They did an excellent job. They stuck to their price. It was slightly damp when it was returned to us but if was very nicely cleaned. They were able to do the cleaning and did absolutely no damage which is quite a feat. The cleaning process does not involved chemicals and is safe for pets. They are also locally based.

The service was alright. I do not think I would use the again in the future. The men were very pleasant but I found that where the unit sat while they were doing the cleaning there were spots on the carpeting.

Their work is usually good. We did have an incident with a technician that may have taken some money from me but I was compensated for the incident. Generally their service has been really good. They do good work. The last time they came out, the owners did the actually cleaning of the carpet.

I didn't use them for any other reason other than I just couldn't find any really reliable information, no reviews or anything regarding this type of remodeling project. And, because they're sort of a larger franchise-type company. I was looking for someone that I could use over time and not just for one project. It had a different flavor. The person who comes and does the estimate's not a builder and doesn't really have any knowledge, that kind of put things behind a bit.

We were very happy with Crew2. Home Depot subcontracted out the installation of our carpet to them. They did a terrific job. We are very happy. They were on time, they worked quickly, and were very professional. The carpet looks great. Everyone was very professional and courteous. I would use this company again.

The subcontractors damaged property of mine. Some of the work was sub-par and never finished. Work was very slow. They had to be constantly reminded of what they were there to do. They would skip things that needed to be done and you would have to remind them of the contract. The project was suppose to be two weeks and after 4 months I finally got someone else.

We did not order the door thru Crew2. The installer was very dilligent about making sure the new door was not damaged in any way. The reason I say this is because we actually had to replace the door three times (from the same company) before deciding to go with another company. Each time, Crew2 did the install. They were very professional and did a great job on the installation process. The workers were clean and pleasant to work with.

It took a bit longer than we thought to get started on the project, but once they started it went pretty fast considering the size of the job. At one point the shower head was going to be way too high, but Gary Kinsley called the plumber right away and had him lower it so we could reach it. The buying experience was ok, but i would have liked to have had more color choices in the tile. The vanity they installed is really nice, with soft close drawers. All of the fixtures seem to be a very good quality. There are a couple of things that could have been done better, for instance, the knock down ceiling is not the best, and most of the pulls for the vanity and linen closet are a bit crooked. The tiling was done very nicely.
Description of Work: The project was to remodel a very large bathroom, approximately 10' by 11'. They demolishioned our old bathroom, including removing a huge corner tub, vanity, toilet, closet, many mirrors, wallpaper, and a soffit. They built a new wall for a shower. They also removed the old popcorn ceiling and replaced it with a knock down texture. They installed tile around the tub, shower area, and floor. Installed a new vanity, jetted tub, and toilet. Overall, they did a very good job, and always kept things as clean as possible. They listened to what we wanted and responded quickly to our questions and concerns.

I called with a coupon in hand. Scheduling was easy and painless. I got a reminder call the day before with a request to start an hour earlier than originally scheduled. He arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. Nick was very kind and thoughtful. I felt safe having him in my home, which is not always the case when a "stranger" is in your home for 90 minutes. He was wonderful with my dogs and respectful of my home. He diligently cleaned the carpets on 2 levels of my home as well as multiple area rugs. The carpets and rugs look great.

The project cost more than I had expected but it was a difficult project and they really did a great job.
Description of Work: I hired Crew2 to repair an exterior door that another handyman had installed incorrectly. They made one trip to take measurements and assess the project. They were able to offer me several different options and discuss the pros/cons of each option. On the day of repair, they worked quickly to remove the door jam and trim and hang the door correctly. They were able to come up with a creative way to trim the door and allow us to keep the existing trim rather than replace everything. The workmanship was skilled, professional and clean.

