Absolutely Guaranteed Appliance Repair

Couldn't have gone better! Al was able to come over the day after we called. He quickly diagnosed our problems (pump with the washer and build up on our dishwasher from a bad water softener). He ordered the parts needed and came over the following day to finish off the repairs. Very knowledgeable and personable, would highly recommend him.

Since I didn't need the filter in my refrigerator, he created a bypass of the filter and fixed the leak. He was the business owner & nice guy. Showed up on time and quickly. He fixed it then and there and we were all set to go.

Everything went great. Al was incredibly nice and excellent at the work. He was quick and thorough, and was able to fix our dishwasher promptly. He also gave some terrific advice about appliances in general. Would definitely use his services again!

My refrigerator was not cooling and my freezer was about the temperature that my refrigerator should be. I called and was able to get an appointment the next day. He was running ahead of schedule and called to see if it would be ok to come early to the appointment. He was able to determine what the problem was immediately and had it repaired very quickly. Al was very friendly and professional.

The company had been able to diagnose the problem over the phone and quoted the exact charge, which is what we paid. Very prompt, they came the day after we called for service and on time. The repairman was friendly, efficient (done in 20 minutes), informative, and helpful on the leveling matter which I only mentioned after he arrived.

This is the third time we've used Absolutely Guaranteed Appliance Repair and we were extremely pleased the first two times (refrigerator and dishwasher). This time, our dryer was not heating and we knew exactly who to call. Al was on time, had the problem diagnosed in minutes, had the part in his van, replaced it in a few more minutes, and even offered to switch our dryer door to open on the opposite side to make it easier to load clothes from our washer (which will be great). Al is phenomenal and I recommend Absolutely Guaranteed Appliance Repair with absolute confidence that you'll be satisfied.

I called Al on 4/15, he called me back promptly and we scheduled an appointment for shortly thereafter. The morning he was to arrive he called ahead to say he was on his way, then showed up on time, took a listen to the machine, and said he had the part on him - in his pocket! He had a good idea what was wrong just by what I had told him over the phone. You can't beat having someone with 30+ years of experience. He explained clearly what was wrong, told me how much it would cost ($118), and asked me if I wanted him to do the job. Yes please! While he was there I asked him to take a look at the dryer as there was no heat when I used the high setting. Again, he quickly figured out the problem, explained it to me clearly, and gave me another very fair price. He fixed both appliances, showed me what he had done, collected a check and was on his way. It was a textbook example of fantastic customer service from start to finish. I highly recommend Absolutely Guaranteed.

After Al's assessment, I determined it was better to purchase new rather than spend the money to get it fixed. Had the repairs been less significant, I would have had Al repair it. He would have been able to get the needed parts that day and get it fixed. The next time I have an appliance problem, I will definitely give Al a call.

Called to ask if they repair a certain manufacturer washer. Response was a firm "No" as they are unable to get parts. Asked if I got the part from the manufacturer if they could do the service, as I have had a nightmare with the manufacturer's customer service department. I was told told that they would not service manufacturer unless the manufacturer had the courtesy to supply parts. Person on phone then had small tirade against the manufacturer and said he wouldn't help me. Told him I was having trouble finding reliable service, asked if he did he have a recommendation. He said no. I was pretty disgusted that I called for help and all I got was a tirade about a product I had inherited in a house purchase. I do understand that they are upset about the parts distribution is a problem for them, but it's not my fault. Sad to see that this POH nominee acted like such a jerk. I won't be calling them back - don't want another tongue lashing if I don't have a good "brand".

Our refrigerator wasn't cooling. Al fit us in between appts. on a busy day before Thanksgiving. He called me at work when he was on his way. He came out and replaced the controls starter first, which solved the problem. He tested everything to make sure it was working properly. He had the part stocked in his car so everything took less than an hour.

Excellent. Mr. Ligons was on time, knew what he was doing, was courteous and very helpful. He was organized and cleaned up after his work. He took the time to explain the issues to me.

Was able to get an appointment right away. Very professional. Excellent price.

Great. Al called in the morning and thought that the heating element would need replacing. He had me find our oven's serial number and ordered the part, then came out the same afternoon to replace it.

Al came over and assessed the problem right away. He ordered the new part and put it in when it arrived a few days later. Al's price was better than others I had checked on.

Scheduled same day service, arrived when promised, was very friendly and efficient, fixed the problem right away, the oven works fine.

We called Al based on his good Angie's List recommendation. Al came out right away and had a look and a listen at a time when I could be there. Al is prompt, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. There was only so much he could do, since the noise did not happen when he was there. He did open the machine to clean some things and for a better listen. He did note that the grinder assembly had stripped out it. Al explained what he was doing all the time, which I really appreciate, since I am fairly handy and I try to have an understanding of our appliances, even if I can't always repair them. Well, the noise came back after he left, so we got the part and installed it and that fixed the problem. I enjoyed having Al over and I learned a great deal. I would recommend him highly to anyone, and definitely call him again if we have any other appliance problems.

He was very fast and professional. Cost was more than originally estimated cost of $250. The new ice maker works perfectly. I had ice in less than 2 hours after the repair.

Al was punctual, quick, friendly and knowledgeable. He even took the time to take a quick look at my dishwasher even though that was not the reason for the service call.

Al was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely use his services again in the future. He diagnosed the problem in about 5 seconds, had the new part available in his van, and was done with the job in about 10 minutes. Al offered some advice on how to avoid a repeat problem, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, a great experience with this company.

The problem was first diagnosed over the phone and since I thought I would have to buy a new washing machine, I was thrilled. Once he got here, it took just a short time to fix the agitator and another wiring problem that had never been noticed before. He also gave me some good advice for what to do in the future...don't repair it...it's too old! Thanks

Al was able to come to the house same day. He was friendly and professional. He knew what was the problem before he even got here based on our phone conversation. He brought the parts with him and had the Washer pulled apart, fixed and put back together in about 20 minutes. He was more than happy to let me watch and tell me what he was doing. I would definitely use his services again.

Very well. We set a range of 1-3 pm for repairs, he called me at 1:15, arrived when he said he would and finished the repair in good time (had all parts and equipment needed with him.)

My wife indicated that he was a very nice guy. He also adjusted the dial on our clothes dryer which was loose. He charged us exactly what he told me it would cost when I scheduled the appointment.
