steps. The whole project took about 3 weeks with a couple of rain days. Greg supervised enery day. He was able to make many adjustments during the entire project when asked. He was very good to work with and is personable and very knowledgeable in this area.

Crew arrived on time on scheduled date. The crew was friendly and professional. The job was completed on schedule as promised. The new driveway and patio are perfect! Great job!

Greg did a lot of work at our house, and it went well from the discussion and estimate phase to the completion of the job. He replaced our front steps which had been brick faced and crumbling. The 3 new front steps are topped with Indiana Limestone as were the earlier steps but now the steps are faced with fond-du-lac stone instead of brick. The formerly brick planter by the door is now faced with fond-du-lace stone too and also topped with Indiana Limestone. The height of 3 the steps is now to code (before the landing below had sunk leaving a dangerously high bottom step). Greg raised the concrete landing between the front door steps and the steps down to the driveway. He raised and evened the 6 steps down to the driveway bringing them to code (the house was built in 1962). He replaced the black top driveway and basketball area with a concrete driveway. Also replaced apron and walk to side. Greg replaced the crumbling wall of the raised garden next to the driveway and steps with a new wall of fond-du-lac stone. It went amazingly well. Greg Pietig is a joy to work with as is Eric, who was his foreman on the job. Greg was there every morning at 7:30 to look at the job and talk to the crew, so I could always come outside and talk to him. If I had any questions for him at other times, he always answered emails, often with a phone call. Erik and the crew on the job were all nice people, very competent, and all were conscientious d*** a really good job. Greg had good design ideas, such as curving the edge of the concrete on the landing from the steps at the front door to the steps down to the driveway, instead of the straight edge used previously - at no extra charge. Erik did a great job of arranging the Limestone on the top step at the front door when I couldn't decide how it should be arranged. Everything went as planned, and the results are terrific! I would recommend Crosstown Concrete and Brick Paving without hesitation to anyone!