We were referred to Crew2 by a floor sales person at Home Depot. Crew 2 does installations for Home Depot. For bathroom remodels Crew2 is a shop at home service. We met in person twice with the Crew2 sales person at our home and did considerable follow up by email and phone. We also met with two sub-contractors who do electrical and plumbing that Crew2 does not do themselves. The sales person kept her appointments promptly and was knowledgeable and personable. Crew2 sells at your home from catalogs, literature and online info that the sales person refers to while in the home. We were not satisfied with the limited detail available this way for plumbing fixtures. We went to the Kohler Design center to select our product and provided detailed specs to the Crew2 rep. Home Depot has Kohler plumbing fixures, but not the upscale Kohler products we selected. After some delay the rep was able to make a proposal by getting pricing on the Kohler product we wanted. When she presented the proposal we learned that the Kohler product was priced at MSRP. We objected since we know from past projects that contractors discount the retail prices. Again after more delay the sales rep got managerial approval to apply a discount. In the meantime we got a bid from a local plumbing & general contractor (a well-known, fairly large firm). That contractor used exactly the same spec list from Kohler and bid exactly the same installations in all three bathrooms. The price from the local contractor was substantially less. As a courtesy I informed the Crew2 rep in the hope that she or her manager had made an estimating error. I never heard from her again. I was surprised given that this project is $35K+. We have gone ahead using the local contractor. RECOMMENDATION: The time from our first contact in late July to getting the final bid in early September was excessive. I expect that if one is satisfied with using Home Depot/Crew2 in the way they are geared to do business (i.e. out of their selection of product) that they may be OK, but not if you want to do it "your way."
Description of Work: We got detailed estimates for remodeling of three bathrooms. We did not accept the bid from Home Depot/Crew2. (see below)

From the start, the salesman that came to the house was in a huge hurry to go fishing. He measured quickly and left. Then we found out he lost the measurements and had to make an appointment to come back and remeasure. Again, he was in a huge hurry to get to his place in Wisconsin and fish. When the installer arrived there was a big problem because the old floor had not been tested for asbestos. We thought the salesman had done it. They said we were supposed to do it but we wer never told that by the salesman. Finally the head of the company came out and we decided to raise the floor in the dining room and kitchen and put molding around the edge and not rip out the old floor. It turned out well and we were happy with the flooring chosen and how it looks, so all turned out to our liking, but it was not a good start.
Description of Work: hey were subcontractors from our contractor and were not paid by us.We had our kitchen remodelled and knocked out the wall between the kitchen and dining room to make more space for the kitchen. Home Depot was the contractor. This company was hired to install new wood floors in the kitchen and dining room.

Overall, I'll give them a B. Just make sure you go over everything befor they leave.
Description of Work: I bought new kitchen cabinets and had Crew 2 install them, they are one of Home depots contractors, for the most part the job went well. However, our installation called for a corner mounted Kitchen sink. It was to be held up by a front panel with side and rear bracing into the neighboring cabinets. The installer got very sloppy. He didn't drill pilot holes and drove long screws through both sides of the panel cracking the panel and leaving the sharp ends of the screws exposed causing a potential for injury anytime a person had to go under the sink for any reason. What really bothered me was, not that they made a mistake, but how the installer handled it. He just left and didn't say anything to my wife. I found the problem when I came home from work. Well, I don't need to tell you that I didn't care for that. I called the Home Depot, who dealt with the issue. They came and fixed it within two weeks. It took so long because they needed to order a new panel. This set our time line back 3 weeks. As soon as the panel came in they fixed it, and gave us some money back.

Overall it went very well, they arrived right when they said they would. Were friendly and professional. The cleaning looked really good afterwards. I think the price was a bit steep, but a 10% discount helped. I would recommend again and do this annually. One side note is that the carpet took about 4 hours to dry, and the couch took about 8. They said it should dry in 2-4 so its not too far off.

Crew 2 called to schedule the installation and showed up within the time they said they would The people were polite, organized, cleaned up very well and did a great job with the installation. Hugo, the crew lead, checked the old tack strips and said they were not installed close enough to the molding and had the crew pull up the old strips and install new ones. (At no extra charge and without delaying the work.) They finished within the time they said it would take, vacuumed the carpet very well - none of the little loose pieces of carpet that are usually laying around after an installation. Asked me to inspect the work and sign the completed work order. A hardworking well run crew.
Description of Work: Crew2 installed carpet in a bedroom. we purchased the carpet at Home Depot Richfield store. We started at the Home Depot Bloomington store and the salesperson was not very helpful and seemed uninformed. We went to the Richfiled store and the salesperson was great.
