Absolutely Guaranteed Appliance Repair

It went well overall.  The problem for each item was assessed on 06/19/12 and I was told at that time how much it would cost to repair each item.  I paid for a little over 1/2 of the total cost at that time.  He returned on 06/22/12 to complete the job.  I think Al was very thorough in his assessment and very up front with the cost to repair each part.  Al was also very honest, prompt, friendly and professional.

Al is just one of the nicest and most professional appliance people we have ever dealt with.  He patiently explains how it supposed to work and why it isn't now.  Al is prompt returning calls, is always on time, calls if he is running early and removes his shoes when he enters the house without being asked.
Al has fixed several of our appliances and I won't hesitate to call him if anything else breaks.  In fact, I'll wait for the next appointment time even if it takes a bit longer (unless it is our refrigerator).

Fantastic!  Dryer fixed with little down time and my 16 year old Newton Iowa Maytag Dryer is one the best products I have ever owned, I glad for the repair rather than replacing.

Al called me before coming over and was at my door less than 30 minutes into the two hour window I was given.  The problem was promptly diagnosed and remedied in less than an hour.  He showed me how to fix the problem myself should it happen again.  Friendly and professional, I would not hesitate to call on him again for future appliance repairs.

Everything was excellent. and I would use them again.

We were contacted 24 hours after our initial call. The owner came to our home that very day and repaired or appliance on the spot.

The tech arrived on time was very polite.  He took the time to troubleshoot the problem and got it back working for me, since the problem would require an electrician.  He only charged for the service call.  Great guy.

They seemed knowledgeable. I did have a guy come and do the deck cleaning and he unplugged the dryer, and then it wouldn’t come on and that’s when I saw some problem and that was the washer, and I didn’t know the dryer was unplugged.

We had a shaky start as he never returned my 8:00 a.m. voice-mail.  After a second 9:05 call, we connected, made arrangements and the balance of the transaction went VERY WELL. He is a SOLE owner/operator and does not have any office staff.  Be patient, leave a message, and he will return your call and live up to his commitment.  He was very professional, did excellent work and explained the problem and solution. I WILL definitely use him again and refer him to others.  

He said that my laundry machine needed a new 'clutch'. I was extremely pleased. He was a very nice person on the phone and was timely. He fixed the problem quickly and showed us the results. He did a great job.

Owner Al fixed the ignitor on our gas stove.  He quoted me a price over the phone and it came in at the exact same price when he completed the service.  He was prompt and came out the day after I had contacted him and is a very friendly, cheerful individual.  We will use him again for any appliance repairs.

We dealt with the owner "Al".  He was very responsive on the phone and set a time range as to when he would be at our home.  He also indicated that he would call us when he was on his way.  He did call us and was on time.   He was quite professional and responsive to our questions.  His appearance was professional.  He explained what he was doing each step of the way.  He worked in a clean and neat manner.

The repair was made and the price of the repair was quite reasonable.  While he was there, we asked questions regarding other appliances.  He was knowledgable and he seemed to know his business.

I would recommend him without reservation.

The person arrived on time, he asked a few questions, then got right to work. The issue was found in about 10 minutes. He stated was the issue was and then proceded to fix it. After fixing it, he did a very good test of the other functions. 

I must admit I was apprehensive after visiting the website, but took a chance based on past reviews. I am glad I took the chance and will be using them in the future.

Technician does excellent work. When I called him, he could tell me what work he did previously at my house and what type of appliances I had; e.g. Oh, I remember you. You have a x type of dishwasher--how has that been working for you. Since I caught him on site at another call, I was quite impressed with his knowledge of his previous service calls. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

The service was great.  Al returned my phone call quickly, made an appointment for that week and came promptly to the appointment.   Al spent a good deal of time to ensure that the washer was working properly after removing all the error codes from the machine.  He checked all the working parts to ensure there was no other problem and it has been working just fine ever since.

The person that came out was wonderful. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

We were quoted a range of prices over the phone, depending on what was needed. He was fairly certain the problem was the ignitor, but didn't want to surprise me if it wasn't. He did the job in less than 15 minutes and was very friendly. He made sure that we knew that it worked properly after he finished. The price he charged was the low end of the quotes.

Gave me an estimated and i chose to gamble to repair it.  fixed 2 components but that wasnt the problem.  Determined it was the motor, so since I was in for the original cost already, I chose to replace the motor, which he installed for no additional labor and even took the time to look for the lowest price motor he could find.  Called my tenant personally to let her know what was going on.  GREAT service.

Al is a complete professional.  I was able to reach him right away when I called, we made an appointment for the next day, and he willingly discussed with me what the possible problems were on the phone.  He gave me a two hour window, showed up right in the middle of it--getting bonus points from me since many contractors slide up to the front door in the last two minutes of the window, then stay for an hour--and was gone 10 minutes before the appointment window ended.  He was very personable and explained everything he was doing and why.  Having been inside this dishwasher quite a bit this year and spent a bit on repairs with other contractors, I am very happy to have the means to recognize this problem early and to take care of it myself in the future--and he even advised me on how to avoid other repairs he could see on the horizon.  I feel like Al saved me a bundle in time and money, was extremely considerate of my time and my home, and respected my intelligence.  I will definitely be calling him again for any large appliance repairs.  You should too.

I appreciate that he asked questions and figured out the problem, so when he came, he had the correct part and promptly installed it.The second time, he had to use the scientific method to figure out what was happening. Turns out it wasn't a malfunction and didn't need fixing.I appreciate his honesty and reasonable charges. I will use him again!

Great service!! I was doubtful about the quote I received on the phone, as I've had many, many repair people double their cost once the work was done.  My washer was repaired in minutes and he installed a latch on the dryer door and only charged $6 for that.  I will definitely be a repeat customer.
