+ -1 moreOver the phone the dispatcher told me that they did not give specific times and asked, generally, when would work for me. I said late afternoon and the locksmith arrived at 11:00 am. He was polite and considerate asking if it was okay for him to walk around the side of the house to the door instead of tracking dirt throughout the house. He was able to quickly figure out and fix the problem and was done before 11:30. I would definitely use this company again.
Description of Work: The lock to my backdoor was working, but would not lock when the door was closed. I asked them to take a look at the lock and see what needed to be fixed.

On the day of the appointment the installer arrived within the time estimated (9-11 AM was scheduled, arrived at 10 AM). His work included a $68 service charge for showing up, and $56 in labor. The quality of the product was excellent. He cleaned up when he was done. I was pleased.
Description of Work: I had a deadbolt and a passage knob installed on a new door.

I was able to be scheduled to have the work done within just a couple of days. The day of lock installation, the tech arrived on time and worked steadily and efficiently, and was polite and tidy. What more could I ask for?

+ -1 moreTHEY INSTALLED A VERY ELABORATE SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM NEVER WORKED PROPERLY. THE POLICE THREATENED TO DECLARE ME A NUISANCE FOR FALSE ALARMS AND THE COMPANY WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THEY SAID I WAS OPERATING THE SYSTEM INCORRECTLY, WHICH WASN'T TRUE. FINALLY, THEY DISABLED THE PART OF THE SYSTEM THAT CALLS THE POLICE TO PREVENT FALSE ALARMS. I HAVE BEEN VERY UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE, HOWEVER, THEY INSTALLED A VERY NICE SYSTEM. THE BILLING HAS BEEN RIDICULOUS AS WELL, THERE HAVE BEEN LOTS OF EXTRA CHARGES FOR THINGS THAT THEY IMPLIED WOULD BE INCLUDED AT NO CHARGE. THEY HAVE HAD A LOT OF MISCOMMUNICATIONS. THE SALESMEN SEEMED TO HAVE MISLED ME AND HE IS NO LONGER WITH THEM.
