Absolutely outstanding in all categories. The quality of their work, the price, the professionalism, the clean-up, responsiveness - everything was outstanding. I'd recommend Armstrong to anybody, and I'd definitely hire them again.

A beautiful job at a decent price. Owner, John, very knowledgeable, responsive, prompt, courteous and patient. He switched work date TWICE at my request without complaint. Friendly crew. I definitely plan to use this company for other concrete repairs in the near future.

Paul is one of the best contractors I've ever hired. He runs a top-notch business and does amazing work.

Paul & his crew were exceptionally professional & friendly. There were several contractors on site at the same time & they were very respectful of all parties. His crew went out of their way to help me put my grandson's hand-print & initials in the new cement.

Armstrong was very responsive and professional - they provided a quote in the mid-range of others that I received. Their product is pretty straight-forward; my impression is that they don't offer as many options (e.g. brick) as other companies that do more work with older homes.

I emailed asking for an estimate on replacing a portion of sidewalk and a small concrete slab that are in very poor condition, cracked and tilted toward my foundation. Paul called back a week later. He was very honest in saying that the job was basically too small and not cost effective for either one of us. While I truly appreciate the honesty, I also know that this is not going to be my first house. If my next house needs a bigger (more cost effective) job done, I won't be calling him. Even though he was honest, I feel he lost out on a potential future customer.

My wife and I had Paul come out to give us a bid on replacing the concrete block that covers the well room in our Richfield home. After inspecting the existing block, Paul asked what was the reason for replacing it at this point. It has deteriorated in places but is still well intact. Paul advised us that we could certainly replace it if we wanted to, but there isn't any pressing need right now. How refreshing it was not to be taken advantage of. Paul was professional and honest from the beginning. After thinking about replacing the block at this point, we decided to put it off for the time being. When we do have it replaced, Armstrong will be doing the work.

Paul, the owner, came out and did the estimate. He listened to my ideas and added some suggestions, which enhanced the project and saved me some money. We scheduled the work for the end of October, but he called several weeks early, asking if I would like the work done sooner, as he had a cancellation. They arrived early morning and worked into early evening completing the removal & pouring in 1 day. I am extremely pleased the work that they did, and the driveway is beautiful.

Excellent work! Paul made arrangements to make an estimate only two days after we called, in spite of an extremely busy schedule. He was extremely professional and polite when he made the estimate, and answered all of our questions. He was careful to explain what city code required, and how combining the front and back door jobs would save us money. He managed to schedule us just before the winter frost, even though we accepted his bid in late October. He and his workers showed up right on time the day of the work, worked efficiently, and even helped my wife carry in groceries during the day. Both the concrete work and the railings are top rate. While the work wasn't cheap, his bid was close to the lowest I received among A-rated Angie's list concrete contractors. I would recommend him to anyone, and will definitely use him again!

FROM THE FIRST ENCOUNTER I WAS IMPRESSED WITH PAUL. HE WAS ON TIME, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, AND CREATIVE. NONE OF THE OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS I RECEIVED BIDS FROM HAD ANY IDEAS ABOUT HOW THE PROJECT SHOULD BE DONE, EXCEPT TO REPLACE WHAT WAS ALREADY THERE. PAUL IS ALSO A GOOD LISTENER, NOT JUST DOING THE JOB AS HE WANTS, BUT AS I WANT. HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO COME OVER THE DAY BEFORE THE PROJECT TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS AND THEN FINISHED THE PROJECT IN THE TIME SPECIFIED (1 DAY). PAUL'S NOT JUST A SALESMAN, HE'S ALSO A LABORER. I FELT GOOD KNOWING THAT THE PERSON I WAS TALKING TO WAS ALSO PERFORMING THE WORK AND THERE WAS NO MIDDLEMAN. AND DID I MENTION HE WAS THE CHEAPEST BID? I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH PAUL'S PRODUCT AND WORK ETHIC. HIRE HIM!

THE WORK CREW ARRIVED ON THE AGREED DAY. BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE A LITTLE LATE THEY CALLED FIRST TO LET US KNOW. NO DEBRIS WAS LEFT BEHIND WHEN THE SIDEWALK WAS REMOVED AND OUR GARDENS WERE NOT DISTURBED. THEY WERE METICULOUS ABOUT THE FINISHED SIDEWALK AND WE ARE VERY SATISFIED ABOUT THE WAY IT LOOKS. THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL CREW AND COMPANY. THEY WILL BE OUR FIRST CHOICE IF WE NEED OTHER CONCRETE WORK. WE ALSO FEEL THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT FOR THE QUALITY OF THE WORK.

PAUL WAS VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. HE QUICKLY RETURNED ANY CALLS I MADE TO HIM AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS. HE WAS ABLE TO START THE WORK A COUPLE OF DAYS EARLIER THAN PLANNED DUE TO WEATHER RELATED ISSUES. WE DID HAVE SOME CRACKING AROUND A FENCE POST AND HE PROMPTLY CAME TO FIX THE PROBLEM. HIS BID WAS THE LOWEST OF THE 3 WE RECEIVED AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK.

PAUL AND HIS CREW DID A NICE JOB OF REPLACING OUR FRONT WALKWAY AND STOOP AND ADDING OUR NEW WALKWAY AROUND THE SIDE OF THE EXTENDED GARAGE. IT LOOKS FABULOUS!

