Paul replied promptly to my message for a quote. We called 3 contractors on Angies List. One contractor did not return the call, the other contractor did respond, met with us to see the project but never sent in his quote. Paul arrived to look at the project AND PROVIDED a quote right after he looked at the project! This was fabulous customer service. Paul asked us questions about what we wanted and then made recommendations. The project was quoted in the fall for work to be done in the Spring. In spring, Paul called and confirmed the day for the work to start. Paul and his crew arrived promptly and Paul stayed with his crew for the first 2 days of the work. The crew cleaned up the site at the end of every day including the street in front of the house. They took care not to damage the lawn and landscape. At the end of the job, there was a small place on the parking pad that looked like it was eroding. Paul fixed this immediately. Highly recommend Paul & Co.

Paul (foreman) is very communicative, crew is professional, work was superb, totally happy with our new concrete driveway. Estimate was lowest of 3 estimates.

The work is beautifully done, and at a price I couldn't believe. Since ours was a small job, they even offered to come earlier than we scheduled when they had an open space in their schedule (we couldn't accommodate that due to landscaping we had to move). I moved the plants that sat very close to where the work was being done, and no other plants were damaged during the work. I have never before had work done in my yard without seeing damage to my landscaping. I was very impressed. We had them add a step, which raised the final cost slightly over the original estimate. They also suggested an ironwork company for the railings, which did a great job as well.

Paul was quick to return my call and did an estimate on a Saturday when we were out of town. He mailed the estimate promptly. We hired Armstrong based on the Angie's List reviews and also after looking at some of the work he had done previously (Paul gave us a list). Plus friends told us the price was very fair. The work took two days and the crew was professional and did a great job. The work done looks great and we were happy to support a fairly-priced, family-owned business.

He was prompt. He said 7:30 a.m. start and they arrived at 7:15 a.m. They had to level the area by hand because of the location. They worked quickly and efficiently. In addition, they did us a big favor while waiting for the cement truck to arrive. They were finished by 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Armstrong promptly returned my phone call and prepared a bid which I accepted. He did the work exactly as promised, on time, and in a very professional manner.

Very well. Estimator arrived promptly explained what could and could not be done and explained options. Work was scheduled promptly, delayed half day by rain but completed expeditiously. Workers helpful in putting waste sod where it would be useful to me. My meticulous wife is delighted with appearance of driveway. It exceeds expectations

Paul came out in early spring and gave us a free estimate of the cost of putting in a concrete driveway and replacing a section of the sidewalk leading up to the front porch. When we called Paul later to accept his offer, a firm date was set up for doing the work that fit his and our schedules. Paul and his crew showed up on the arranged day. The first morning they tore out the old asphalt driveway and the broken section of sidewalk. They then proceeded to prep the area by establishing forms and putting down the reinforcing rebar. The next morning the cement truck came, the driveway and sidewalk section were poured. The team seemed very experienced and were done about lunch time. They came back a week later to do some finishing touches. The driveway turned out great and is a huge improvement over the old one. The transition from driveway to garage is practically seamless now.

Paul came out and gave me a very competitive estimate. He originally wanted to start while we would be on vacation. However, Paul was able to fit us in a few weeks before our vacation. Paul and his crew did a great job and we highly recommend him.

I spoke to Paul Armstrong directly, he came over the next day and arrived on time, gave me a quote at that time. I called him the next day and he happened to have an opening the following day. The crew came, arrived on time and completed the job - it looks great! Everyone was professional and courteous.

Paul and his crew did an incredible job. He started the job before the originally set date and did everything I expected. He exceeded my expectations and it looks great. He was also the lowest bid I received (out of 5). He was always present and always kept me abreast of the status and listened to any of my concerns or requests. ** As an added bonus, one of his employees (Ryan) even fixed my broken garage door opener without being asked!! These guys are great!!!!!

I like the way he works - does not take bids if he can't get the work done. Sometimes his answering machine even says that. I did have to wait, but it was worth it because the work was excellent. Very prompt about returning calls as well.

Initial reply to my request for an estimate for driveway apron repair was that he was too busy to take on any more jobs for this year. I appreciated him getting back and being honest. But then I got another call a few weeks later indicating he would now be able to get in a job within a couple weeks but then I never heard back or received no estimate.

Very helpful. I am always impressed when someone gives advice that keeps you from having to spend a fortune - despite the obvious costs to him personally. If the opportunity presents itself, I will certainly consider using Mr. Armstrong's service for an appropriate job.

Armstrong Concrete was excellent. They started the job earlier than anticipated which was a nice surprise. They did absolutely excellent work, and the patio is beautiful, precise and something that really enhanced the house. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone I knew. Excellent Job Paul!

Paul did half my sidewalks last year. They did such a great job that I decided to have them do the rest of the job this year. They did the tear out and re-pour all in one day. When I returned from work, I had new sidewalks and a patio, with no debris leftover! They were very clean and even hauled away some extra bricks I had. I'm very impressed with Paul and his work ethic. I highly recommend his services.

The work was done efficiently, on-time and done quite well. Paul and his team are easy to work with and went out of their way to be helpful.

Prompt and professional estimate. Work completed on time as promised. Excellent work quality. Job billed at estimate price, although it could reasonably have been higher. We were thoroughly pleased and would use this company again for any future work, in their area of expertise.

Crew was on time, courteous, and finished the job quickly. This was a simple job and they did good work. The slab meets basic quality requirements (e.g. corners are square, surface is level), but I don't think they went above-and-beyond to deserve an 'A' rating for quality (e.g. there are spots where adjustments should've been made to the depth of the slab to better accommodate the slope of this site). This was a basic job and Armstrong was our least expensive bid which is why we went with them. Overall, I think we got a decent value for the price we paid. I would consider hiring them again for basic concrete work.

Paul Armstrong was very prompt in returning calls. He had practical and very satisfactory ideas for dealing with a couple of issues that resulted from having to bring the new side steps up to code. The estimate was done at the end of the initial meeting. The work was done on time, was cleaned up nicely and is of excellent quality. Paul was polite, communicative and absolutely professional throughout. There was some question in my mind about whether or not one particular spot was going to drain adequately. All I had to do was raise the issue and Paul was out the next day to resolve the problem to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Armstrong was recommended by another contractor. He submitted a bid which was $100 lower than others. He was very good to work with, the guys showed up on time, on the day scheduled. Work looks great.

I talked to several contractors and got three bids before selecting Armstrong. They were not the low bid but I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Paul Armstrong, the owner, who came out, spent quite a while looking at the project, and explained the options to me. As the work progressed he consulted me a couple times to be sure the work they were doing was exactly what I wanted. This company does excellent work. I also recommended Armstrong to my brother who subsequently hired them to do a project for him. Excellent company!

Paul called after a day or so to set up an estimate. He was very accommodating for times, but we couldn't connect to get an estimate.
