I have had them come out 3 times regarding a boiler in a home we purchased. The experience went well. They evaluated the boiler, got a few radiators working again and tested all the radiators. We did not know how to work any of the heating in the house. We are considering buying a new boiler but we are sticking with what we have thus far. They were very responsive. They knew what they were doing. It is a 100 year old house and they were able to feel their way around and give me information about the house.

I appreciated him working with me. I liked his flexibility. He seemed really honest. He has a brand he uses that he believes in. He has a lot of experience. He also seemed willing to work with me on special requirements. He was not pushy and was totally open.

The gas company had red-tagged the old boiler because it was too rusty and had to be replaced. John was one of 4 heating contractors who came in and gave me bids. John's was the most straight-forward - his bid was for the work i had asked for with no extra items added in. His bid was also very competitive on price. I don't live in-staqte so i wasn't able to supervise the work myself, but the finished work was great - it was completed on time with no issues whatsoever. I'd hire John again - he did great work.

I left a message for John. The call was returned in less than 24 hours. We set a time for an estimate for Friday, I accepted and the heat was on a week later. They were on-time, clean and I couldn't have asked for anything more from them. They spent the entire day running heating pipes under the floors, connecting them to the boiler, testing and showing me how to operate.

They were $2,000 cheaper then another provider. They were able to come out the next day to do the work for me. They installed it quickly, efficiently and professionally. They cleaned up and were out of here in no time. I was very pleased with their work.

Toward the end of October, I had a routine check of my heating system by another company. I was told that my old boiler was leaking carbon monoxide and had to be disconnected. They dropped off three little electric heaters for me to borrow and sent someone out to give me an estimate for a new boiler. I decided to get a second estimate. I looked in the yellow pages and called Aaztec (boiler specialist according to the ad). John Fissel came right over and gave me an estimate that was much less than the other company, for the same model recommended by the first company. He said he used to work for the gas company and had installed thousands of boilers. He did an expert job of removing my old boiler and installing a new one. John was amazing and I can't recommend him enough.

John was referred to me by Richard from the other company. His price was much lower than the other quotes I got. I had trouble finding information on his company, & all he provided me with was an estimate sheet that did not have any contact information on it & a business card that only had his phone number & fax number on it. I was able to find his Minneapolis license information. On the day of the work, he showed up on time & began work. It took about five hours. Since the electrical subcontractor could not come out that day, he had them call me to schedule a time & he agreed to wait for payment until they were done. They came out two days later & spent about an hour installing the wiring to an existing box.
