The work was done to completion after talking it over due to a miscommunication. Customer service and construction manager were patient and accommodating.

They installed an entry door and storm door for me. It was exactly what I had requested and the installation was done on time. The people were polite and respectful of my home and left it neat and tidy

All facets of the project went well from the inspiration, to sale to completion of the installation. Every person I talked to was friendly neat and clean. I requested no smoking on the property and my request was honored. All questions were answered in a way that I could understand. I am very pleased with the final results. Linda Zimmerman

Budget Exteriors replaced our 1944 homes attic insulation. We were very pleased with the knowledge of our salesman and workmanship done. The workers worked on a 90+ degree day in the middle of June without a complaint!

scheduled an estimate and Lou was very personable gave my 83-year-old mother an estimate for $30,000 to do house and detached garage (938 Sq/ft total) and soffit. stated they would do soffit, siding, flashing, wrap windows, doors. my mother stated it was too much. Lou stated first visit discount...26K sign today. mother said still too much. Lou stated $23K but would not do soffits on detached garage. Mother agreed but had to sign contact "RIGHT NOW". Despite Lou saying, "on garage no work on door or window wrap" Lou wrote "NO work on garage. No door or window wrap". When I contacted the company, which was difficult to get anyone to talk to, I was told too bad. you want to cancel? you pay 25% cancelation fee. otherwise, you are getting your 425 Sq/ft of siding for 23K. and we are not finishing the doors or windows. Just so you are aware this works out to about $52 per sq/ft for siding and the national average is $12 sq/ft. This is not the dealings of a reputable company. This company is exploiting the elderly, our most vulnerable population, for financial gain. If they are willing to do this, what else are they willing to do for profit? I would not recommend dealing with this company.

The crew included 3 men a mom and her son. The son looked at most 10 or 11 years old. Not kidding. I opened my front door to see a little boy on a step ladder tearing my siding off. Later that day I watched mom taping up her hand. Not sure how she hurt it. The overall quality is what I would expect if I hired a guy off craigslist. I worked construction for 31 years. !3 as a superintendent. There is NO quality here and they are unwilling to fix the anything but a few minor things. The general manager (Adam) called me a racist because I complained that the crew spoke no english at all. Their boss was my go between. Him and Dan (budgets production manager) reteurned calls at the end of day or next day. Here is a shot of dad and his son uhmmmm playing tag? I have over 4000 videos from my 5 security cameras. Dropped a heavy piece of siding against my AC. Hit me up at SycoDad on youtube if you want to see more of what Im saying about budget. DO NOT USE! Update as of 10/27/2022 A follow up. Budget refused to repair anything but minor repairs. When I refused to pay they put a lien on my house. When I asked for the singed inspection forms it turns out the required house wrap inspection was never called in for or done yet they got a final inspection. I also provided pictures of them putting new siding up on house wrap that had not been taped. So now they want to play nice and fix a couple things. I may have a choice of having straight siding or having the siding line up at corners. Can't have both. It doesn't matter how they respond to this they can say whatever they want. I have video that shows everything I say. The siding is guaranteed for life but not if it is installed wrong. The real guarantee you get is 1 year. If there are any issues with how it was installed you have nothing past 12 months.

They replaced several windows with no hassle or mess. They even repaired a window that had been installed by a different company free of charge. The workers were extremely courteous and answered any questions I had.

Once the product was received the company was in contact with me to set an appointment to install the windows and do the fascia. They were actually able to begin a day early and it only took them two days to complete all seven windows and wrap them on the outside. They were dealing with a lot of wind on the days they were here. The fascia had to be completed a few days later when the wind died down and it was completed in one morning. The house looks amazing with this work done and the employees doing the work were personable and gracious. I will certainly use them again if I need further home improvements.

The craftsman was courteous, and precise in his work. He removed old gutters and damaged wood. Replaced the wood and put on new aluminum fascia and soffits. I highly recommend him.

The Budget Exteriors team was informative, professional and best-in-class all throughout our full window replacement project. The design, purchase, lead times, installation and final close-out were handled in a manner that you witness how much the team really cares for their work, their reputation and your project needs. The large investment was definitely worth it with this Class A team & experience. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Budget Exteriors has been great, from A through Z. * Lou, who has come to our house, made it work for us. We are on a fixed income and can’t just write out a check and pay for it. He assessed our situation and worked out an affordable way for us to replace 5 windows. He goes the extra mile to make it work. Tim, the fellow that installed our windows, arrived promptly, and got to work on replacing our windows. Our house was built in 1950. Lead was in the paint, so Tim followed all the protocol, using plastic to protect us from any exposure. He works by himself, and gets the job done at an unbelievable pace. Removing the old windows, installing the new, caulking, and finishing the trim…. Tim did it all! While replacing the windows, Tim noticed the material behind our wood siding was “mushy.” Tim didn’t mince words; he said it needed to be replaced. Before Tim finished the trim on the windows, Lou was at our house helping us figure out a way to replace our siding. We’ll be having Budget Exteriors replace our siding in December. Lou figured out a way we can get it done at a reasonable cost with a low interest rate if we need financing. Tim finished his work, cleaned up, and was on his way after I signed a few papers. I still can’t believe he can lift up windows and install them all by himself! There’s no evidence he was even here except for the shiny new windows he left behind. I hope we have the same good luck with the siding!

