The entire process went super smooth. Our salesman spent hours with us explaining the features and benefits of the Soft-Lite Windows in comparison with other brands. After the initial appointment and ordering process he stayed in touch with us. The installation crew was great. They were so polite and courteous and would stop to answer our questions at any time. We are very happy with the product, installation crew and the entire staff at Budget Exteriors. We have already recommended Budget Exteriors to friends and neighbors.

It went very well. All appointments were kept promptly. Work started in the timeframe estimated and was completed in about the estimated amount of time. The crew put in 12 hour days so as not to drag out the job. Tidied up nicely after the job and remnants were removed promptly. Looks great. Should have done it years ago.

When the men came out to install the gutters they were prompt, professional, and neat. They did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. Good workers.

As a new widow faced with the prospect of replacing our old furnace and air conditioner, I was nervous about selecting the right product and which company to go with. Chris was very courteous and knowledgeable. He talked with me about the product and its warranty, the installation and removal process, the need for a final inspection by the city. He gave me financial options and an expected date of completion. All this during his first visit with me. John performed the service. He was on time, respectful and worked steadily until the job was finished. He made sure I satisfied by showing me what had been done and patiently explaining how the new system works. By choosing Budget Exteriors I feel confident that I made the right decision. Their cost is competitive. I will definitely contact them if I am ever in need of a home maintenance service.

Sales people were very helpful. Worked with me to decide on what I wanted done. Installers were friendly, professional and did high quality work. Were short on materials, but got new materials very quickly and completed the job promptly. Will be hiring them again to fix some roof issues that were found during the install on the fascia. Highly recommend.

Perfect. Staff was polite, friendly and responsive--from sales to installers and office staff. They were prompt and left no mess. Receipts and lien waivers were sent promptly. Very impressed.

The jobs were done professionally. The men were very courteous and cooperative. They explained exactly what they were doing and let me watch and then examine their work thereafter. Even after installation of the windows Ot came to wrap windows with correct trim 2 days later. The men cleaned everything up wonderfully. Great job.

They were on time for to show me there windows . Taking all measures and working on price and since I'm a veteran a discount , also a returning customer. They also insulation my attic which they did excellent job so they were my first choice of three for job. They show up on time and were very clean and add smoke alarms and carton monoxide detectors where needed.

Outstandingly. Installer arrived on time on the date agreed upon. Redesigned the front entrance to accept the new door. Installation went very smoothly. The installer did a thorough cleanup of the area. All former materials [door/screen] were properly disposed of. I would highly recommend Budget Exteriors to anyone looking for any type of remodeling work.

It went great - very professional and timely

Went well, Immediately we noticed the house was quieter. Less traffic noise also we live by a public pool and now with the windows closed we do not know there are people around. Soon after the weather turned hot and in past years the AC would have struggled to keep house at 70 degrees. after the insulation the AC hardly ran. NICE!

Overall working with Budget Exteriors was a very pleasant process. The salespersons were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to negotiate. The salespersons fully explained the work that would be done. I was told it would take about 6 weeks to get the window, it actually took less than half that time. The installers were very professional and informative. They explained all aspects of the replacement process. They made sure to use drop-cloths in the house and cleaned up thoroughly when done. The window replacement included new molding and sills.

Sales staff came to our home on time, and were well prepared to answer questions regarding windows and product offerings. Demonstrations of product construction and tradeoffs between products offered for our consideration. We were given contact information for home office personnel, in the event that issues arose, and problem escalation was necessary. Happily, this was never needed. The installer came at the appointed time a few days later to verify final measurements and was very courteous and professional. The custom windows arrived about one week earlier than originally estimated. Installation was performed flawlessly, with the crew being on time, very courteous and respectful, and they removed all debris and old windows. They estimated an arrival time of 830 am, with projected completion by 3 p.m. of the same day, and that is exactly how it played out. We could not be happier with either the products, services or the professionalism of the Budget Interiors staff. We highly recommend that you consider their services for window replacement.

It went well. The sales person is quite pushy but the contractor was extremely helpful. When the installer came he noticed the we had hail damage and needed our roof replaced. He worked with our insurance company to get the paperwork filed. His crew came and got the work done in one day.

They are wonderful to work with. The estimators were right on time and very fun to work with. They were up front with the work that had to be done and the price. Once we agreed on the job, the foreman contacted me and stopped out to take a look at the job and get any more information he needed to complete the job. On the day of installation, they were here right away in the morning and were very professional. When done, the area was cleaner than when they started. I will use them again when I have another project for my house.

