Description of Work: Siding on one side of garage. Couldn't afford to have entire garage done so they gave us a two year price freeze to get the remainder done at current pricing. This is the third job we have had Budget Exteriors do. Very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: We had 10 Soft-Lite glider windows installed. We are very happy with the windows and their installers were professional and did a great job. However, I would not rate them an A for the cost. It was about $1100 per window and we took care of the disposal.

Description of Work: We hired them for attic insulation. Everything has gone well. It was our second service with them (we had a couple windows replaced last year) and we'd consider them again for future work.

Description of Work: Replaced a custom window. Window and work quality was good. A little slow getting the process going and estimating the lead times required.

Description of Work: I received a high pressure phone call from these people at 8:55 PM while I was putting my kids to bed. I am on the do not call list but they don't care about that worthless thing. The way I was talked to by the guy was very rude. When I wouldn't answer his question about my house he hung up on me. I would never consider doing business with them!

Description of Work: I made an appointment per a phone call from company asking if they could give us a bid on a new roof. 2 men came and stayed on the ground and looked it over. They gave us an estimate and expected us to sign on the dotted line; I told them I did not do business that way and only wanted to know if my roof need replacing this year or was it good enough for 2 or 3 more years. They kept lowering the price, but my wife and I would not agree. They did tell us our roof was good enough for more years. I told them I would get additional estimates and compare them before signing a contract; We had experience the same with the Pink Panther basement finishing outfit that gave us a price of $4500.00 but if we signed today it would be something like $3750. I just don't do business that way.

Description of Work: They offered to come out and do an energy audit on my home. That went fine. I really could use some new windows and I considered using this company. The problem was that I was told there was no hard-sell numerous times, but there were the typical tactics of showing me the 5 reasons to not use a company and how all of them were already handled. There was the "if you buy one window tonight, you will get locked in on price". There were 3 reductions in price while sitting at the dining room table. And all of this was before the salesman called his manager to "check in". Finally, I was put on the phone with the manager and was offered another price reduction. I told them at least four times that I was not buying that night and would need time to think about it. It was about 10:30 PM before I was able to get the salesman out the door. I probably would have worked with them if they hadn't done the hard-sell.

Description of Work: Company keeps calling my home phone even though I am on the do not call list. I have asked them to stop and they continue to call. I have filed 3 complaints with Do Not Call List.

Description of Work: LIKED SALESPERSON/DESIGNER HELP. SHE DID A GOOD JOB OF SELLING CO. BUT THEN NEVER CONTACTED US AGAIN. PROBLEMS AROSE FROM INSTALLERS BEING SUBCONTRACTED & LACK OF COORDINATING THEM. THE TIME & LENGTH OF PROJECT WAS FAR DIFFERENT THAN PROMISED & THEREFORE MUCH MORE INTERRUPTIVE TO US. WE WERE GIVEN NO NOTICE THAT WORK WAS BEGINNING. WE WERE SATISFIED WITH THE COUNTERTOP INSTALLATION BUT FEEL THE TILE INSTALLATION IS ONLY FAIR. THE TILER USED OUR GARAGE & LEFT A MESS. THE COUNTERTOP INSTALLERS WERE VERY PLEASANT, BUT NEVER RETURNED OUR PHONE CALLS. THE 1ST COUNTERTOP WASN''T CUT RIGHT, BUT AT OUR REQUEST THEY REDID IT. THE COMPANY''S REP & OWNER WERE VERY SYMPATHETIC TO OUR COMPLAINTS AND SEEMED SINCERE IN THEIR CONCERN, BUT WE FELT THEY COULD HAVE DONE MORE IN MAKING THINGS RIGHT FOR US.

Description of Work: THE FIRST COMPANY WE INTERVIEWED, THEY WERE EXTREMELY HIGH PRESSURE SALES AND WE ENDED UP SIGNING A SMALL CONTRACT FOR GUTTERS SO WE COULD ''LOCK-IN'' A PRICE FOR THE ROOF, SOFFITS AND FASCIA. ONCE WE BEGAN INTERVIEWING OTHER COMPANIES WE REALIZED THAT THE ''GREAT'' PRICE WE HAD ''LOCKED-IN'' WAS MUCH HIGHER THAN AVERAGE FOR THE SAME MATERIALS. WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY, TOP GUN, FOR THE REST OF OUR NEEDS. TOP GUN COMPLETED THEIR PORTION OF THE WORK AND WE WERE WELL PLEASED, WE THEN CALLED BUDGET TO COMPLETE THE GUTTERS. WE HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM FOR WEEKS, I CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES, NOTHING. AFTER A FEW MORE WEEKS I FINALLY GOT AHOLD OF SOMEONE AND WAS TOLD THE THE CREW HAD ALREADY BEEN OUT AND WERE FINISHED. I WENT OUT TO EXAMINE THEIR WORK AND FOUND THAT THEY HAD REPLACED A SINGLE DOWNSPOUT, WHICH DIDN''T NEED REPLACING. I CALLED AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE JOB BECAUSE THE NEW ROOF WAS AT THE WRONG ANGLE. I SPENT MUCH TIME AND EFFORT BEFORE I GOT A

Description of Work: WE HAD A REPLACEMENT PICTURE AND 2 CASEMENT WINDOWS REPLACED IN OUR LIVING ROOM. IT''S BEEN OVER 3 MONTHS SINCE THE WINDOW WAS ORDERED AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE WORK. THE WINDOW THAT THEY INSTALLED WAS ABOUT 2 INCHES TOO SMALL ALL THE WAY AROUND. (THIS AFTER 2 DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES MEASURED IT.) INSTALLATION TOOK 2 DAYS - ABOUT 10 HOURS AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT BEEN OUT TO REPAIR THE TORN WEATHER STRIPPING.

Description of Work: THE WORKMAN TOOK WHAT SEEMED LIKE AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF TIME TO COMPLETE THE ESTIMATE. HE MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND I HAD TO ASK HIM TO LEAVE.
