Good Stuff Moving

The owner (Brent) is helpful & personable and mailed us a written estimate within 1 business day. The workers showed up on schedule and the job took about three hours, not including drive time. We did our own packing. Anything that is not packed, including junk drawers, is not moved. This is disclosed by the company up front, so no surprises there. The queen size bed was disassembled prior to the move and re-assembled afterwards to further speed things along. Furnishings are carefully wrapped by the movers; however, our wall-sized computer center came apart in transit. The movers were able to re-assemble it, with the help of my husband, and it is as good as new. Our 50" screen TV was successfully moved into the basement and it was no small feat. The guys had to maneuver around a dropped ceiling, with less than 1/4 inch to spare. It was a major pain for them and added another 30 minutes onto the move time, but at the end of the day, they got the job done. Had it not been for these two snafus, the estimate would have been right on. Overall, we are satisfied with the quality of service and included a gratuity, even though it was not expected or suggested by the workers. The cost estimate above does not include the gratuity, so if you plan to tip, be sure to add that amount on to the base rate of $110 per hour.

Be ready to go when they get there, have everything packed up. They were a little too energetic in getting the job done quickly. We felt very rushed.

I gave this company a call and they gave me one of the lowest price quotes. I thought that the two men they sent were polite and hardworking. They made sure that they were careful to maneuver the furniture out of the house.

I called the gentleman at Good Stuff Moving (sorry I'm bad remembering names), and set up an appointment. I described what was to be moved and he estimated a 2-man job, one truck, taking about 3 hours. In any event, the minimum cost was for three hours, he said, at $110.00 per hour. A day or so later, I called back and changed the date of the move and they were very accommodating. I didn't move all my furniture as I was junking some of it, for example, none of my bedroom furniture was moved. They moved sofa, recliner, dinette table and chairs, treadmill and numerous boxes, 2 TV's, and odds and ends. I had all the boxes packed before they arrived. They called 1/2 hour before arriving and arrived right on time. They listened attentively to what and how I want things moved and then proceeded to move everything professionally and efficiently. They were very careful about disassembling things, careful not to scrape any walls when carrying heavy furniture out, and secured all items well in the truck. They unpacked quickly and put things where I directed them to. All together it took just about 2 hours, plus 1/2 hour travel time.

Went real well. On time very polite and did a good job moving.

The move went very well thanks to Adam and Nathan. It took 7 hours. Travel time about one half hour and same for lunch. The person we spoke to on the phone to arrange this move figured what size truck and how many movers correctly. We highly recommend this company to anyone planning a move.

They were able to come the same day I called, were here on time and finished up within the time frame we'd set. Very amiable.

Our daughter, her baby, and two friends moved into a three bedroom trailer and had to vacate unexpectedly because they all became sick after two days and three nights of living there. We needed to get their furniture and belongings out of the trailer as soon as possible. I told Brent that everyone became deathly sick after two days and three nights of living there so he prepared his two movers with masks. Brent's efficiency and helpfulness to accommodate/schedule a last minute Sunday move was really appreciated and needed! Both men worked hard and were very personable. Since our daughter and friends had just moved into the trailer and unpacked and tossed boxes, etc., everything needed to be packed again so we asked the men to box everything too. This was a very stressful time for our daughter and the efficiency of getting their belongings packed, moved, and stored so they can focus on finding another place to live was absolutely wonderful. The moving crew really knew what they were doing, and when they were in action it was like watching a swarm of ants descend upon the house and take it away. There were a couple small issues that I spoke with Brent about after the move and they were addressed quickly, efficiently and without any quibbling. My neighbors used the company as well without any issues whatsoever. They had a large safe that needed to be moved, and the gentlemen on the team simply shrugged, strapped it up and moved it out, no problem.

Called on a Wednesday and scheduled for next morning. Provided a 2 hour appt. for meeting at the pickup spot. Called me at the beginning of the time. They were on time and moved it carefully with heavy duty strap to and from the homes. The move included up steps into my home. The guys are strong.

Movers were terrific! Conscientious. Did a great job. Said they would arrive with 3 men, and only arrived with 2. The price was higher than the estimate. We used them before (within this last year) and thought the price was a little high then too. Overall, we were happy with the experience

After arriving promptly at 10 am they carefully & efficiently packed my father's belongings. They were willing to stop and drop off a TV at a recycling center along the way. They were very patient with us and our indecisiveness about furniture placement. They were very pleasant people to work with. The time needed for the move was slightly longer than originally estimated but we had more stuff than typical for an elderly person.

They shrink wrapped everything for us. They made sure the floor was protected as well so it wasn't damaged. I liked their promptness, professionalism and kindness.

Went extremely well. Team of two movers arrived right in the middle of the two hour time window they had promised. They were very careful in moving all items, were very communicative throughout the process, and got everything done in the estimated time (7 hours.)

I called several movers for my target weekend off of Angie's List. Paul at Good Stuff Movers actually answered the phone personally-no voice mail tag. He had availability on my moving date-no one else did-and after listening to my list of stuff, estimated the move to cost between $485-550. I called Paul to confirm the move with him a few days later-it took him a while to find my reservation-stopping my heart for a few moments-then Paul said he had my move "listed." For peace of mind, I also called and re-confirmed two days before the move. Paul didn't hesitated that time and confirmed immediately. On the day of the move, a Saturday morning, two guys pulled up at 8:30 (target time was between 7:30 and 8:30). They were professionally attired in Good Stuff Movers clothing. These guys were clean-up and personable and worked at a steady pace. They followed me to the new home and with a minimum of fuss had everything where it should be.

They were really great. They were on time, they were fast, and they were very polite. When I first called, the man who answered the phone gave me all the necessary details. It pleasant experience.

Great crew of three got the job done fast and carefully. This move was due to a divorce, and the guys' professionalism and easy-going attitude helped keep the tension down. Would hire them again in a heart beat!

Brent was exceptionally great on the phone. They sold me some additional boxes at 1/2 price, which I greatly appreciated. The guys they sent to move me were quite good. They were attentive to how I had labeled boxes and things that I needed. Everything got to the appropriate rooms when we arrived. Overall, they did a good job.

I had to reschedule at the last minute because the closing fell through. Brent and Paul were great. This is an excellent company to work with. Working with Good Stuff moving was a no problem, no hassle proposition. Their job was done perfectly when everything else connected with my move was a hassle and nightmare. I am so grateful.
