The tension spring on the garage door broke. I called Todd yesterday around 5:30, and after first asking me if it was urgent (it wasn't), he gave me a 2-hour window for coming this morning. He arrived within that time, and had the repair done in less than an hour. The door now operates smoothly and quietly -- as if it were new. He deducted $15 off the price because I found him on Angie's List.

It went great. I called on Wednesday and told Todd what was happening. I also identified a specific model number that i was interested in having (my Father had recently installed the same model and it was great). Todd checked, contacted me later that evening to say he could get the device. We scheduled install for the next day. Installer arrived on time (a little early), got to work and completed the job quickly. He cleaned up the old rails & wheels so they look like new. He installed everything and left zero mess.

Our garage door was having issues where garage door opener motor runs but door was not either closing or opening. I called ASAP DOOR Co. and the gentleman I spoke scheduled to come over the next day. He replaced the gear and shaft in the opener, and he cleaned and adjusted the whole door. He also bring and programed new remote control. The garage door runs smoothly now than it was before. My garage door would not close on a Saturday and after reading Angie's List reviews I called Todd to set up an Appointment. Todd answered the phone personally (no answering service), based on my description of the issue he thought he could help me fix it on the phone thereby saving me a service call. His directions were excellent, my follow through not so much so I asked him to come out for a tune up anyway. He spent more than an hour working on my door and opener fixing problems that I was not even aware of!!! Best of all he stuck to his phone quote even though I was expecting (and would have accepted) a bill for twice the amount. I will recommend Todd to my friends and will use him to replace my opener when it finally goes!!! A+

Fantastic. The 4Th of July week and when other Big Name companies wouldn't or couldn't come out for a couple days, ASAP made time the same day to replace our broken springs! They got to our house when they said they would, called before they showed up and had all the parts ready to install. They were professional, courtesy and just plain friendly. What more could one ask. BTW - I used an Angie's coupon and they accepted it just as cash.

Todd came over the same day I called. Todd called well before the appointment was scheduled to begin to let me know that he was running a few minutes later than expected, which I really appreciated. He was personable and professional. He pulled up and sorted out the issue of reprogramming our garage door openers in no time at all! Todd had previously done some work on our garage door springs. Today he taught me how to program the openers myself (he did not follow the method indicated in the instructions, so it was well worth the money to have him come and resolve). Todd also told me that I could have saved money buying the extra remotes from him (and clearly time and headache), which had never occurred to me, but it was a good reminder to buy parts from the service provider you use! I will definitely call him again for any garage door related issue.

I called for service on my non-working garage door at 9:00 am and set an appointment for 2:00 pm the same day. The workmen arrived right on time and completed the job in a short time to my complete satisfaction. They were very professional and knew what they were doing.

Todd with ASAP was on time and professional. He called about 1/2 hour prior to the appointment time to confirm. He arrived on time checked the door and confirmed that one of the springs had broken. He told me that it would take about 20 minutes to repair and he set to work. When completed he asked me how I'd heard about ASAP and I said - 'Angie's List'. He took down the credit card information and he was on his way in about 30 minutes. All told, probably the easiest home repair I've had ever.

Our garage door wasn't closing properly. I called ASAP Door one afternoon and he was able to come out first thing the next morning. He cleaned the connections on the photo eyes and fine tuned the mechanism so the door didn't make as much noise. Everything worked fine afterwards.

Called A.S.A.P at 8:00 am and described problem. Todd was at my house be 10:00 am that same day. Diagnosed problem, told me the cost to fixed and repaired it right then. He had all equiptment and parts with him. He tuned up the door to make it run smoothly. I asked about new seals for the door and he gave me a written estimate and described what he would use and how he would replace the ones we have. Great experience.

The cable jumped off the spool on one side of my double garage door, and my son and I could not get it back in place. This meant our garage door had to be left open overnight, and I wanted it fixed fast. I looked at Angie's List customer reports about ASAP and noticed a couple customers said Todd answered the phone after hours. I decided to try to call at about 8:30 p.m. Todd answered the phone even though he was out to dinner. He was able to come out the next morning and quickly fixed the cable. He also adjusted the spring, lubricated everything and generally tuned things up. Very professional service, and extra points for his after-hours accessibility. I highly recommend ASAP.

Todd fit us in right away when the tension spring broke on our garage door. He went above and beyond fixing the door. He also lubricated and adjusted the tracks and corrected the garage door adjustments.

We got home from vacation to find that our garage door would not close. I called and ASAP was able to fit me in very quickly. He diagnosed the most likely problems on the phone and told me the cost of each. He arrived on time and quickly identified the problem. The previous owners had mounted the photo eyes incorrectly so ASAP remounted them correctly. That immediately fixed our issue. While he was there, he also lubricated the rollers and hinges on the door and tightened down all the hardware. That dramatically reduced the noise when the door opens and closes. ASAP was very prompt, professional, and helpful. We have not had any problems with the garage door since he came. After having to manually operate the garage door for a few days, we were thrilled ASAP could address our problem so quickly and inexpensively.

When we got home, we pushed the button on our visor (as the visor is programmed ) and the door opened up much faster and since the service he performed operates much quieter

Very focused. Job done in short amount of time. Took time to answer questions, and plan to use them for a new door in the spring.

First, Todd answered the phone on New Year's Eve, when most other services wouldn't have done so. Second, he was good on the phone, so I already had confidence in his abilities, even before I met him in person. Third, he did the work required, and did it well. All in all, a positive experience. Of course, I'd rather that I wouldn't have needed to get the garage door repaired in the first place. But, since that wasn't an option, Todd made it as good an experience as it could be, under the circumstances. I'd highly recommend Todd and A.S.A.P Door Company to my friends.

I wasn't able to open my garage door so called and described the symptoms I was seeing. It was diagnosed over the phone. It was suspected that I had a broken spring and I was provided with a quote. We set up a time to meet and he came and replaced both springs and performed other routine maintenance items and was done and gone in a little over an hour.

Todd was able to schedule us next day for the repair and the work went really well, Todd was very tidy with the work, and the garage door is working again! We will be calling him soon to schedule the replacement of the rollers.

We had been struggling with updependable closing of the overhead garage door throughout the winter and finally decided to take action. Some fasteners were missing, the door ran roughly and there was a lot of screeching, both during opening and closing. We selected Todd because of his high rating on Angie's List for this kind of work. Todd fixed our rough-running door by performing the tasks listed above. He was professional, pleasant to deal with and even laughed at my old jokes. Now the door runs smoothly and quietly.

Our garage door went off the tracks after one of the plastic wheels broke because of the freezing temperatures. My husband and I tried to put the wheels back into the tracks but that didn't work at all. This happened at 2:30pm and we were frantically calling around to Garage Door places to see if anyone could come out that day. We couldn't get the door to close and didn't want to leave the garage door open all night long. We talked to Todd, who was the only person to fit us in that same day. Jeff showed up around 4:30 and fixed the garage door by replacing all the wheels. We also had him replace the wheels on the other garage door, which was still working. He replaced a broken cable and lubed all the tracks. He was short one wheel and is planning on coming back on Thursday to put on the new wheel. The guys did a great job. It was so cold out and they worked quickly and efficiently. We are very satisfied with the service, especially their ability to fit us in on such short notice.