Overall, I had the most negative experience with this company out of any contractor I've used or received a bid from to date. Unprofessional in their appointment, aggressive salesmen, and RIDICULOUSLY overpriced (3-4x the quotes received from other installers). I set up an appointment in the evening for when I would be home from work. They called me on memorial day to confirm my appointment (please don't call people on holidays). The day of the appointment, the salesmen showed up an hour early without providing me any notice. I was not home at the time, but my girlfriend was. They were rude to her and informed her that they wouldn't do anything until I had arrived home. So they went and sat in their cars in front of my house FOR AN HOUR until I came home. They were not in marked vehicles, shirts, uniforms, or anything indicating their professional affiliation. Once I arrived home, the two salesmen came in. One salesman grabbed a ladder and went into each of the two attic accesses. They tell you they need to be on site and won't give you an estimate over the phone, but they really just poke their head into the access and measure how deep your current insulation is. They don't even actually get up into the attic. From there they make you sit through their canned powerpoint presentation. They push their insulation hard (Procat by Owens Corning). Their (old) slides show that the product is Atticat (which you can buy yourself at home depot, so you can get a decent estimate for price of materials). When asked directly if there was any difference between the Procat and Atticat, the salesmen said it was the same thing. The air sealing of the attic doesn't change the price, regardless of how many bypasses there are. No difference in a room full of recessed lighting or a room with no ceiling lighting. Finally it came down to pricing. They asked what I would be willing to pay/ what I thought it would cost, and since I priced out a rough estimate of the same materials they use (about $1000), I said I MIGHT be willing to entertain the idea of paying roughly 3x the price of materials (so around $3000). For an 1130 square foot attic (that already has between R-19 and R-30), they quoted me at $7,900, BUT you get 20% off for being an Angies list member (which they told me over the phone they give to anyone). So they said their bid was $6300. This was only for adding in additional insulation, along with the standard rafter ventilation and air sealing the attic. Not even vacuuming out the old stuff, just adding the insulation to get up to code. The younger salesman told me their break even price was about $4800. At that point I ended the visit and told them I would call if I was interested. They were not aware of the current energy rebates, and when I showed them the xcel/ centerpoint energy rebate, they didn't even know what the required certification was. They said it is more expensive for them to get the certifications, so they don't do it, so there is another $300 discount that you won't be getting. I received other bids from other contractors on the same project that even included vacuuming out all the old insulation and putting in entirely new insulation. Every. Single. Bid. Beat the pricing of these guys. By a lot. Bids ranged from the exact same services for $1650 to vacuuming out the entire attic and installing all new for $3200. This is not counting the $300 rebate from Xcel or Centerpoint if you use an installer that knows the rebates. The only positive part of this process was that the people doing the scheduling are prompt. Good luck getting business when you insult half of the people deciding who to hire.

The service was done very professionally. The doors are of great quality materials. Very friendly people to deal with. We would highly recommend Budget Exteriors.

Very well. They made an appointment the week before the installation They arrived at the appointed time and said it would take approximately 1 1/2 hours. Both installers were very profession. To their credit they completed the project with very little disturbance to the flower beds and shrubbery that surrounded the home. They completed the project in 1 1/2 hours which included clean-up.

Very well. I was concerned about our custom wood cedar siding. They installed it and the cedar looks untouched. They did their job without being intrusive. They showed us what they were doing and answered questions without making us feel like we were obstructing or a bother.

Budget Exterior took out my (8) old windows and installed (8) new replacement windows from Soft-Lite Windows. They wrapped them in white PVC coil. The crew did and excellent job of installation and cleanup. Budget Exterior also installed 5 smoke detectors and 3 CO detectors in order for the final inspection to pass. After installation and cleanup were completed the lead installer took time to show us how all the windows worked and answered any questions we may have had.

It went very well. It turned out to be a bigger job than expected because the existing windows were not installed properly back when they were put in. It took more labor and precision to get them out, but the installation crew did a GREAT job! I would definitely hire them back.

We tend to be skeptical of people coming door-to-door seeking work or sales. However, when the salesman came, one of the things he did was show a computer presentation of the company and its Better Business Bureau rating (A+). For us that was a big factor in our decision. The installation was a professional quality job. They used high quality Owens-Corning shingles and adhered to Owens-Corning installation standards. Items included were: • Ice and water shield; • New valley tin, stacks, and roof ventilation units; • Metal drip edges on roof edges that do not have gutters; • Step flashing around the chimney and along walls that intersect with the roof. All personnel – sales, office, and installation crew – were extremely cordial and helpful.
