Good Stuff Moving

Adam and Andrew were FANTASTIC and accomplished the job in exactly the amount of time they estimated. They were incredibly efficient and very good at what they do. I highly recommend them for those moving!!!

I contacted Good Stuff moving on a Monday morning for a Saturday move. Fortunately, they had a couple of openings, first thing in the morning or between 10 and 3. I was more than a little surprised at the large window for the afternoon appointment so we took the first appointment in the morning. I was told they would show up sometime between 7:30 and 8:30. I asked that it be closer to 8:00 if possible but was told they couldn't guarantee the arrival time. I thought that was odd considering that we were the first move of the day. The day of the move Maurice and Eric were excellent. They showed up at 8:00 and didn't waste anytime starting the job. They were efficient, quick, and extremely friendly and helpful. The job took just under 4 hours to complete. Would definitely use them again.

I was very appreciative that the representative from the moving facility was honest and was quick to give me another source. I will consider them again if there is a need.

Project went fine. Movers arrived on time wearing logo'd apparel. Both were friendly and courteous. The project was completed within less than 1/2 hour with no problems. They were careful not to bump walls or scratch the furniture. Movers do need to take care that they have clean shoes or wear booties when inside a carpeted home.

I dealt with both owners over the phone regarding estimates and scheduling. Both were very helpful and responsive to my needs and concerns. On moving day, the 2-man crew worked non-stop. They dealt with the furniture and most of the boxes. (We also loaded and unloaded some boxes.) As others have said in their comments, the crew was courteous, professional and hard-working. Amongst the 5 of us, we accomplished the entire move (except odds and ends I'd planned to move myself later) in less than 2 hours, including travel time - less time than the estimate. I was so impressed that I may have over-tipped, but it was well worth it. I chose this company from among the A-rated movers on Angie's List not only because of their high ratings but also because they are a small company with permanent, full-time employees, so I could be quite sure that anything said about the company would also apply to the actual people who performed the move. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

I had a poor experience with this company. I agreed to a phone estimate (my mistake) rather than in-home. The contact estimated 3-5 hours; I said that seemed too little because we have some large, heavy furniture. The job took 7 hours, not including lunch. The three young men they sent appeared to be hard-working and polite but were tired by early afternoon and kept asking when they could leave. Yet there was still lots of furniture to move. They did not put down floor coverings and there were many scratches on our newly finished floors. They broke our treadmill by cutting a wire. Because they were tired, the furniture was just put down anywhere. I've moved houses four times; this was the worst. I blame the company for under-estimating the job.

We merged 2 households into one due to marriage, one in Mounds View the other in Eagan. Initially the move started good, movers arrived on time, loaded furniture and boxes efficiently, but they underestimated the size and number of trucks needed to complete the job. Also, due to timing problems with closing on our property, we were not able to gain access to the new house when first anticipated. The supervisor from Good Stuff frequently called to check on when we could gain access to the house, at one point threatened to unload the trucks on the driveway because the crew was supposed to be done by 4:30 pm. After we completed the closing and the movers began to unload, all seemed to go well until I got a call from the new owner of my previous house saying there was still a lot of items in the garage the movers did not take. It turns out that we had to return ourselves to load a pick-up, snowmobile trailer and van full of stuff not loaded by the movers. Not a good experience!

Adam, Brent, and Andrew were very prompt, polite, and worked hard. Everything arrived in perfect condition. However, I had a few small complaints. They forgot some small stuff when loading that we didn't notice, so we had to move some stuff ourselves afterward. Also, they were a little sloppy on unloading, but that was probably our fault because we already had boxes sitting everywhere. I wish they would bring their own floor coverings, like some other moving companies do. Overall, I was pleased with their work.

Very pleasant and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy. They even took apart and put back together a kitchen table that they did not move.

Very professional. The office manager was friendly and helpful and loaned wardrobe boxes at no charge. The moving men were very careful and extremely hard working. Not a thing scratched or dented. They charge by the hour and the guys hustled so you get your money's worth. We had many heavy items and stairs and they moved it all without complaint. Great service.

Job 1: The move was accomplished in almost exactly 4 hours on the coldest day of the winter. The guys doing the work were very pleasant and polite. I was extremely pleased with how the move went and I will definitely recommend this company to anyone I know who is planning to move. They arrived right on time as scheduled. Job 2: The 2 gentlemen called about 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time to let me know they were nearby. They were very careful with my furniture & also very skilled at determining the best way to move each piece upstairs through a tight turn to the narrow stairway. I wasn't really sure that everything would fit through the stairway opening but it did. If I ever move again, I'll contact Good Stuff again.