The salesman was completely unprofessional. He didn't even have a sample window to show us "I forgot it in my other truck". He made every attempt to control the conversation, making it difficult to explain what we needed. He even took a smoke break in the middle of the visit! At the end he tried to use high-pressure tactics to close the sale. The price dropped by approximately $35k in the first two minutes, which is a pretty good indication that I'm about to get screwed if I go forward. When he finally gave us his lowest price (written on a piece of scratch paper and shown to us down low like he was letting us have a peek at a secret document) he gave us the old "That price is good until I get to my truck." When we didn't bite he tried to get us to "Just buy four windows. You know, to test the waters, lock in your price." I wonder if he saw the movie Used Cars at some point in his life and thought it was a sales training film. At the end - similar to what another one-star reviewer noted - he quipped, "I know you won't call me back, nobody ever calls me back to spend more money." Yeah, not with that attitude, don't let the door hit you on the way out. We have a project that we know is going to cost us a pretty penny, but we aren't fools. We require a contractor who will listen to our needs and be straightforward about how much the job is going to cost. I can assure you this company does not meet those requirements.

It went pretty smooth. Contractor showed up on time and said it would take about 3 hours and 3 hours later it was done. I am satisfied with my door.

While the crew was prompt and on time, the work was done in a timely fashion. I would be prepared for a mess when they leave. The crew seemed very interested in rushing through the clean up process and be on their way. I believe I received good value for the new insulation, but the clean up left a bit to be desired.

Excellent! Three courteous and polite guys did A LOT, completing the project in the estimated 4 hours. They applied mold buster (to stop mold growth), air-sealed all accessible bypasses, cleared out blocked eves openings, installed ventilation shoots on each accessible rafter space, installed kitchen and bathroom vent/tubes (properly connecting them to their respective existing exhaust vent hoods), and blew in Owens Corning insulation over existing insulation until R-49 was reached— everything up to code! They took before and after pictures, providing us with prints. Additionally, they installed smoke detectors in each bed room (4), as well as carbon monoxide detectors on each floor (2). We were also given Owens Corning manufacturer's warranty. Pre-season quoted price included labor, materials, tax— everything! :-D)

My salesman Chris was amazing- explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. The install crew were very friendly and neat and went above and beyond my expectations. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!

We received a quote from Budget Exteriors, and it was the most high pressure sales tactic pitch I've ever experienced. When it came to discussing price and financing, the sales person didn't even provide formal quotes - just prices scribbled on a blank sheet of paper. When I asked for more information about terms, he couldn't provide that ("depends"), but he still wanted is to sign an agreement tonight. Lots of exploding deals, e.g "40% off if you sign this visit, but if you wait it will start at $2k more!". I actually had to repeat multiple times that I would not make a financial decision without more time to consider, and that I'd be happy to pay more if that was the consequence, before they would leave. The sales discussion also included a lot of dubious claims and misinformation, like that Xcel doesn't offer rebates (I spoke with them last week and they do) and that insulation projects would allow me to double return on the project cost when I eventually sold my home (all remodeling projects statistically recoup less than their cost, it's just a question of how much). I would not consider them as a vendor for any project simply because of the aggressive approach.

They illegally cold called me because they were "in my neighborhood" despite that we have no previous business relationship and my number is on the national do not call registry.

replacement windows fit well, but molding was damaged during installation. exterior aluminum wrap did not last more than 2 years

I was trying to get a quote for an investment property my wife and I both own. We both work full time and have 3 kids in multiple activities but the scheduler was adamant we both needed to be there just to get a quote. My wife doesn't care to make these decisions nor would she want to sit through a sales pitch, let alone pay for a babysitter to get a quote. I rate this company an F for the inconvenience factor.

We have used Budget Exteriors for two home improvement projects. The first one was replacing all the windows and front door on the front side of the house. The windows on the rear of the house did not need replacing. Thanks to Budget Exteriors for pointing that out so that we didn't incur an extra expense. The window team was efficient, polite, and professional. Just recently we had our entire house resided. The work was begun the week after Thanksgiving 2017 and was completed the following week. There was a snowfall in the middle of the project, which slowed it down somewhat. Like the team that installed our windows, everyone was friendly and professional. With the new windows, siding, and additional wall insulation, the house feels warmer. It will be interesting to see the difference in our utility bills over the winter. If we need any additional work on the house, we will certainly call Budget Exteriors. They saved us money by switching us from cedar siding to an excellent vinyl siding. The cedar would have been almost two times more expensive than the vinyl.

Met with pleasant young man and liked product right away. Signed on dotted line and we were ready to go. Team of installers very fast, clean, and easy to deal with.

They were at the house when they said they would be. Work was done much faster than I assumed it would take. They cleaned up and folded up there drop cloths and showed me how to operate them and insert and remove screens. Very happy with their work.
