Description of Work: We needed a new concrete driveway, front walkway and also the section of our driveway that connects to the garage. That driveway to garage section in particular had become problematic and was failing - they came up with a good and affordable solution to address that issue while also replacing the aged driveway and front walkway.

Description of Work: We had old broken concrete steps removed and new concrete steps poured.

Description of Work: Removed two sets of stairs- one from the sidewalk up a hill and the other was the front stoop. They removed a walkway. The reinstalled the stairs an walkway.

Description of Work: Late 2021 I had my 90+ year old garage (aka the chipmunk hotel) tore down and rebuilt and relocated to the southeast corner of my backyard. This eliminated my driveway/parking spots but also created some additional green space in my *boutique" Minneapolis backyard. It also made snow removal much easier. However now I had two major issues in the backyard....I needed some new grading to account for the garage relocation and my patio was some 20 years past its prime (I was only responsible for 10 of those years). As luck would have it I stumbled upon Greg and his wife playing pickle ball. I got Greg out to look at the patio situation. He was able to grasp the whole situation and he and his crew addressed it all including the following. Removed the old patio blocks, sidewalk and back steps. Removed the pitiful grass and regraded backyard included making adjustments to the new retaining wall. Installed new pavers, poured new steps (now meeting code), installed landscape borders, and resodded back yard. Looked fantastic when finished....it snowed a week later.

Description of Work: We needed to replace a 40 year old driveway and two sidewalks at our house. Greg Pietig the owner worked with us to schedule the work in late August of 2022. The driveway was cracked and had sunk about 2 inches. The front sidewalk had sunk around 4 inches making the first step 11 inches high. Eric their foreman came out and we discussed what needed to be done. We wanted a new driveway and a new front sidewalk that would be around 5 feet wide instead of the usual 3 feet. We also wanted a couple of steps at the end of the sidewalk that would give us safer access to our flower garden. Our front steps were solid but needed a facelift and Eric had the excellent idea of covering them with concrete pavers. It took the crew about a day to demolish the old concrete and a day to set up the forms and install lightweight fiberglass rebar (won’t rust and very tough) and the third day they poured the concrete. It then takes a week before you can drive on it. It needs to be watered twice a day to slow the drying process and I did that. A day after the concrete was poured they came back and cut the expansion joints in. And a few days later they came back again to spray sealant on the concrete. After all the concrete work was done we then worked with Anchor Iron in Savage, MN to have them build and install 2 new custom handrails. Those really dress up our newly paved steps. The crew of about 7 people worked very hard in the hot sun for 3 days to get the majority of it done. The cost of the project was close to $23,000. When you consider the size of the crew, the equipment needed to do the job, and the cost of the concrete, I considered it to be a bargain. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone. It all looks great and is standing up to our Minnesota weather.
