Good Stuff Moving

I was stunned at the fact they provided services in the North Branch, MN area. I called many movers and they didn't service this area because it was far. But not the Good Stuff movers they trek it out there to move us.They showed up on time, very professional and polite. I am happy with the cost of the move, it was very reasonable. Diffidently recommend this guys and would totally use the Good Stuff movers again.

Very smooth and seamless with Good Stuff. They were on time, hard working and careful. I appreciated their work very much.

They were extremely helpful and listened carefully to all instructions given. They were also very helpful with my small child as she kept trying to get in their way.

The two men who arrived were in affable and very hard working. They arrived on time, laid runners over the hardwood floors and maintained a good humor throughout a difficult move over an icy driveway. About an hour into the task of carrying large, heavy boxes up a narrow flight of stairs and into the truck one said to the other, "So do you still want to go work out tonight?" "I'll let you know," said the other. They carefully stacked the boxes in the storage unit so that two aisles were created, making everything accessible. Really impressive work and definitely worth the money.

Good Stuff did an excellent job. The team that did the move arrived on time and were professional, helpful and they moved quickly. We needed to take apart and re-assemble several pieces of furniture to get them out of and into the houses. They provided the tools and had the expertise to get this done (quickly), too.

They were great. We were very happy with their work.

The only issue was an additional cost that they didn't tell us up front, they told us about it after they moved it. It was some sort of travel cost.

They were great. The guys were really nice and and they moved my stuff efficiently and carefully. Nothing was damaged.

Over all the move took longer than the bid was for. We were bid approximately $700 to $800 and it ended up being a total of over $1100. They did show up 15 to 20 minutes late and it was kind of like pulling teeth to get the guys going. I figured time is costing me money so I expected they would have a game plan and get right to it chop, chop. There were initially 3 worker and then a 4th was sent over because the head guy was nursing a sore back and was kind of wining a bout it. I understand the guy hurt but then he should have stayed home. After the guys emptied the truck on the first trip to the new house they went in and had lunch. Now granted that was my mother in laws fault because she invited them but the thing is I got stuck paying them for 30 to 45 minutes for them to just sit around and eat roast beef sandwiches. Over all it took 2 loads in the big truck to complete the move and I thought that if they had been a little more organized it wouldn't have cost me so much. In there favor they didn't really wreck anything during the move.

They were very professional and careful. They were on time. I would use them again in the future.

They did very well. They staff were very friendly, on time and moved everything to where it needed to go. They did a nice job and did not complain, even though we have a lot of stuff. They were pretty expensive and the quote ended a little under what we ended up at.

On time, on budget, able to come on short notice, extremely polite and helpful, hard working.

Everything went smoothly and was as painless as moving can be.

The logistical move itself was fine. They showed up on time and only a couple items were broken (which they paid for right away.) However, the moving process was somewhat painful. The main "foreman" seemed more interested in communicating with his buddies than us. There were time where he came off very rude to us as if we were supposed to know how to move a house (sorry, we don't move that much!) He rushed us with many decisions and they grunted their way through the move. Bottom line, our stuff was moved but it left us with a sour taste in our mouths.

These guys did a great job with our move. Dominic came by and gave a reasonable estimate to pack and move us within St. Paul, coming in a bit lower than the other bid we got. Dominic also told us that they would reuse the boxes and packing material we had left over from our last move (in 2008). The packers showed up on time and did a great job. Movers did the same. The move took longer than Dominic estimated (probably as a result of the long walk up to the new house, but Dominic brought two other guys in in the afternoon and kept the additional cost to a minimum (maybe 150 over the bid estimate).

I was specifically concerned about my Grandmother's china cabinet. Brent, the owner, assured me they would take care of the cabinet. We scheduled the pick up for 8:00 am on June 10th. They called the day before to confirm pick up. They arrived at 8:15 am. The last item was moved into my house at 9:40 am. The guys were very polite and thanked me for my business. I was quoted one half hour travel time and $100 per hour. We guessed it would take under three hours.

They were friendly, on time, quick, and pleasant to work with. We did end up with some dings on the walls and things like that.

Paul, one of the owners, arrived exactly on time to give us the estimate. We went thru the entire house reviewing the contents. In about an hour he had provided the firm estimate. This was in the middle of the three estimates I got. He promised to arrive and load on the Monday I requested, take one day to drive and then unload on Wed. That's exactly what happened, right on time. No merging with other customer's belongings, no delays. First they put down floor runners in all the halls and into all rooms to protect the floors - both for loading and unloading. All furniture was very carefully wrapped and handled. We had to pack all other belongings in boxes, which he delivered four weeks ahead of time along with bubble wrap, packing paper and tape. We also used many of our own boxes which was entirely acceptable. All belongings arrived undamaged except for one small "ding" on a bedroom end table. He reduced the quoted price by $300 until I got the ding fixed. He told us (at time of estimate) that their policy was to repair/replace any damaged items and he carried thru.

They were absolutely wonderful! Professional, everything handled as they had predicted when I made the arrangements. The men were great in giving attention to my two girls, while continuing their work, and when asking questions about issues, I always had the sense that it was with pleasure that they were doing this work for me!

Their people do this for a living and they are really good at it. I was really impressed with them. Everything is properly secured in the truck, so you don't have to worry about things getting damaged. They were also very good about asking what things I wanted in front of the storage facility so that I could easily get to certain things. I never would have thought of that. The guy in the storage unit was really great about organizing things. He also knew that if we put the sofa up on end that the frame might shift and might not be in proper shape anymore. Again, I was really impressed with their knowledge and experience. There is not a high turnover of their employees, and they all take a great deal of pride in what they do, and being good at it. Also, I will add that just from talking to them on the phone they were able to determine what size of a storage unit I would need, which was helpful.

The movers arrived promptly and packed up 29 years of household belongings into two trucks. They were very careful and efficient. At our new home they placed furniture and boxes in various rooms as they were labeled and when the sleeper couch would not fit down the basement steps, they took it out around the house and carried it up to the upper duplex for our daughter and son-in-law. The crew was very pleasant to work with. We would hire them again.

They did an excellent job moving my 3 bedroom home to our new home. They did not damage anything, and they were extremely fast-very organized! I have used them several times. My friends and relatives have used them as well, and we were all very pleased with their service and price.

It was a tougher project than they originally bid because the refrigerator ended up being larger than I thought. They handled the difference. One guy was very professional and the other was not. I agreed to pay an additional fee, around 50 dollars more and I thought the price was still worth it. They were fairly punctual going to both places.

The move went well. Paul, Brent, and Ben showed up at 7:45 am as indicated and were done by 10:45. Very smooth and well done.

Movers were later than their estimate, but they did call to inform us of that. Load-out and move-in were quick, furniture was protected, and we found only one instance of minor (actually, inconsequential) damage. Movers were friendly and helpful, but we were a little surprised they showed up in a Budget rental truck.