AN EXCELLENT CONTRACTOR ALL ROUND. METICULOUS AND PROFESSIONAL AND DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB. HE DID EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID HE'D DO (AND MORE). HE WAS RELIABLE (SHOWED UP ON OR AHEAD OF TIME) AND VERY ACCOMMODATING (MANAGED TO BRING THE JOB FORWARD BY A FEW WEEKS TO SUIT ME, AFTER GIVING ME A DATE THAT WAS MUCH FURTHER OUT). VERY EFFICIENT CREW AND AMAZINGLY SENSITIVE TO THE SURROUNDINGS. THEY LEFT ALMOST NO SIGN OF THEIR HAVING BEEN THERE - NO CHURNED UP GRASS, NO DEEP RUTS IN THE LAWN WHERE THEY'D FERRIED THE CONCRETE. VERY IMPRESSIVE.

OWNER PAUL AND HIS CREW DID A GREAT JOB. THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS EASY AND THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS GREAT.

PAUL CAME TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE ON RE-PAVING OUR FRONT WALK, SIDE WALK AND CREATING A SMALL PATIO IN THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GAVE US A VERY REASONABLE BID, HOWEVER, HE'S BOOKED TILL NOVEMBER AND WE DID NOT WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG TO GET THE WORK DONE SO WE WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. THE ESTIMATE WAS $4360 AND WAS VERY REASONABLE WHEN COMPARED WITH OTHERS.

OF THE 6 BIDS OBTAINED, ARMSTRONG WAS THE LOWEST. PAUL ARMSTRONG, THE COMPANY OWNER, PROVIDED THE ESTIMATE. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDED MANY REFERENCES. PAUL AND HIS TEAM WERE EFFICIENT AND ORGANIZED.

THE PRICE WAS OK, BUT THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE CREW WAS ON TIME EFFICIENT, PLEASANT AND DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

THE COMPANY'S PRICES WERE OK, AND THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE CREW WAS PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT, DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP AND WAS ON TIME. THERE WAS A MINOR PROBLEM, BUT IT WAS IMMEDIATELY RESOLVED. THE OWNER WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND REALLY KNOWS HIS CONCRETE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS.

THEY ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED US OUT A MONTH THEN CALLED BACK WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF MAKING THE APPOINTMENT. THEY CAME OUT THAT DAY, A MONTH EARLIER THAN PLANNED & DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO DO ANY WORK.

I WAS PLEASED WITH HOW THE WALK LOOKED. HOWEVER, I COULDN'T CLOSE THE GATE THAT THEY LEFT OPEN BECAUSE THE WALK WAS TOO HIGH. I KNOW THE WALK HAD TO BE RAISED BECAUSE PART OF THE OLD WALK WAS SO SUNKEN, BUT UPON CLOSER INSPECTION WITH A LEVEL I FOUND THE SECTION LEADING TO THE GATE WAS EVEN HIGHER THAN WHAT HAD BEEN THE LOWEST POINT. THE INITIAL RESPONSE WAS THAT I SHOULD MOVE THE LATCH ON MY GATE. THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE ON A VINYL FENCE WHICH WOULD LEAVE LARGE HOLES VISIBLE IN THE POSTS. PAUL CAME OUT AND HIS MAIN SOLUTION WAS TO CUT OFF THE PICKETS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GATE. I RELUCTANTLY AGREED & IT IS NOT AS AWFUL AS I THOUGHT IT MIGHT LOOK. HOWEVER, I FELT THE BURDEN WAS ON ME TO COMPROMISE RATHER THAN THEM OFFERING TO CORRECT THEIR WORK. THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE REDONE THE WORK IF I HAD INSISTED, BUT I DIDN'T GET THE SENSE THAT THEY THOUGHT THEY DID ANYTHING WRONG. I ALSO THINK I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT GATE CLEARANCE WAS A PROBLEM BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE.

CONCRETE STEPS WERE VERY NICE WHEN COMPLETE. HOWEVER, IN DOING THE WORK, THE WORKERS MANAGED TO KILL THE ROOTS TO THE IVY THAT COVERED 1/4 OF OUR HOME, MEANING THAT WE HAVE TO REMOVE IT. WORKERS ALSO BROKE SOMETHING IN OUR BACK YARD AND PILED THE PIECES UP, BUT DIDN'T TELL ME, EVEN THOUGH I WAS HOME AT THE TIME THEY DID THEIR WORK. I NOTICED IT JUST AFTER THEY LEFT. WE'RE UNDECIDED IF WE'D HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

WE WERE EXTREMELY SATISFIED WITH EVERY ASPECT OF THE WORK PERFORMED BY ARMSTRONG CONCRETE. HE WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND KEPT US INFORMED OF WHEN THE JOB WAS GOING TO BE COMPLETE. DUE TO BAD WEATHER, THEY NEEDED TO DELAY THE START OF MY JOB A WEEK, BUT PAUL INFORMED ME AHEAD OF TIME AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. THE ONLY MINOR COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THEY WASHED THERE TOOLS OFF ON MY LAWN. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SMALL SECTIONS THAT WERE GRAY AND STILL HAVE SOME ROCKS. OVERALL, PAUL RUNS A FANTASTIC COMPANY AND I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN AND HAVE REFERRED THEM TO SOME FRIENDS.

PAUL ARMSTRONG WAS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. HE EXPLAINED THINGS VERY WELL. THE PROJECT WAS STARTED EARLIER THAN SCHEDULED, AND HE WORKED THROUGH THE RAINY WEATHER. THE WORK WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. IT SEEMED THAT HE TRULY CARED ABOUT DOING A GOOD JOB. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM.