They were very professional and friendly. We moved into a multi level townhouse and they handled it wonderfully.

The 1st time the 2 man team was fantastic. Very amazing. The 2nd time, a different 2 man team worked on it & did a good job, but not spectacular. I would use them again. They were very efficient with their time.

The movers were on time and polite. They worked efficiently and carefully. There was no apparent damage to any item. Cost was reasonable. I would use this firm again.

We couldn't have been any happier with this service. Three movers and one truck moved all of our things into the new house. The total move took about 7 hours. Good Stuff was very proactive in sending reps to our house - both to estimate and to drop off moving materials 2 weeks prior to the move. The crew that actually moved us were friendly, engaged, and very respectful of our personal items. The original estimate came in at $1,600, however, because we used less material than estimated, they refunded us about $500 which was a very welcome surprise. We would recommend this company to anyone who is moving. They are punctual, priced appropriately, and they are willing to take the time to set expectations up front - and deliver on those expectations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!!!

This company was great! They discounted the cost because the item was being donated to persons with developmental disabilities. The move was seamless. The movers arrived on time, and they were very efficient, fast and polite. The service was excellent, and the cost was very reasonable. These folks are very kind and good.

Good Stuff Moving was wonderful. They worked really hard, and moved our stuff without a problem. It was such a great experience. We were moving on our own, and it just became too much. They did enough work in a couple of hours to equal what we did in a week ourselves, and their pricing is excellent. I highly recommend them, and we will use them again.

We were very pleased with the work done by Good Stuff Moving. They called the morning of the move to see if we wanted to add a third person to the two man crew we'd originally scheduled. That actually proved quite helpful, since there was plenty of work to be done. The crew showed up on time and worked steadily (and hard!) throughout the next six hours, stopping only for lunch. They were careful with our furniture and pleasant to deal with. Virtually everything arrived in good shape. Pricing was competitive and the company was able to handle our move on very short notice. We would use them again, (even though we hope not to need their services for a very long time).

THEY ARRIVED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GIVEN WINDOW OF TIME ON BOTH MOVES. THEY WORKED VERY QUICKLY, AND WERE ABLE TO HANDLE SOME AWKWARD ITEMS (EXERCISE BIKE, FOR EXAMPLE) IN SOME TIGHT AREAS WITHOUT DAMAGING ANY WALLS. THEY SEEMED VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY.

THE GUYS WERE ALL FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL AND WORKED VERY HARD. WE MAY HAVE SET A RECORD FOR THE NUMBER OF BOXES TO COME OUT OF ONE LITTLE HOUSE, BUT THEY WERE GOOD-NATURED ABOUT HAULING IT ALL CAREFULLY. NOTHING WAS BROKEN, AND THEY CHECKED WITH US TO BE SURE OUR FURNITURE WAS EXACTLY WHERE WE WANTED IT BEFORE THEY DEPARTED. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AND WOULD USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

JOSH AND ERIC WERE TERRIFIC. I THINK THIS WAS THE BEST $615 I EVER SPENT. THEY CALLED TO CONFIRM THEIR ARRIVAL THE MORNING OF THE MOVE. THE COST WAS LOWER THAN THE ESTIMATE. JOSH AND ERIC WERE FRIENDLY, HARD WORKING, ACCOMMODATING, ETC, ETC. THEY MADE A STRESSFUL OPERATION MUCH LESS STRESSFUL. NOTHING WAS BROKEN, EVERYTHING WAS MOVED WHERE WE WANTED IT TO GO AND THERE WAS NO COMPLAINING OR DAWDLING. WE BOUGHT THEM SANDWICHES AND THEY ATE THEM ''OFF THE CLOCK.'' THE MID-MONTH RATE WAS $98/HOUR FOR BOTH GUYS. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COMPANY AND THESE TWO GUYS IN PARTICULAR.

I HAD A GRANDFATHER CLOCK. THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY LAID DOWN RUGS. THEY WERE WONDERFUL. AND I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN. THEY WORKED WELL TOGETHER.

THE TWO YOUNG MEN WERE EXTREMELY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND CAREFUL. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.
